Rumour:
Nuno open to reuniting with Wood in January, question is are we willing to slash the cash for a proper replacement? And when i say proper i mean a proven goal scorer. ?.

Rumour:
Forest along with West Ham and Spurs are considering a January move for 23-year-old Argentine striker Mateo Pellegrino who plays at Parma. ?.

RedRobinHood

1.) 02 Oct 2025 22:23:57
Pathetic, more strikers when we need to bolster our defense, just like Nuno said.

2.) 03 Oct 2025 00:35:20
Yep, just posting what i read, would definitely prefer a solid left back and decent back up on the right side. ?.

25 Aug 2025 11:24:31
Big Taiwo could be about to leave, Werder Bremen are interested in a loan to buy deal. ?.

RedRobinHood

1.) 25 Aug 2025 14:43:21
One of the strikers won't fit into the squad, realistically.

I might do a list to show what we can fit into the squad, if I get time in a bit. In Skeg with son roasting to death at the moment.

2.) 27 Aug 2025 03:52:00
Love T. A but a loan move seems to be best for all involved. If he has a good season away, it could Jack up the sell price coming into his final year.

18 Aug 2025 16:49:01
Reading football Italia and they are saying Douglas Luiz deal all but agreed, loan to buy deal with easily attainable conditions, 30 odd million buy out. ???.

Romano:

?? Douglas Luiz to Nottingham Forest, here we go! Deal now done for fee around €30m to Juventus.

Understand #NFFC are planning for the Brazilian to travel today destination UK if documents are exchanged in time.

Rumour-talksport

37.5 million fee agreed with Ipswich for Hutchinson.

???.

RedRobinHood

1.) 14 Aug 2025 21:30:25
And McAtee medical booked for tomorrow ???.

2.) 15 Aug 2025 03:15:27
With McAtee, Hutchinson and Anderson together the Banter between them will get that positive energy going we have been lacking, add MGW, CHO and Aina should be some changing room ?.

3.) 15 Aug 2025 11:58:02
Anyone else seen ITK Johnny ShoeShine saying Hutchinson medical not plain sailing due to concerns about separate thigh and knee issues but shouldn't be enough to scupper deal.

4.) 15 Aug 2025 15:51:45
Big fee. Isn't that more than Anderson cost?

Good news though in terms of the squad. It's going to take a while for Cuhna and Jesus to settle in most likely. Two players who have already experienced the Prem are gold for this season.

5.) 15 Aug 2025 18:22:15
Rediculous fee imo Cyclist, didn't think we'd go that high but he's English and our players seem to have premium price tags ?.

Good to see Ando saving his best pair of shooting boots for Saturday??.

RedRobinHood

1.) 14 Oct 2025 21:52:00
Remember the comments on here about Tuchel (and England) being useless? How many of us have learned the lesson about writing off players and managers?

Anderson still looks like he can't shoot. If he could just start putting the ball in the net then the sky is the limit.

2.) 14 Oct 2025 22:07:06
We haven't played anyone cyclist it would be like anges forest playing non league teams every week and saying he's done a good job ??.

3.) 15 Oct 2025 10:52:26
Oy Stellaboy. Don't knock Non league.

4.) 15 Oct 2025 11:48:15
Not knocking non league football, baldy, lol. I enjoy it I'm on about the gap between the teams.

14 Oct 2025 15:06:15
Just been reading about Marco Silva, apparently he has no intention of signing a new contract with Fulham, several clubs from Saudi Arabia and ourselves are tracking him.
It will cost 8 million to get him out of his contract early which to me is an expensive mistake from our hierarchy but heyho its not my money. He's definitely Mr M's preferred choice, makes you wonder why we didn't just go after him before giving Nuno a new contract, mercenary yes but that's football these days.
If we take a kickin Saturday lunchtime the toxicity from our own fans will be telling. I really hope we don't and I'd like to see Ange get it right because i love his style of football but the definitely need to be more a balanced approach.
I worry that we will become the Watford of the midlands and through a rediculously high turn over of managerial staff have absolutely zero continuity.

Fingers crossed for Saturday. ?
(it can be written in a non toxic and depressing way?)

I understand where your coming from RRH, but the supporters I believe have had enough and won't tolerate much more. have you seen any improvement with the last couple of games? I haven't but then I'm not a conicre like some. I found it interesting on the redevelopment of the ground, all very exciting but you can't move at half time at the back of the Trent end so where are the extra supporters supposed to go?. death trap as it is!.

2.) 14 Oct 2025 19:39:46
Last couple definitely not mate and your point about the City Ground is spot on. When there last season i thought the same and after going to Villa Park, with being a similar type of ground but improved and much better facilities and access i got an envious feeling. ?.

3.) 14 Oct 2025 20:08:29
If we are going to make a change of coach, Silva or someone of his calibre should be appointed. As for Silva's 8 million release clause, cheap at double the price if he got us competing for Europe instead of a relagation battle!.

4.) 14 Oct 2025 22:00:58
I think MR M should have found a more suitable site ( ladybay fields) comes to mind, plenty of space to build a new stadium without the restraints of where we are now. don't get me wrong l love the city ground but it's in the wrong place for what MR M wants to do. it will take years to complete, especially with the compulsory purchase of residential buildings around the ground, there will be appeals after appeals. I'd love to be proven wrong but I know how the legal system works.

Anyone watching the Northern Ireland game?
Young side playing with a lot of heart and energy. Our coaching staff should be taking note. ?.

RedRobinHood

1.) 11 Oct 2025 09:13:21
Yes, a great performance from the young N. Ireland team. What a fantastic second goal! On the volley lob over the keeper. The lads played with heart, fast pace and the closing down brilliant. But Slovakia were poor tonight, though that was mainly down to the NI team!

07 Oct 2025 11:13:19
Its official: Ange will be gone

Taking charge of team selection will be Munmad. (just for those who find it boring)

Pre game and half time talks with be given by Friday night Bowie. (vodka and orange juice refreshments)

Training ground daily fitness drills will be handed over to Lego. (hearing Mr M has given him a bullwip)

New head of recruitment and general press releases go to Cyclist. (shared duties with this site)

???.

RedRobinHood

1.) 07 Oct 2025 12:31:57
I'll look after the Ladeeeez team.
???.

2.) 07 Oct 2025 14:00:44
???.

3.) 07 Oct 2025 14:38:58
Yeah three more roles being confirmed.

Full control of the ladies team being handed to Rogie. (although no role specifically stated just we're giving him"the ladies")

Toilet command, bog seat repairs and Bingo caller goes to Skegs (you know you love it)

And a new role has been filled:Master of espionage and opposition anti moral officer goes to Ballons. (club are supplying him drones so he can still put the washing out)

???.

4.) 07 Oct 2025 16:27:54
How did ya get on with drinks etc around the toon winter? Ps now I've had a helping hand in bring8ng stokey back. Means we get get dad jokes to lift our spirits ??.

5.) 07 Oct 2025 17:07:18
Honestly mate it was really enjoyable, had a couple of drinks and a burger in bar52/ Th_nk or whatever its called pre match. We had tickets in the east stand, supposedly the neutral area (wearing a navy England rugby shirt) which was full of geordies, so i was quite most of the game lol. But all in all result not included a good day out. Do love drink and food prices in the north east. If this was down my way or in London i would have needed a second mortgage. ?.

6.) 07 Oct 2025 17:10:31
And of course the people are great up here mate, everyone was welcoming even after my neighbour kept telling them that i am a red??.

7.) 07 Oct 2025 17:56:42
Bless ya winter, glad you enjoyed bud ?.

8.) 07 Oct 2025 18:51:40
Rogie?.

9.) 07 Oct 2025 19:26:46
I like the sound of that job description Winter!

True story about the one and only time I visited Newcastle. I suppose this must have been about 20 years ago. I'd been at a sales meeting all day there and 5/ 6 of us at the meeting ended up getting out on the lash by the riverside. It was a superb night and I found all the locals very friendly and welcoming.

Towards the end of the evening we were at our final bar and I felt a tap on my lower back. I turned around and, in that split-second, I thought noone was there. I then looked down to see a 'little lady' stood there. She must have stood at the height of my belly button.

She was brilliant and we got on like a house on fire. After 10 minutes of chatting however, in my tipsy state I started to have 'Alan Partidge thoughts' flashing into my head. I couldn't stop thinking about a stand-up b*** job from her!

I think that she sensed this and the last thing I remember from my only night out in Newcastle is that 'little lady' saying to me "you're drunk - I'm going home".

10.) 07 Oct 2025 19:55:59
Tiny toon lego??.

05 Oct 2025 22:58:01
Couldn't tell in real time but that was 100% a foul on MGW for their opening goal, takes the p*ss VAR did nothing. ?.

RedRobinHood

1.) 05 Oct 2025 23:13:02
And adding to that, the elbow from the burnley lad, how isn't that a red? VAR is a fooking joke?.

2.) 06 Oct 2025 05:43:40
Never a foul. Guimaraes got the ball first.

3.) 06 Oct 2025 07:38:04
Wouldn't be Forest if we hadn't ridiculous decisions against us. MOTD never even mentioned it! ???.

4.) 06 Oct 2025 07:52:41
Add to that the foul in the build up to the Danish sides breakaway third goal.

5.) 06 Oct 2025 09:10:02
MOTD didn't mention it because it wasn't a foul. Not worth mentioning as it was nowhere near a foul.

6.) 06 Oct 2025 09:54:33
Agreed Ravers. No foul.

7.) 06 Oct 2025 10:02:22
Ravers, he may of got a touch on the ball but running through the back of a player is still a foul, i believe these days its called excessive force. Granted i'm all for more contact and proper tackles but nine times out of ten that's a foul. Just want some consistency from the officials, its not like they don't have two opportunities to make the correct decision what with VAR always being eager to interfere. ?.

Plus 40 million at least if he moves on, now a full England International and cost us around the 35 mark. Can't see him leaving for united at least not the red ones. ?.

If we were willing to throw £60 mill at the PSG lad, I'd be on the phone to palace and offer them the same for Mateta and Sarr. ?.

185 odd appearances 22 goals, 24 years old, played for Valencia, Mallorca and PSG in Europe. I reckon his wages would be huge and the price tag is massive for a player who has struggled to push his way into the PSG first team.

Think its a pass for me, but the lad must have something about him to even get the PSG squad. ???.

If you Google bbc radio Nottingham, they have most matches on and can listen via your browser. Then i connect my phone to the work van and happy days.
But yeah i pay for sky and TNT but only because i live so far away that making home games is stupidly hard nowadays. Often think i could get a season ticket for the price i pay for the sports subscriptions. ?.

I'd like to think we've moved on from most of them now, Spence being the exception but if i remember rightly he wasn't interested in a permanent move anyway.

If he's still not getting games at Arsenal maybe send Zinchenko back and get Lewis-Skelly instead for the second half of the season. ?.
