My first visit to the city ground was 1949 so you can guess I am quite old but still compos mentis. I was a season ticket holder until a few years ago when a knee replacement operation has prevented me from assessing my front row seat in the Brian Clough stand so its now on TV or radio.
I have sky sports but Forest getting into Europe ends up on TNT. I refuse to pay another subscription I am unlikely to use. Okay, so I will listen on line to BBC radio Nottingham. As soon as pre match finishes they are not allowed to do commentary because I live in Lincolnshire.
The final straw is that the forthcoming game against Chelsea is on TNT. In other words only Sky gives me a chance to see the games but I have noticed they seem to be filling their schedule with championship matches, its probably cheaper.
At least when I die I am being cremated in my Forest shirt. Loyal to the end eh!

I'm a yad younger mate, first match 1968 and lucky enough to have a season ticket but I live in North Yorkshire and it takes over two hours to get to home matches. It's exhausting but I'll do until until I can't.
I'm with you entirely about TNT. I have sky but won't pay for anything else, not even radio. It's BBC for Christ's sake. We pay a licence already.
So it's home matches or Sky. I won't get to see us in Europe either unfortunately.

If you Google bbc radio Nottingham, they have most matches on and can listen via your browser. Then i connect my phone to the work van and happy days.
But yeah i pay for sky and TNT but only because i live so far away that making home games is stupidly hard nowadays. Often think i could get a season ticket for the price i pay for the sports subscriptions. 🌳.

Seeing Spence in the England team reminded me of the team that won the playoffs. A player we couldn't keep or Garner ( starts for Everton ) or Samba ( on the bench for France ). Interestingly Yates remains. Henderson ( England ) we couldn't sign. Will we be regretting by the end of January, adding to that list. What happens next re AP will dictate who leaves.

Feels OK to point out the positives and also the negatives. If you want our Chairman to show his ‘passion’ by marching onto the field to berate our excellent manager, to hire Mark Clattenberg, to hire Edu, to sack Nuno, to hire Ange…. be as supportive as you want.

The only reason Ange hasn’t gone is because he was clearly Mr M’s own hire…. and that’s what makes this period difficult.

Will he stick or twist? If we twist and end up with Dyche, how will you feel about it then?

Guys - I hear what you're saying. However, re-read the original post from BS. To me, I interpret it that he is not talking about our owners per-se, but about their egos. Nothing about inward-investment and passion, but about the vanity-projects that have become the plague both within the PL and Championship with regards to football club ownership.

I would throw-out one question to you all. Do any of you truly believe Big M is in this for his longstanding and devout love of our great club? Of course he's not. He's a hard-nosed businessman who senses a big return on his investment. Forest is just another of his business interests - nothing more and nothing less.

The new stand could have easily been extended and quickly but what M wanted and what has caused such a long delay is making it into a commercial project, in other words to make money.
The revenue from just more fans was not the aim.
