Some bloke called Jashari from Club Bruges has apparently turned us down because he wants to go to Milan.
Pity because if his first name is anything to go by, he would definitely be up to the job.

We seem to have a penchant for bidding for players who don't want to come. Have to hope at some stage we find somebody who does want to grace the CG.

2.) 13 Jul 2025 14:34:41
He could have stiff competition getting a game, the last thing we need is a flop, he looks confident, you could say cock sure of himself?.

23 Jun 2024 19:56:31
Probably just lazy journalism but we're supposedly after Gnonto from Leeds.
Whenever I've seen him play I've thought he's a right pain in the arsenal so it's a yes from me if it's true.

Gazzibaldi

1.) 24 Jun 2024 15:23:33
He’d be a good challenge to the already excellent wingers we have in CHO and Elanga. He looks fast and tricky when I’ve seen him for Leeds and Italy.
It’s a yes also from me provided it doesn’t cost us points under FFP.

2.) 24 Jun 2024 19:24:13
Not heard a dickie bird about the interest in CHO from Spurs and others, thought he would be gone after all the speculation.

02 Aug 2019 13:40:16
Cheer up guys. Just heard we have rectified our right back problem.
Alan Hutton. Four year contract. Same agent as Murphy apparantly.

5.) 02 Aug 2019 19:37:14

9.) 02 Aug 2019 21:50:51

10.) 02 Aug 2019 22:03:12

09 Mar 2019 23:18:43
Did anyone else see Milosevic feel his hamstring late on in the game. Hope it was only cramp.
Excellent defender. Brilliant positional awareness.

O’Neil really knew where our weakness was from day one didn’t he

2.) 10 Mar 2019 10:07:08
Wague can always step in, no problem.

29 Jan 2019 11:07:02

1.) 29 Jan 2019 11:20:53
I only read we'd offered 500k. Accepted?

2.) 29 Jan 2019 11:56:07
Might be out of contract in the summer

3.) 29 Jan 2019 12:48:49
Regular England youth international only 24 can play left back and centre back. Looks like we are covering Robinson. A pinch if only £500,000.

4.) 29 Jan 2019 13:45:29
Ex man u dross no thanks, look what happened when we had that Stewart from manutd admittedly many years ago but all he kept going on about was how they did things at old Trafford- I'm sure dj had a big fall out with him !

5.) 29 Jan 2019 14:16:05
This is just bizarre !

6.) 29 Jan 2019 16:20:26

7.) 29 Jan 2019 23:57:21

No football today?
Nothing can be further from the truth.
Loads of quality non league matches in your area.
Admission, pie and pint for £15 ish and guaranteed entertainment.
I'm off to a match in the Northern Premier league east division.
Emley v Ashington.
If you're going to a local match, enjoy.

Gazzibaldi

1.) 11 Oct 2025 18:24:34
So did you enjoy the match Gazzi mate?
Yes I did thanks Gazzi.
Very competitive, some great football played and 3 good goals.
Highly recommend non league Gazzi mate.
Cheers Gazzi.

2.) 11 Oct 2025 19:12:38
Don't be testy Gaz! I think it's brilliant that you're such a supporter of grass-roots football. I love watching Looe Town FC play btw. I think, if they were to attend, watching these non-league games could also remind the modern-day professionals of the ethos of football and their humble-origins, before their ridiculous salaries kicked-in.

3.) 11 Oct 2025 19:38:34
Looks like ange on way out but if we get Dyce I'm going to be a skegness Town fan and watch there football will be better.

4.) 11 Oct 2025 20:44:56
I think getting Dyche in on a temporary contract until the end of the season makes total sense Skegs. Our PL survival is surely paramount above any egotistical dreams Big M has of winning European silverware?

I'm no gambler, but I do like playing roulette on my very rare nights out nowadays with copious amounts of alcohol inside me (totally ignoring my GP's orders! ). I can't help but think about a roulette-analogy with our past and present managers at the table:

Nuno would be a 'hedge-better' - solely devoting a fraction of his chips to either red or black. Ange would stupidly put half of his chips on one number in the vain hope of an instant, huge return. No surprise - Nuno doubles his money and Ange loses half of his chips. Ange then copies what Nuno has just done - but can't help himself from betting the remainder of his chips on Red being the current Forest manager. Nuno bets on Black to reflect the way he has been treated by Forest. Lo and behold - Nuno doubles his money and Ange loses everything.

Just a bit of fun Reds, but hopefully you can interpret what I'm saying. I think Big M has made a massive mistake not only in sacking Nuno, but also in replacing him with an exact opposite. Us human beings naturally don't like change - especially radical change when it's not properly managed. This whole situation has definitely not been properly managed by our Owner. Ange is simply not the right fit for Forest and I think both parties realise that themselves.

I can just imagine Big M sitting there now contemplating how he can turn around his poor decision in order to spin it into a masterstroke of club Ownership. Good luck.

5.) 11 Oct 2025 21:08:21
What was the point of getting a attacking manager in to get a bloke in who parks buses for a living I give up nobody knows what there doing at this club edu out.

6.) 12 Oct 2025 07:14:39
Quite right Skeggy, strangest call ever.

05 Oct 2025 18:09:30
I feel sorry for 2tone.
Lost his £1 bet saying GW and Anderson would both have a shot on target.
Mind you, he was never really onto a winner there, was he.

Gazzibaldi

1.) 05 Oct 2025 18:57:09
I got some money back on Yates being booked ??.

28 Sep 2025 09:54:08
I'm not one for knee jerk reactions like some on here.
Win ecstasy, lose disaster.
Sometimes you can get real positives from a defeat and frustrations from victory but yesterday. now that was doom big time.
2 central defenders, one of which is dodgy at best and the other 8 outfield players bombing forward like headless chickens. Sels almost dribbled the ball to the half way line at one point.
I want to see possession, attacking football as much as anyone but not at the cost of organisation and some sort of plan.
As for commitment and passion, that was totally lacking too and that's every bit as bad.

19 Sep 2025 21:39:04
Something to discuss.
Who do you think was the best LOAN we had in the Cooper/ Nuno eras.
I think the worst was probably Lingard but not sure about the best. We've had some very good ones. Thoughts?

Gazzibaldi

1.) 19 Sep 2025 21:59:13
You in your local and its quuz night and need a quick answer? ???.

2.) 19 Sep 2025 22:00:12
Lingard wasn't a loan.

3.) 19 Sep 2025 22:04:35
Cant think of one that impressed recently Gazz, think I'd go all the way back to Kris Boyd. ?.

4.) 19 Sep 2025 22:08:03
Wait hang on i forgot Zinckernagel, loved him?.

5.) 19 Sep 2025 22:13:41
Spence would be a fair shout I think, lingard wasn’t a loan by the way,

6.) 19 Sep 2025 22:38:59
Was Felipe a loan? He was brilliant for us in the second half of that first season, him and the goalie who won all those champions league's probably kept us up that season.

7.) 19 Sep 2025 22:39:09
Lodi by miles.

8.) 20 Sep 2025 01:10:27
Sorry. Was thinking premier.

Forgot about Spence. He was brilliant for us.

We could do with him now especially as he has proved he is ambidextrous.

9.) 20 Sep 2025 10:20:21
Keylor Navas and Lodi kept us up in a way.

10.) 20 Sep 2025 10:29:58
James Garner. Unforgettable performance in Up Periscope!

11.) 20 Sep 2025 11:39:43
Nice one Fred.

12.) 20 Sep 2025 12:36:20
And The Rockford Files too Fred!

09 Sep 2025 12:57:56
I'm with the majority on here who think Nuno manufactured his own exit.
Got himself a tidy new contract then started his public rant.
He gets his pay off ( as he's done before) and costs the club millions
Thank you and Good bye.
I'm looking forward to Ange ball. More attacking high press football coupled with our fantastic defence could be the perfect fit.

Gazzibaldi

1.) 09 Sep 2025 13:58:40
I'm with you gazzi
Let's see what happens first.

2.) 09 Sep 2025 14:00:45
My view, why do we get the Spurs rejects ie Nuno and Ange. They then appoint a manager with great potential in Frank. Who knows if he will be successful or not. He has potentially a great pool of players to select from, so this Saturday we will see his thoughts on the side. I think we all saw this coming. Nuno got out of his depth, making some bad decisions latterly. There is no doubt he got players such as Wood playing at their full potential but then persisted with Sangare. However he sees the players not us training.
We move on, may be our next manager will be Frank!

3.) 09 Sep 2025 14:34:08
Oh, the only thing I'm taking credit for, is that my rumours were bang on the money yesterday and this morning. For once at least. ?.

4.) 09 Sep 2025 14:49:13
He was sacked the minute he spoke out
Don't need to be clueso to work that one out.

5.) 09 Sep 2025 14:51:19
Red cyclist yep quite a few of us watch Forest fan tv mate, you quote it virtually verbatim,

6.) 09 Sep 2025 15:48:08
I got the rumour of the betting website, Stevie and the other one off my news feed. Maybe they have the same news feed as me?

7.) 09 Sep 2025 15:49:13
You can normally see where I get my news from 'cos I mention it in the feed.

8.) 09 Sep 2025 17:38:57
News now shows it all anyway.

9.) 09 Sep 2025 18:19:19
NewsNow and a few bloggers with links inside Forest. The bookies seem to know what's going on. Certain Twitter/ X accounts and that's where the early rumours are.

If you're already working online and not busy it's something to do trying to get early rumours. I can't much in the day at the minute though as running 2 courses, but I enjoyed doing it over summer.

Great post that h2.
I'm a yad younger mate, first match 1968 and lucky enough to have a season ticket but I live in North Yorkshire and it takes over two hours to get to home matches. It's exhausting but I'll do until until I can't.
I'm with you entirely about TNT. I have sky but won't pay for anything else, not even radio. It's BBC for Christ's sake. We pay a licence already.
So it's home matches or Sky. I won't get to see us in Europe either unfortunately.
