I had a long chat with my son-in-law earlier today who is a life-long Arsenal supporter (no, I've never really liked him. ). He thinks that we might beat them tomorrow! Arsenal's 'bogey team' as he put it. I agree with him.

Kinda agree mate, hoping for a positive result, maybe not the win but I'd definitely take a draw. We need to look after the ball better though. ?.

I've been reading all of your brilliant posts about potential cheating/ time wasting in football.
I've alluded to this recently Reds - but I think our great sport has been infected with an almost-accepted infection of cheating. This goes from the corruption of the top chiefs in football, to owners, managers, players and the leaches of support staff and agents. Unfortunately, the money-god has taken over our sport and, IMO, football itself is becoming a side-show which equates to the same principles of WWE wrestling. And those that suffer - the supporters.
I've supported Forest since attending the two legs of the cup tie between us and Bristol City as a kid all those years ago. That love of Forest will never die within me. However, I feel that all football club supporters are now totally exploited by a lot of greedy pigs with their noses in the trough.

Look at the gap between Forest and the relegation zone now Reds. The table certainly looks a lot better than before! I suppose that the result is all that matters - but even being an optimist I have some severe doubts after watching the game.
Jesus is awful. Anderson is knackered. Our wingers seem unwilling to take on anyone on the outside. Too many sideways and backwards passes. Also, did you notice how much SD was pointing forwards toward the West Ham goal? To me, that epitomised Forest players' lack of belief in themselves in attack.
I'll take the win quite happily though!

Jesus is decent. The coach is awful. A decent game plan and these players can do a job. We have the same team we had when we were second in the league, apart from Elanga.

Red cyclist but importantly lost 20 goals a season from wood,
3.) 07 Jan 2026 08:47:12
Also Aina who has only played the last 2 games under Dyche and isn't match sharp yet.
Sangare also not been available for last 5 matches and Yates the last few.
Serious lack of height and physical presence throughout the side at the moment.
4.) 07 Jan 2026 09:28:59
Wood has only got 20 goals in a season once in his career. We've definitely missed his goals, but prior to that his best tally was 16 and he normally gets a lot less.
Good sides don't rely on one player for goals. Someone scoring 15 or more would be great. But our midfield is so bad at chipping in.
The way Jesus plays, you need wingers and a box crashing CM to bang them in but they can't shoot.

Cyclist Yep wood has, and it was for us last season, so we are 20 goals light, and he also did it in a team with about 27% possession, I don’t get this obsession with Jesus he’s never been a goal scorer, when wood came to the club and wasn’t scoring he was getting dogs abuse ‘ all of a sudden people are talking about re jigging the team to fit around Jesus, a non scoring striker,

Good post Fred! ?????????.
06 Jan 2026 22:11:10
well. We ground-out that much-needed win in the end. Relief! Williams superb, Dominguez very good, Jesus awful and Anderson looks like he needs a break.
Happy Legolas.

2.) 06 Jan 2026 23:24:27

I know that we don't always see eye-to-eye DTP - but I'd buy you a pint tonight if I was up there.
06 Jan 2026 21:04:00
I don't usually post mid-match but, apart from our lack of 'bite', have you noticed that Anderson is marking their big striker at set pieces?
What a ridiculous situation.
19 Dec 2025 19:02:56
I'd hate to see Murillo go - but my gut feeling is that if an offer came in around £70-80M, and he wanted to go, Big M would let him go.
19 Dec 2025 18:54:06
I'd go with that Stokey. Hopefully, he has realised that 'the grass isn't always greener on the other side'. I reckon his heart is still with Forest.
22 Jan 2026 00:26:43
DTP - you seem to be the instigator/ agitator of most of the arguments and bitchiness on this site between posters. Stop trying to change the site? So that it remains your personal space to slag off anyone you want to? Personally, I think you really drag this site down.
21 Jan 2026 22:28:52
I refer to Ed1's post about this being the bitchiest site. C'mon guys.
21 Jan 2026 20:01:08
Agreed Stokey. And that goes back to my belief that we should be giving our best players from our Academy their next step-up in training and the opportunity to shine for us. After all, they're already used to the madness that is Forest!
21 Jan 2026 19:53:03
I totally agree with you Nuno.
19 Jan 2026 22:43:38
Fred - that's disingenuous about Taylor to say the least. I've been following this young man's progress for many years now. He's been very unlucky with injuries. However, given the right supply, I've seen enough of this guy as both a kid and a senior to know Taylor is a natural goal-scorer. How many of those do we have in the Forest first team at the moment?
Personally, I'd get him back and get him fit again. Then get him on the grass training with the 1st team and let SD cast his eye over him. I think the guy i'd a potential hidden-gem.
