As I've said before I think Ange is the wrong choice.
But like every new coach that comes in you have to give him time.
Hope I'm proved wrong. If he gets it right good but as you all know if he doesn't he will be gone.
At the moment all I can see is a season of struggle. We were very poor at times yesterday may be the weather had something to do with it. We should be beating sides like Burnley. let's see how we cope with Sunderland who are on a high with just getting promoted.

Burley pushed Liverpool so seem to be a decent side. I agree we didn't know what we were doing at times and there was little cohesion. Lots of variables but it was a little disappointing. Zinchencko looked way off the pace and was dominated. We really need speed at the back. Aina will be sorely missed I feel. We are short at the back now with Murillo and Aina give for a while, let's hope Morato steps up with more game time and this young kid can step up. We can't play a high line with no pace to defend, Ange will have to really think how to get the best out of bloody solid group of players. He needs time, I feel it will be rocky for a month or so, Europe will be his focus I feel with marankis driving it. He has the potential to take us to the next level or have a real struggle implementing what is expected in a short time with a lot of pressure.
21 Sep 2025 10:58:10
The right choice of coach is one who Edu and Marinakis want to work with. They need a coach who is committed to playing a style of football that they are recruiting off and who shares their philosophy.
The worst coach for Forest is one who Edu/ Marinakis don't share philosophy and plans with.
Edu and Marinakis think Ange Postecoglu shares their philosophy and plays the way that fits their recruitment strategy. It would be madness to do anything else.
21 Sep 2025 11:00:45
SYRED, if there wa little cohesion then why did we beat Burnley on EVERY METRIC? Why did we create so many chances? Why did we have so many more sucessful forward passes than the opposition?
Not the finished article, and the subs can be questioned on their timing and perhaps playing Kalimuendo out of position. But we lost on an individual error and poor finishing.
21 Sep 2025 11:20:00
They want ange to fail cyclist
They can't have watched the match to come up with silly conclusions
Like you say even the stats show how dominant we where
What stats don't show is a Burnley having a 5 man defence?
That is never easy to break down and if we'd of played nunos counter attack, would never have had a shot anyway.
21 Sep 2025 11:57:42
It's obvious some people just won't give the new coach a chance. A few wins might help.
The individual error thing is starting to get really annoying now. It's been happening all season. Apart from the first game, you can point to one or more individual error that's cost us the points.
Palace: Stupid flick while defending - MGW.
Swansea: Zinchenko error.
Sangare penalty.
Boly not clearing his zone with a header.
We'd be in the top 4, only lost to Arsenal and not moaning about Nuno and Ange if that hadn't happened (Nuno's tedious footy notwithstanding).
21 Sep 2025 12:18:29
I remember ange stats in premiere league last year plenty of shots possession. all good and well remind me where they finished in the league and as for edu arsenal are in a lot better place without him. and nuno would of won that game against a side that's just come up from the championship wait for the excuses Wednesday when we get thumped by betis.
21 Sep 2025 12:42:53
Balloons, I have to be honest Europa isn’t even something I’m thinking about, I wish we weren’t in it all, the circumstances of us being in it are just bringing us more unwanted attention, if we struggle as you predict then it’s Jsut more games for a losing mentality to cement.
Surely the only thing Forest should be worrying about is beating Sunderland, failure to that will see us in deep, deep trouble this season. We’re fast looking like a team with too much tuning needed.
21 Sep 2025 12:51:29
So hooydonk (skeg ) you do prefer park the bus after all that moaning you did when we played it?
21 Sep 2025 12:55:24
nuno has been losing most games since Man U on April 1st last year. Simple as. DO an ostritch impresison if you like but it's still true.
You're also ignoring the point. Marinakis and Edu run the club. To have an integrated way of running the club you have to have a coach who wants to work how they do. Nuno made it plain for eveyone, in public that he wasn't that coach.
So Marinakis and Edu have appointed a coach who agrees with them. Whether it's a good decision, time will tell. But no point appointing or sticking with someone who will work against them.
The otherr point is that nuno was on a downward trajectory and teams had his number which is why the bad results (3 wins in 13 games I think) started. So why stick with Nuno? There is no good reason to except to argue pointlessly with the owner.
21 Sep 2025 12:57:41
And exactly, DTP. You can't counter-attack a team who sit back like Burnley. That's exactly the way teams have been beating us since last April under Nuno. This is precisely why one-trick Nuno had to go.
21 Sep 2025 13:28:09
2 gold star if maranakis and edu wanted a man in charge to play there system there way with the players edu brings in and didn't think nuno could do it surely the sensible thing to do would of bought a new manager in the summer but then he wouldn't of got much work done with the new players as they would of been bought in to late in window all a bit crazy for me and everyone will be up for beating us angeball guaranteed to score against us no chance of sels getting golden glove this season.
21 Sep 2025 13:31:57
Some can't see that cyclist and why we needed to get a stronger squad
Really don't understand all the negativity on here.
21 Sep 2025 14:06:44
Its opinions dtp. some fans don't agree with you that's life pal and after the next 2 games there's going to be a lot more so I'd get use to it. I remember a certain few that have posted up above being negative all last season even though we got into Europe so pot kettle pal.
21 Sep 2025 14:22:10
Stop crying about Nuno. He was found out. He had a good half season or so then everyone realised all you have to do is sit back and his team had no way to win.
Marinakis and Edu saw the problem and recruited to solve it. Nuno threw the toys out of the pram and worked against the people who clearly saw what he couldn't see and also paid his wages. Try speaking in front of the press against your boss when you've only won one game in 13 or whatever it was.
The result is clearly pictured in my Avatar. See ya one-trick. RED CARD!
?✊?.
21 Sep 2025 14:26:29
Hooydonk I never said it was tedious, you called that system parking the bus not me,
21 Sep 2025 14:40:40
Cyclist great post,
21 Sep 2025 14:43:52
We had a manager that knew what he needed to make the team more successful for this long hard season the man got us into Europe and wanted better this season. but edu thought it would be better to change the system that got us into Europe so nuno for me done the right thing and said get on with it if you think you can do better let's see at the end of the season who was right nuno or edu my moneys on nuno pal like I said arsenal a lot better off without the bloke my dad's big arsenal fan he clapped when he left and laughed at me when he knew he was coming to forest lol and the kat 13 games you was on about injuries and a lot of tired legs pal and nit a decent squad to cover we beat Liverpool at anfield last season only team to take 4 points off them we got to Europe anyone at start of last season would of been happy with mid table so please a little less of your nonsense about the end of the season form best season we'd had in decades fact enjoy your Sunday dinner pal ?.
21 Sep 2025 14:48:55
The first 2 mentions of Nuno on this thread were by members of the Nuno out brigade (DTP and Cyclist).
Quite telling that they can't stop going on about him and seeds of doubt may be starting to creep in ?.
It will be very interesting if after 10 games they're talking about Nuno more than Ange which will tell it's own story.
As I've stated before I'll give any manager of Forest my full support and Ange is no exception.
He has a clean slate with me and there's no need to try and jump up his CV as they can be very misleading.
He managed one of the most successful J league sides and Celtic which would enhance even the most average of managers trophy cabinets (even Brendan Rodgers ?).
Let's stop slagging off Nuno and get behind Ange ?.
21 Sep 2025 14:50:53
Hi stevie I wondered when the 3rd muskateer would turn up lol.
21 Sep 2025 14:57:27
But seriously, most importantly, get behind the whole project.
Marinakis is putting his money where his mouth is.
Edu and Marinakis have a plan and Ange is part of it. Get behind all three of them and the team.
We are Nottingham Forest! COYR!
21 Sep 2025 15:21:07
Hooydonk not sure what you mean skegs I was quite happy with nuno but the bloke hit the self destruct button, I thought it was you that didn’t like ‘ park the bus, as you said about cooper he got us into the premier, we then needed an upgrade to push on, so maybe the owner who has put about half a billion into the club, thinks he’s employed a bloke who’s the next step up, having won a European trophy, his opinion trumps yours, as you ain’t put a penny piece in, in living memory,
21 Sep 2025 15:27:54
I'll second that Cyclist ?.
Exciting times ahead either way me thinks.
21 Sep 2025 16:37:55
Will take time for the team to settle, we will be a lot stronger in the 2nd half of the season once the squad has settled, got to remember forwards play a lot better when full of confidence and settled, defenders just need to be consistent and switched on fir 100 minutes, at moment a lot of disruption but things will get better, just need to grind out a couple of results. Was good to see us have a couple of shots from outside the box as well to mix things up.
21 Sep 2025 18:38:15
Fred I didn't want nuno to go
He chose to go
Decision was made and I'm a forest fan, seen plenty of managers come and go in my 68 years
It's those moaning about ange being in charge and predicting the worst?
Always be grateful to nuno and Cooper before him, but ange is coach now abd there is no point deciding he's already failed like some on here.
21 Sep 2025 19:09:24
You've never done that with a manager last one was nuno also sels In goal just saying dtp you obviously forget what you say must be your age pal and we're all entitled to our opinions.
21 Sep 2025 20:07:36
Sels I didn't like initially as he looked very iffy and still won't catch a ball from set pieces despite his size, that's something I don't like from a keeper
Great shot stopper and got a settled defence in front of him which helps.
22 Sep 2025 00:04:13
"He said, she said, they said" you guys sound like a bunch of schoolgirls.
Past is the past and we can't do anything to change it. Ange is our head coach now, you may or may not agree with Nuno going but there's nothing anyone can do to change that. Stop bloody bitching at each other its getting boring. ?.
22 Sep 2025 20:48:15
Well said Robin. It's got a lot worse since the East coast bent has returned. Just childish pathetic jibes. So boring.
23 Sep 2025 02:49:20
Yeah it takes two to tango or in this case five or six, others feeding into the narrative and deliberately bringing up past quotes. Honestly thought we all supported the same team. Clearly its not just international breaks when Lord of the Flies becomes common place on here. ?.
21 Sep 2025 08:49:10
My take on yesterday: green shoots of hope. Murillo will give us the pace at the back we need, zinchenko is ok for now, Luiz and Anderson will sow the midfield up, we have good wingers, and Jesus before Wood. I had us down for 2-2. Burnley under Parker can improve a lot. Our team is changing but will get better once the Nuno cloud has lifted. Have faith!

I for one am looking forward to seeing what Ange can bring to the table. I am excited with our squad and a good manager should bring out the best in them.
Come on you reds - let's have it!
21 Sep 2025 05:46:04
Quite a few positives to take from the game and hopefully we get a settled side soon.
I’m seeing a lot of criticism of Ange who’s only just been appointed so it’s pretty unfounded IMO.
I feel a few fans are slating him more to cause arguments than any other reason.
At the end of the day he’s here and needs to be given a chance.

Summary as I see it. We desperately needed a win and couldn't score two goals to secure a win against one of the poorest teams in the division who will probably be relegated. We started the second half with a 5 minute spell that was as bad as I've ever seen a Forest team defend, if it had been top half opposition it would have been game over. If Dan Ndoye believes his contribution today was good enough he is having a laugh. Didn't think Wood was as bad as some are saying but his miss in the first half may cost us a victory. Very concerned with Kalimuendo's finishing when he came on. We desperately need Murrillo and Aina back in the team before we play decent opposition. Positives: Luiz looks class, MGW better today but still short of his best, Zinchenko can shoot on target from distance.
Agree4
Disagree0
20 Sep 2025 23:26:14
Kalimuendo was played out of position. He is a striker, not a right-winger. But why is Kalimuendo missing a big concern, but Wood - who started - missing not something to be concerned about? Kalimuendo is finding his feet and being played out of position but has years to develop, Wood is a seasoned pro and supposedly warrants starting ahead of a guy who scored twice this week.
Agree with most of the rest, but looking classy is not end product. When Luiz didn't start that was the reason we weren't winning according to certain people. Well he's started the last two games.
20 Sep 2025 23:36:46
Agree bout Kali why play a cf out wide when you got 37mil winger sat on the bench
I'll be honest I can't relate one bit with ange, think big mistake. today he just stood there hood up no gesturing shouting or even moving. everything he says just s repeat of his spurs time.
21 Sep 2025 05:41:13
Have the players got enough bottle for a relegation battle?
21 Sep 2025 09:42:48

Good post mate, agree with woody looks like a fish out of water in this system, Jesus has to start next game. Canny plan for player mistakes as you said. Meltdown of the week?, i think I've got a couple of contenders for ya??.
20 Sep 2025 21:16:22
Not long back, shocking weather all day, m6 awful on way back, hope everyone else got back OK.
Really not sure of what to make of that looked decent at times and poor at others
Zinchenko worries me, OK when at city or the arse when barely has to defend but he was right mid and no.8 at times, he'll cost us more than he'll create
Luiz absolutely class can't wait til he can play 90
Wood miles off it bakwa the same, Milenkovic stil awesome and sure he played a 1 2 on edge of their box
Thought Hutchinson should have got a run out instead of callum
But my god that rain after was biblical.

20 Sep 2025 22:17:50
Seen some Ipswich fans at Services they well pissed off n still had about 4 hours to go!
20 Sep 2025 18:37:22
Yep, we’ll be ok DTP. Everyone, I know it’s been strange these last couple of weeks, but it’ll be ok. This wasn’t expected, but it’s happened, and we genuinely do have some good players in this squad. We will be ok.
Well, whatever happens, we’ll still be going/ supporting the mighty reds. No one can take that away. And take solace in that MR M has huge ambition for us. He won’t let us slide!
I genuinely believe we will end up having a good season. Problem is, society these days wants everything instant. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work like that!
We will be ok.

Instant it's took us decades to get stability back to get where we are in the Premier league and into Europe we just get settled and guess what a change of manager/ coach whatever but that's not the biggest problem if your going to get rid of a decent manager please upgrade him we have a manager now that took Tottenham to the lowest they've been in this league ok he won the uefa Cup against a poor man utd but unless we can score 3 or 4 goals a game we won't win a game because he doesn't know how to defend simples.
20 Sep 2025 19:31:35
Let's hope your right Arizona.
Today was a mixed bag. We did put a few nice moves together. However defensively we look one good ball away from being in trouble all game.
Obviously we missed Murrillo, but I am a bit concerned. With the strengthening we have done on the base of last seasons brilliant team. We should be beating, Burnley.
Two massive games coming up for different reasons.
Ange needs to get that W sooner rather than kater or the pressure will soon mount. I have my fingers crossed for him.
20 Sep 2025 20:26:29
Hooydonk strange thing with you skegs you and your oppo spent all coopers reign moaning about his ‘ park the bus “ tactics, then when nuno did it, it was ok, now you got a bloke trying to implement the style you wanted when cooper was in charge with basically a new squad, more possession, more attacking, now all of a sudden you don’t like it, what exactly do you want?
20 Sep 2025 20:39:17
We missed Aina too.
20 Sep 2025 20:42:27
Always admire you Arizona young man. take care ?.
20 Sep 2025 20:49:26
Hooydonk, I’m not saying I agree with the change, not at all. And with the ‘instant’ comment, all I meant was that when there is a new coach, instant results are expected.
20 Sep 2025 20:50:26
Good sensible post 67.
20 Sep 2025 21:48:35
I've always loved your posts Arizona and your upbeat outlook on things mate. I have also, personally, loved your support for me in the past when I've been doing stupid things to try to overcome the mental impact of my leg amputations.
For once, however, I'm going to challenge you. A hard-nosed comment, I know - but nowadays results are all that matter in football. Performances are quickly forgotten about, but results are etched in history.
The reality is that over our last two PL games, Forest can't beat two of the lower ranking clubs in the PL - including a 3-0 spanking at home. That's in addition to losing against a Championship side in the cup. After spending so much on new players, changing Manager (with no 'bounce-back' as most clubs get), little 'buzz' about our club from many supporters and (seemingly) players alike. Frankly, I'm finding it hard to remain positive about this season.
20 Sep 2025 23:18:26
Ange Postecoglu is Tottenham's most successful manager in 40 years. He took them to 5th in the league, won a European trophy and got them into the Champion's League.
They haven't had success like that in 40 years.
20 Sep 2025 23:31:59
Asia Title for Australia. Asian version of Champions League, loads of League titles in 3 continents, 5th in the Prem and a European Trophy.
What has Nuno won? The Saudi Super Cup, Saudi Championships and the 2nd division. That's your lot.
So an upgrade on Nuno is clearly in place. It might not work out, but Ange is no downgrade. Ange is a winner based on his record.
20 Sep 2025 23:50:12
Got to be honest cyclist i'm fairly excited by what I've seen so far, especially later in second half, patterns of play, counter pressing and committing players forward. Get the right player playing down the middle and we're almost there. Said from day one Jesus is that man. ?.
21 Sep 2025 06:19:57
Absolutely nothing wrong with being challenged Lego mate! Firstly though, thank you for your kind words!
In response to your post, I can’t argue with what you have written, but it kind of validates my point, that we want instant results whenever there is a change.
And I certainly agree that the ‘buzz’ has gone at the minute ( I don’t go to away games, so can’t comment on whether the buzz is still there away).
And hopefully, we will get some positive results etched in history very soon!
I still think we’ll be ok though ?
Take care buddy!
21 Sep 2025 06:22:29
And thanks Bowie mate. I hope you and the good lady are well and you’re enjoying your well deserved retirement sir!
20 Sep 2025 18:17:28
Really impressed with that performance
17 shots 8 on target
Luiz, Anderson and MGW look a perfect partnership in midfield, with MGW looking like himself again with no sangare slowing it down
Jesus looked sharp and zinchenko pure class
Onwards and upwards.

20 Sep 2025 18:41:15
Over the moon with a point away. Very relieved and hope we can push on from here.
20 Sep 2025 19:09:24
It took Liverpool 90 plus 8 mins to beat their 5 man defence, we played some good football against a 5 man defence and a goalkeeper on top formbowie
Not sure what you where watching through those vodka tinted glasses
When have you seen forest create so many chances?
Answer on a stamp.
20 Sep 2025 19:12:00
Bowie Burnley at home aren’t very poor at home at the moment, Liverpool took 95 mins to break them down, they beat Sunderland convincingly,
20 Sep 2025 19:57:55
Not the old push on from here stars, really that bad.
20 Sep 2025 20:15:59
Again no good creating chances if you can't put them in the back of the net. amd keep a clean sheet useless and only worse to come.
20 Sep 2025 20:34:05
That's because the scouse had a bad day stevie, we are having a lot more than one. And burnley played 5 at back. Bit more optimistic with us. Just saying not here to generate none stop wrongs. But just see the simple things on our football. Stevie you tell me what style of football we are playing now my friend, ? As in defence pushing forward to midfield (defensive/ attacking) and WHO is actually feeding the forwards. In the case today wood donkey/ mgw simples. Any of ya on here looking for simplicity are wrong. because big m the godfather wants it yesterday. Stevie i say what I see. Not what I want.
20 Sep 2025 20:43:17
Not going to lie Bowie, I’m very worried.
20 Sep 2025 22:07:46
Stars i hate these posts, just hurts, the ignorance of simplicity.
20 Sep 2025 23:43:35
Bowie the coach is trying to implement a more possession based game, which is the brief given to him by his boss, even the first couple of games under nuno we had more possession than last season, we were sussed towards the end of last season, and something new had to be tried, it’s the logical next step in the club’s progression, not sure why this needs pointing out to you, Murillo would have made a massive difference today. With his ability to pick a pass, whether this coach is successful, who knows? This way of playing won’t suit Chris wood as much, that’s obvious, but Hopefully kalemuendo and Jesus can chip in, and the new players in general will get used to the system and in most cases the premier league, it was never going to click immediately, we have two top class midfielders in Anderson and Luiz who need to get used to each other’s game, I’m not in the slightest worried about relegation, , we will improve game on game, but it could be a bumpy road,
21 Sep 2025 00:46:08
I'm not i'm the slightest worried about relegation stevie, and the rest of ya. What I asked was the formation. Or defensive wing backs, midfield? Is it attacking or defensive, and clueless final 3rd. Just simple passes mate. And where to find them. Ok I give wood a hard time, and mgw. But someone please explain our formation moving forward. because today I just seen a group of individuals. Clueless? Not a team. Just my opinion bud. ok you lot shouting out we need new ideas. But you need to back em up. ME cannot see a scorer beyond jesus, none of them mate. And tell me who's and How's the front going to get service. F kn joke we are. Stop trying to kid yourselves. I see the basics of football as you all do. Not here to sour, but love our club. Take it as ya want. way I am. FTID.
21 Sep 2025 11:33:06
How can you say "where's the service coming from?
That's clueless as there where 17 shots at goal on a rain soaked pitch against a 5 man defence and an inspired keeper that didn't have to make a save then? ???.
20 Sep 2025 18:01:54
Start with you chim, don't be going at sels, that really is desperate. Wood, mgw last few games obviously pathetic, BUT saying that I'd give mgw the best game yet it's a 3 from len on a Saturday ? reds, could anyone please tell me a formation or a way of each player having one clue what to do with the ball? Backwards for me. Really is, get out there and spread out football.
Looking at the pitch and rain, you'd think surely jesus can run on water. 1 point better than I expected tbh. Say what ya see. Wanna see those fingers. (My way of breaking through the ugliness of current football) laugh and the reds laugh with ya. FTID.

20 Sep 2025 18:27:01
His criticism of Sels is way off.
20 Sep 2025 18:48:14
This finger??
Way i see it, we actually played pretty well at times during the game, glaringly missing Murillo at the back.
Can see that Ange has been working on attacking patterns of play. Unfortunately and i really mean this i don't think Wood now fits the system which sucks because i think he's fantastic but not mobile enough. As i said from day one Jesus is beast and once settled with be a massive hit.
Well chuffed for Williams, deserves abit of praise.
Hard fought point away at a cold wet and miserable Turf Moor. Could be a whole lot worse. Onwards and upwards gentlemen. ?.
20 Sep 2025 18:56:44
Sorry 2 x points obviously ? really really really live this club outside my family and friends. Look at my posts next morning. Hate myself. But again. Football such a simple game made difficult with money. Yup same as. FTID.
20 Sep 2025 19:13:49
Williams who ya never wanted dtp? Now now be honest. Unbelievable cracker of a shot. Bobby Charlton ish. Well done williams. Class.
20 Sep 2025 20:35:33
Remember dtp just be careful.
20 Sep 2025 21:12:26
Yep, only two of our players look properly on form and Williams is one of them.
20 Sep 2025 21:53:21
Bowie cheer up man, leave DTP alone, i know he's a pain in the backside but he doesn't make the decisions at our club. And yes pot kettle black coming from me? but its reading like personal attacks. We're all a little disappointed with the results of late but there's no need to single one person out. ?.
20 Sep 2025 22:49:54
Well said winter, and tbh young man. Still have a lot of honest generosity to that lad. Brought me riches of honest sincerity, with this club. Along with the old timers carlo, and balloons. Know they clash as I do. But my. I could obviously add a lot more on here. Everyone mentioned, I luv ya all. And thank you. Xxxx.

So a point at Burnley, and lots of chances missed again! Poor defending again has cost us, plus an own goal to throw in the mix! Ange needs to lift the dressing room, it's all doom and gloom at the moment!

Doom and gloom on here too.
20 Sep 2025 17:04:57
Awful.
Poor decisions. Playing backwards in advanced positions. Wanting too long on the ball. Subs too late in the game.
The good?
Morato was much better.
Douglas Luiz
Williams.
Jesus.
Zinchenko (unfortunate with the attempted clearance)
Bakwa. Will be a big player for us.
The bad?
Sels. Lacking in so much confidence that it's unreal.
CHO. Never known such a 1-sided player. If it's not in his right foot, forget it. Anyone with an ounce of ability with their non-shooting foot could have crossed at least. Nope. Not CHO.
Sangaré. Why?
Wood. Totally awful. Has anyone got a worst 1st touch?
We played 'some' nice football, but that usually ended up with a misplaced pass, or going backwards
Poor result at the end of the day.
Too many of our lot cannot finish.
Telling that within the first 5 minutes Jesus has a shot on goal. Should have been on from the start instead of Wood. Cannot see Wood being anywhere near scoring so many goals this season.
We REALLY needed to win this. Now we're in a spot of bother for sure.
Thoughts on Ange? Not much. I hope Marinakis has kept Nuno's phone number because I'd be pretty tempted to get on the blower if this carries on.

I thought zinchrnko was awful error prone is an understatement we looked like team with no clear plan or strategy, mgw looks broken.
20 Sep 2025 17:45:45
Nuno to West ham I think good luck to the man. I'm sure West ham won't be worried about relegation if he goes there.
20 Sep 2025 17:45:56
Zinchenko couldn't have been awful mate.
Man City player of the year. 40 odd champions league appearances and 4 league titles.
At least he can shoot though. That's a real bonus for us of late!
20 Sep 2025 17:50:19
I actually thought it was promising, although woody can’t play in that system, you need a more mobile striker Jesus or kalemuendo, Murillo will be massive with his pace and passing range, an option we didn’t have today, the higher line scared the life out of me at times, but as I said will be better with Murillo, thought zinchenko was ok, decent on the ball but at fault for the goal, Bakwa non existent today, Luiz quality and another hour under his belt, Williams our best player for me, Ando was Ando, and MGW seemed brighter than of late, but we’ll see if we can play like that against the better more possession based teams. It will be interesting,
20 Sep 2025 17:53:18
How can you slaughter Wood like that?
Short memory you ask me mate.
20 Sep 2025 18:16:58
Wood was woeful. As our main striker it’s obvious I he is going to struggle in that formation and playing style. His days are numbered. He’s too slow in that set up. A tree trunk has a better first touch. Couldn’t get his head on anything today.
20 Sep 2025 18:19:23
Coz he's there well paid like the rest of em the diamond. The laddies done fck all for us lately. And deserves every negative sent pathetic.
20 Sep 2025 18:22:31
Sanagare is really under appreciated by our fan base it’s unbelievable.
20 Sep 2025 19:31:37
What an absolutely b***cks post Chim, Sels is top class.
Is there anything your happy with?
Jesus wept, i wouldn't wanna be stuck in a room with you, doom merchant extraordinaire. ?.
20 Sep 2025 20:07:36
Sangare played OK. Not sure why bring him on when we need a goal, but I'll moan about Ange's substitutions later.
On the other hand, Luiz looks tidy but the midfield weren't moving the ball quick enough.
If our No.10 can't shoot or assist, does anyone else think we might as well not bother and instead play a No. 6 (Anderson/ Dominguez/ Sangare depending on the game) and two No8s (from Luiz, Anderson, MGW, McAtee). So basically a 4:3:3 instead?
See above for better analysis and/ or my rant.
20 Sep 2025 20:47:18
Cyclist I agree, we need to move the ball much quicker if this possession based stuff is going to work,
20 Sep 2025 21:23:33
