Probably just lazy journalism but we're supposedly after Gnonto from Leeds.
Whenever I've seen him play I've thought he's a right pain in the arsenal so it's a yes from me if it's true.

Simple fact is the so called Portuguese experiment wasn't a complete failure, everyone expected too much too soon from players who are slight and obviously not used to the championship, they should have been brought in gradually and not thrown to the lions, all three have played for better teams than us in benfica and Monaco and now Dias is going to play champions/ Europa league football, I am guessing we have missed out there just wasn't brought on well at FOREST and utilised properly.

Heanor Town, Hucknall Town, Newark Town, Carlton Town and Sherwood Colliery are all at home today.
Guaranteed good honest football and it's cheap as chips.

All three local teams represent our County and football wise for a relatively small county we, er doing brilliant at present and long may it continue.
In the past it’s been said we are not a true football county but attendances at all our club, s are proving this is now not the case.
Being born and bred I love my City and County and always wish our sports people and team’s success.

Well dove agent Carsley! ????I’m amazed that he would try an experiment like that with the national team. No striker and all his midfielders shoe horned in with no focal point. You could tell they were uncomfortable with it and disjointed. He was forced to admit his error and ended up with 2 strikers in a 442 rather than the 440 he started with.
This will certainly rule out any aspirations he might have had to be awarded the England job on a permanent basis. A gross error of judgement. I mean, he could have just made a phone call to Nuno and asked him how his similar experiment in the pre season game against Elche went. His reply would have been “ yeah we lost that one against poorer opposition too mate, don't do it, you’ll make yourself look daft and confuse the players “.
By the way the defending was Sunday League stuff and whoever has convinced Pickford he is a ball playing goalkeeper wants locking up….

As an alternative to sitting and watching Final score today, I can recommend some fantastic local non league matches this afternoon.
Carlton Town, Sherwood Colliery, Basford Utd, Worksop Town, Long Eaton Utd, Ilkeston Town are all at home today.
I'm going to Emley v North Feriby Utd in the Northern Premier league.
Always great value and some cracking football on show.

Absolutely gazz, when my son lived in Manchester l would go up for the weekend. Always go to see Salford city when they were non league, after they got promoted we would go over to Liverpool and watch marine. Cheep beer and great pies. there’s a lot to said about non league football, a lot of people are missing out.

Bowie I can compare them easily, Francis had an elite career at the top level, he was a superior striker, with a much better attitude than Stan, won multiple caps for his country, play abroad and was successful, perhaps someone can compare stans career and see where it’s better, but no one will convince me he was, he had about 3 good seasons, if that, a waste of a talent? Maybe, but the games full of those, all long forgotten,
