To understate things - it's all a bit of a mess atm isn't it Reds?! I'm sure we'll pull through in a reasonable state at the end of it, but I just hate all of this turmoil. I can just imagine Big M smashing up a dressing room when he found out about the MGW situation and that ridiculous release clause. Whatever happens on the legal-front both of the players are gone - I must admit though, I'll miss Elanga much more than MGW. I also hate the fact that Simon Jordan predicted this whole situation arising perfectly and we, as a Club, did not have the same foresight. I also worry about which player is the next to be cherry-picked. All part of the roller coaster of being a Forest supporter I suppose.

Cracking post mate. I share your view. Drama seems to follow us around like a black dog, sometimes it washes over you. Sometimes it’s troubling, I agree completely that the risk of it happening seems reasonably obvious doesn’t it. For all we know though Forest may have been trying to get MGW to sign a new contract for months. I personally would have refused to see AE is that has made the dominos fall I think.

Good post like I've said before dontexpect loyalty as a fan, that's long gone.

Also frustrating Stars that there is so much obviously going on in the background, yet so little communication to the fans from our Club. A bit disrespectful, I'd suggest.

This is a very strange experience for me. For once, I actually agree with what Simon Jordan is currently saying about Forest.

I think SJ is actually a very astute operator mate and knows his stuff. What he says makes a lot of sense when you think it through ….
2.) 10 Jul 2025 17:55:29
Personally i like Jordan, talks sense 99% of time and talks straight, something people lack nowadays.
3.) 10 Jul 2025 18:22:31
Nuno will probably walk. Wouldnr blame him if he did!
4.) 10 Jul 2025 18:32:25
I totally agree with him that we're now in the danger-zone of the 'big boys' moving in to cherry-pick our best talent Stokey. I'm starting to think that Big M might have a (probable) misplaced belief in Edu being able to perform miracles in our recruitment - so is happy to cash in.

Recently there was a poll on here to vote for our 'unofficial player of the year'. I think I was the only poster on here to vote for Elanga.
Why? Because the guy excites us fans and rips our opponents apart. I haven't seen a Forest winger since John Robertson who is more exciting for the fans, and terrifying for opposition defenders, as Elanga.
I sat by the Man U goal with McGovern watching him attack - his pace and skill is awesome to behold at close range. The crowd roared whenever he got the ball and you could sense their defence panicking whenever Elanga attacked.
IMO Elanga is a must-keep player for Forest. I think it will be a massive mistake if we sell him.

I voted for Wood for obvious reasons but I agree about Elanga. The way we play he is so important. He had a great season and long may he continue in the garibaldi.
2.) 12 Jun 2025 12:36:26
I voted for Sels but it was neck and neck with many others!
3.) 12 Jun 2025 13:50:51
At the end of the day it's up to Elanga where he sees his future. Could see the appeal of playing for Newcastle for him along side his Swedish team mate Isak, but would hope he stays at Forest, where he's enjoyed playing his best football.
4.) 12 Jun 2025 19:52:48
I voted milenkovic purely because you could see his organisation of the defence, something that was previously lacking.
5.) 13 Jun 2025 16:47:48
Milenkovic and Sels got us to Europe, really.
6.) 15 Jun 2025 19:57:51
Yes really cyclist. Ride on. Keep to the left. That narrow lane you lot don't invest in.

So - Stokey goes on holiday, I go back into therapy and it all kicks-off on here?! I'm joking of course. It is, however, sad to see so much 'toxicity' on here as Ed1 rightly terms it. I think that as fellow-Reds it's worth remembering that we all sing off the same hymn-sheet; albeit in different accents and with some of us sometimes being 'out of tune' in the process! It's life.
A little message to Perko - thanks again for giving me a kick up the arse mate. Therapy exhausting, but going well. I'm feeling much stronger already. I appreciate it mate.

It's human nature to argue, disagree and voice your opinions even if you're all wrong.
2.) 04 Jun 2025 09:59:57
Don't worry Lego, no need for you to try and police us. Anyways we have EDs hovering over the big red ban button for that???.
3.) 04 Jun 2025 12:53:49
I have no idea whatsoever exactly what happened but I did see Skeggy Jay call Ed1 unintelligent or something which is the opposite of my opinion on how the Eds have dealth with what is obviously persistent toxic baiting of certain members for years now by Skeggy and Balloons.
For the record, I think they are genuinely decent blokes having a laugh but just take it too far and don't realise how irritating and/ or insulting some members find it. Some things can be funny but also out of order or plain rude.

I'm just 'coming out of retirement' to say that I thought we were by far the better team in the 1st half. 2nd half - mmm.
Overall though, what a brilliant season we've had Reds. We've defied both the odds and the pundits. I'm a very proud Red here as I hope you are as well.
Right, I'm off back to my padded-cell now and mental health counselling until next season.
Seriously, I thank you for your support in that regard.
Take care my fellow Reds and we'll chat again next season.
1.) 26 May 2025 11:56:53
Take care mate. I'll get over and meet you.
2.) 26 May 2025 19:11:48
Agreed Lego, I thought first half we played really well up to their penalty box. Second half after they scored it all got a bit frantic.

I couldn't agree with you more Stevie. I've posted many times before and will stick by my guns - this is a bad move on Forest's part. To address some other posts - let's, for a second, equate a professional footballer's job to a 'normal person's' job. We all bitch, moan and slag off our bosses behind their backs. It's human nature and I'm sure professional footballers do exactly the same as the rest of us.
However, the vast majority of us get on with our jobs and make a reasonable fist at it. Footballers do the same. I've seen little evidence of Elanga pushing for a move or being bitchy about Forest. OK he has mates at Newcastle but so what? I hope that I'm proved wrong, but I think this guy is special and will be very difficult to replace with someone of a similar standard, with PL experience, and within our price range.
07 Jul 2025 19:05:31
I wish I could have my legs slapped RV! I disagree with you mate - I think Elanga has come across as quite dignified during all this speculation about his future as he did last time-around. As I posted before - I think we'd be making a massive mistake selling him but none of us know the state of the Forest accounts. Maybe we need to? Who knows. I will say that we will need a divine miracle (maybe with Jesus's help. ) for us to find an equally talented winger at the right price who can quickly integrate into the PL/ our style of football.
