Just saw this on HITC putting that rumour to bed.
John Terry has posted on his Instagram story that he wants to 'distance' himself from the Nottingham Forest job.
1.) 14 Sep 2021 22:09:42
He'll probably be the next manager then.
How many times do managers get a vote of confidence from the board only to be sacked the next week.
He's just being polite and pointing out that at this moment hughton is still the manager.
He'll soon throw his hat in when hughton goes, which needs to be soon.
2.) 15 Sep 2021 15:29:27
He’s distancing himself out of respect for the fact a bloke already has the job,
3.) 15 Sep 2021 15:41:41
Rodgers my goat.

No football sadly today but at least we can have a few beers and watch some of the egg chasing.
Not a bad start at all for Dyche to be honest and hasn't at all been sit back defensive stuff, fair play.
We have a very good squad, much better than some of the teams around us and think we will be out of the bottom 3 by the end of the year for sure. We have a few players to come back as well, good stuff.
1.) 15 Nov 2025 11:38:59
I'd rather poke my eyes with hot pokers than watch rugball.
A decent start and hopefully we can build on the good result and performance we saw against Leeds. 4 points in the last 2 games is definitely the way forward. You Reds. I still think one or two additions in January is needed especially a midfielder because I'm not totally convinced by Luiz's fitness. Quality player but the niggles are a bit concerning.
2.) 15 Nov 2025 14:01:47
I’d be looking at maybe bringing another striker in aswell Raver as without Wood we look a bit wanting up front. Jesus is a work in progress, tries tries hard and never stops running but he’s not the finished article yet and I’d be binning Kalimuendo back off to the frog league, you can just tell already that he’s not going to be good enough.
On a positive note, Awoniyi looked okay when he came on against the Yorkshire Puddings, hopefully he can build on the performance, get some confidence back and bag a few goals. I’m still not so sure about Ndoye either? He’s yet to convince me. But i get the new team, new league and new country bit so he deserves a chance to up his game a bit. We shall see.
3.) 15 Nov 2025 14:07:21
I'll have a few joints and watch Soccer Saturday on Sky Sports instead.
4.) 15 Nov 2025 14:25:44
One of the finest sporting events in the world England v All Blacks 80,000 at Twickenham me included!
Egg chasing indeed! Football, Rugby, Cricket; I love them all.
5.) 15 Nov 2025 14:48:41
New league, new team and new country for Kalimuendo as well and he's only had one start and given no service.
6.) 15 Nov 2025 21:22:10
Magnificent game of rugby Ginger! Start to finish, superb with 2 incredible teams! ??????.
7.) 16 Nov 2025 11:08:41
It weren't bad was it Stokey lad, we looked pretty comfortable against them to be honest.
09 Nov 2025 17:05:50
Where there's one in the eye for the usual negs on here, good performance and created lots of chances again, more please Forest!
Awoniyi does a much better job of holding up the ball than Jesus can.
1.) 09 Nov 2025 17:27:01
The substitution changed the game. Hutchinson would be a handful even for the Liverpool fullbacks. To my mind he is even quicker than Elanga was, and has the makings of an important player for Forest.
2.) 09 Nov 2025 21:31:55
Awoniyi and Jesus have different qualities. Awoniyi is stronger so can shield the ball and hold up better, Jesus plays clever lay-offs and is a better link up player. Wood is different to both. I'd rather they had different strengths than were all similar.

Really solid first half, we are definitely a better team for Luis playing, but we just can't take our chances at the moment.
At 0-1 I thought we could still come back but a quick 2nd and we were done.
Did anyone else wonder if Reece James note from the manager said 'Ange is getting sacked in the morning! '.

So has everything calmed down now at the City ground after last week, business as usual?
I haven't really heard anymore.
Anyone think Douglas Luiz will start Sunday in place of Sangare?
1.) 29 Aug 2025 15:18:29
Hope nuno isn’t going to mess Luiz about in his stand off with edu,
2.) 29 Aug 2025 16:19:24
I would expect him to be eased in. Hopefully get a good run out in the 2nd half.
3.) 29 Aug 2025 17:01:17
Our old friends Malmo too?
4.) 29 Aug 2025 17:41:22
Malmo is going to be a classic Rogie. Big M talking about getting the 'old guard' out and making a real spectacle of it. Can't wait for that one!
5.) 29 Aug 2025 18:15:39
Pity Trevor can't be there.
6.) 29 Aug 2025 18:22:15
That would be pure nostalgia right there!
Maybe even create that Shot Putt ring that the late Clever Trevor fell into!
7.) 29 Aug 2025 19:01:35
Sangare is a bench warmer now. so let's hope we get some money for him before deadline day.
8.) 30 Aug 2025 15:23:48
No, Liuz will not start. Sangare will.
9.) 30 Aug 2025 15:25:52
The only way Luiz starts Sunday's game, is if Nuno drops MGW, or there is an injury.
24 Aug 2025 08:55:31
Ah jeez, they are mentioning Mourinho now, Mr Happy, no thanks.
Can we all just be adults, sit round a table, get the jammy dodgers/ garibaldis out (no pun intended:), everyone put on their big boy pants and talk it out.
Really hope they can, I really don't want Nuno to go.
Enjoy all those going today and stay safe (hope no-one ends up behind the pillars:)
1.) 24 Aug 2025 10:25:12
If they wanted Nuno gone, the timing is wrong. I agree, in spite of a rumour that I want Nuno gone.
One angle nobody is looking at, is Marinakis might not be happy with Edu, if his people skills are such that he has alienated the Greekfather's choice of Head Coach. A relationship is a two-way thing, so it's Edu and Nuno's responsibility and the buck should rest with the senior member of staff.
27 Jul 2025 09:43:36
Yes, great news Red Stripe, I really didn't see that coming.
I wonder how the people who spoke crap about him feel now, well done Morgan, you know it makes sense:)
10 Jul 2025 22:22:54
Why go there, could understand a club that's top 5 but that definitely ain't Spurs.
02 Sep 2024 22:24:12
Doc, I think you are dealing with symantec's when you say 3 teams poorer than ours, or is it our team better than theirs?
You can paint it how you want, is the rest of the league poorer than City, yes, what a negative way to view things though, doesn't make everyone else shite.
Not sure what Sels could have done about the goal, he's been pretty solid for us to be fair, if he makes a clanger then Miguel will come in.
Sangare is heads and shoulders better than O'Brien, he hasn't ripped up any trees since leaving us, not sure how he keeps popping up, championship player is all.
We've had a decent start to be fair, I know we have harder games to come but jeez, we haven't been played off the park or beat yet.
26 Aug 2024 10:53:13
Munmad, you don't even know that's the truth and your putting a boot in on a player you know little about.
You had him in your starting line-up for Saturday against Southampton, not his fault you get a bit carried away, chill out fella:).
21 Jul 2024 21:05:01
Posts on here only get more accurate when people stop making stuff up, hilarious.
Awoniyi is and has always been first choice striker when fit.
05 Dec 2025 12:01:40
Fight, lol.
Would the weapons of choice be candy floss and kiss me quick hats versus garden gnomes and fishing rods.
Finish him!
03 Dec 2025 23:57:04
Took the 2nd coming to score.
03 Dec 2025 23:55:54
3 points and still picking the shite out of it, let's be happy with the win and move on.
Villa were very lucky to get the win against them at the weekend, they are not the walk over they were before the new manager.
Really gutted Sunderland didn't get the win, fair play to them, great season.
02 Dec 2025 22:42:57
Well shall we just wait for the game tomorrow eh before people start getting their G-Strings all in a twist:)
02 Dec 2025 22:37:05
All the best Bowie, we know your secretly off to finish making all the toys, don't take out too many bricks on the chimney stack when dropping mine off. ?.
