All the rumours suggest that we will lose Gibbs White and Elanga in the transfer window

Not if we stick to our 150m valuation of the 2 olayers.

MUNMAD7980

1.) 15 Jun 2025 14:01:57
The last thing Nuno needs is sullan players at the club, if they want to leave get as much as we can, the team spirit we had last season has long avaporated!

2.) 18 Jun 2025 18:33:54
No idea about Elanga, but I doubt Gibbs-White wants to leave at this point.

03 Jun 2025 17:36:04
Danilo to Lyon 20m good business imo however with Dominguez's injury leaves us very light in midfield with only Anderson Yates and Sangare as CMs

Douglas Luis would be a great signing imo

Looks like Man City have decided MGW to expensive so only Arsenal circling now

Luis/ Sangare at 6 Anderson at 8 and MGW at 10 would be great with Yates as back up but need a Dominguez replacement

Jesus Cubinasa and Jair on their way but are they all staying at Forest?

MUNMAD7980

1.) 04 Jun 2025 13:06:26
Douglas Luis looks a great player. His wages will probably be huge though. I reckon they won't commit to massive wages for anyone until they have another striker sorted and know what we can afford after that.

02 Feb 2025 10:27:40
IF and it's a big IF Awoniyi can be turned round attitude and confidence wise we don't need to sign another striker imo

With Sangare and Danilo back it's like having two new players in the engine room

Great togetherness in the squad don't let's spoil it by signing a possible rotten apple.

MUNMAD7980

1.) 02 Feb 2025 18:43:24
We still do. If either striker gets injured we won't have an option on the bench. And Awoniyi yet to show enough to warrant a start.

31 Jan 2025 13:00:29
Heard from a good source 2 imminent signings Douglas Luis loan obligation to buy and Wissa permenant deal.

That would set us up nicely for a top 6 finish imo.

MUNMAD7980

1.) 31 Jan 2025 19:41:50
That would be an excellent boost Munmad, especially as Wissa can play winger and centre forward with the injury to CHO and wear and tear on Woody! ?.

2.) 01 Feb 2025 09:27:49
I’d be happy with them two MUNMAD.

26 Jan 2025 10:58:55
No 9 might be available this window in the Chris Wood mode Jean Mateta from Palace big strong physical good in the air

A natural target man not a winger no 10 or an AM does exactly what it says on the tin!

Goodbye and good luck Harry Toffelo never let this club down and a great ambassador for the club

Have a great career Harry you deserve it one of the good guys.

MUNMAD7980

1.) 09 Jun 2025 14:25:28
Yes good luck and thank you pick the right club make some money and further good memories ???.

2.) 09 Jun 2025 15:26:39
Wish him all the best, read that Rangers might have him?. I think he will be a big miss around the Club?.

3.) 09 Jun 2025 15:42:33
Both Harry and Lewis from Huddersfield look good prospects when they arrived upon our first promotion season.

I actually was more excited for their potential when I saw them both play - again both wanted to roll their sleeves up and win football matches.

In hindsight, had they stayed with Huddersfield, Huddersfield would not have dropped like a led balloon and it may have been the more sensible option for them.

It is a shame the Brazilian unknowns (who may or may not even speak English) will have the opportunity to play in a premier league team than these 2 players whom, when signed were hot properties - and did their apprenticeships in our domestic leagues.

4.) 09 Jun 2025 21:09:50
We signed the 2 best players from our play off rivals Huddersfield,

Let's be right, toff been good servant but hardly set the world alight and will have been renumerated accordingly, he's a good bloke with a good song. we still trying to shift o brien as well.

5.) 09 Jun 2025 21:47:40
Josh bowler was another that was a sought after championship player
That's toffolo and obrien level
The bottom line is we've moved on and they have to move on
They've been well paid as has Dennis and he'd had the benefit of playing premier league before we signed him
Unfortunately there is no room for sentiment in football
I was hoping awoniyi would come good again, he did so much to keep us up first season, but it's not looking like that will happen, so probably another to move on.

6.) 10 Jun 2025 04:08:40
The Belgium goalkeeper would have benefitted with the Forest defence in front of him ?.

7.) 10 Jun 2025 08:06:36
And the Forest defence have benefited from having Sels behind them?.

8.) 10 Jun 2025 09:34:02
Touche!.

07 Jun 2025 16:50:33
Can anyone explain to me wtf Jordan Henderson is doing in the England team! ???.

MUNMAD7980

1.) 07 Jun 2025 17:00:46
I know it's incredible.

2.) 07 Jun 2025 17:56:09
And Burn?.

3.) 07 Jun 2025 17:56:38
He's one for the future.

4.) 07 Jun 2025 17:59:55
I think Tuchel is having the wool pulled over his eyes by today's opposition!.

5.) 08 Jun 2025 02:59:42
Too Clever for most on here!

03 Jun 2025 09:22:08
Credit where credit is due I'm not a Man Utd fan in fact I have no time for them at all but Fernandes turning down a massive payday move to the Saudi league is great news for their club and also the Premier League as love him or hate him he's a very good player.

Well done Fernandes it's not all about the money LOYALTY is a massive thing?.

MUNMAD7980

1.) 03 Jun 2025 12:11:30
Yes agree Munmad - Fernandes best player in premier league. he's good to watch as he isn't a robot like many players these days.

Must have been tempting for him - on the other side of the scale my local team Farsley Celtic really struggling financially and still without a pitch.

2.) 03 Jun 2025 12:31:56
Adf. i'm not far from you then.
It was a long track to Buxton to play home games. No wonder they were relegated. Bit rough that they were demoted 3 divisions though.
I watch lots of non league when Forest are away or not playing on Saturday. Really enjoy it.

3.) 03 Jun 2025 21:04:40
Fernandes still looks like a ???.

4.) 04 Jun 2025 13:51:25
Gazzi - unfortunately - putting 2 + 2 together its going down the path of the land could be sold off for housing, doesn't look like the appetite from the owner or volunteer directors to rebuild a team is there.

01 Jun 2025 12:58:01
We need to solve a conundrum before next season namely how to beat teams who set up with a low block and look to hit us on the transition at the City Ground

These are the teams that will try and out Forest us at home imo

Sunderland
Leeds
Burnley
Evertonn

Brentford
Bournemouth
Palace
West Ham
Wolves
Brighton

10 teams there where we could potentially drop 20 points at home unless we develop a plan B and C against these lesser clubs

We do well against teams that come and attack us but a mirror image of us and we struggle

Maybe set up 3-4-3 against these teams with a high press.

MUNMAD7980

1.) 01 Jun 2025 16:47:35
Munmads predictions for next season. doom and gloom. doom and gloom I say. bring on next season better players and European football uredddddssssss Nuno nuno.

2.) 01 Jun 2025 17:24:39
If we had finished strongly and ended up 8th or 9th, there would be next to know criticisms on this side MM is just being realistic. This site is meant to be a banter site, not one where you are castigated for daring to say that all is not perfect. Nor does it mean as some say you are not a true supporter. Patently none of this group have stood in the Trent end.

3.) 01 Jun 2025 17:46:17
I have many times doc?

4.) 01 Jun 2025 17:54:59
Was actually the frank clark era, said before on here. Didn't miss that many home games with collymore/ roy, stayed at my old mates dad's house in derby. Bless him died to early fighting in wales, didn't have his inhaler as he suffered from asthma. With my ex with youngest. most games from trent end.

5.) 01 Jun 2025 19:18:39
Doc were in Europe lol anybody at the start of the season would never of predicted that not even Mr m so just be bloody happy.

6.) 01 Jun 2025 21:52:14
What is Nuno's plan B? Relegation?

7.) 01 Jun 2025 22:46:18
I've said it before
We play a brand of football that has been successful for olympiacos and we won't change direction from that
The coaches employed will all play the same way.

8.) 02 Jun 2025 11:47:24
Doc did you not post below "i don't care what anyone thinks"?
Then you moan about being castigated.
Lol make your mind up ???
???.

9.) 02 Jun 2025 11:56:09
And as for my predictions for next season.

I reckon both teams will start with 11 men, results will be either win, lose or draw

We will finish between 1st and 20th at the end of the season. Oh and it might rain on several match days?.

10.) 02 Jun 2025 13:18:07
And i have stood at the trent end many times thank you Doc, my uncle still lives on Henry Street.

But this s**t again, someone going on about going to more games gives them to right to talk absolute sh**e.

Unless its gone unnoticed by the superior supporters most of us on here don't live in Nottingham or Dirby.
???.

11.) 02 Jun 2025 18:13:15
Red snob winter bud. I hate it. I've been on this site years. Never replied, Never once would explain why? (Eds please just let me post this one ) only saying.

12.) 02 Jun 2025 18:50:51
Meh i think that's very polite bowie, I've definitely got better words??.

13.) 02 Jun 2025 19:01:20
I had to ????.

29 May 2025 09:36:28
ATM the spine of team Sels Milenkovic Anderson Wood is good but a injury to anyone of them would cause a problem

Look at the present squad what positions need an upgrade to provide adequate cover for a top 6 finish next season

GK Sels plus one
RB Aina Williams Moireia✔️
RCB Milenkovic Abbott?
LCB Murrilo Morato Bindon?
LB?
DM Sangare Yates?
CM Anderson Dominguez Danilo?
AM Gibbs White Sosa?
LW Hudson Odoi Jota?
CF Wood Awoniyi Taylor?

Looking at that we need a minimum of 7 signings without losing anyone busy window coming up.

MUNMAD7980

1.) 29 May 2025 11:03:10
How many of that squad would interest any top 6 team?

Aina, Williams, Milenkovic, Murrillo, Anderson, Gibbs White.

Keeping and Building more around these players would be my start point whilst working out which squad players to keep.

Releasing the right players and building on what we have is key.

2.) 29 May 2025 17:57:26
After the greek keeper for anderson carry on, we are surely as bent as the rest, but that's the problem nowadays with this site. Lot of ya can't handle the truth. I know and probably bollocking off dtp shortly. I like balloons, skegs, etc etc say what we think. Ok the mafia may wind you lot up more. But it's the realities of football. We have a Greek team to offload our also rans. Could go on. And yeah shoot me for giving my realities. In football I got to into this club. Clough/ taylor and in my last Heartbeats I will die doing so. Know nobody was squeaky clean. But man up and see it for taylors sake. Just saying.

3.) 29 May 2025 18:07:26
Sosa
Jota
Bowler
Dennis
Morata
Toffolo
Panzo
Richards
Hennessey
Obrien Nedd getting off the wage bill first
Then without offloading any first teamer need eight or nine minimum signatures to compete in Europe aswell
Nuno can't have a tight knit squad to compete in the premier, fa cup, league cup and Europe, so will be interesting.

4.) 29 May 2025 18:27:01
If only we could offload that lot so sweetly. Why you'd offload toffolo beats me. But I think that's because you called him out in past dtp. Can't handle being wrong. And. I'd actually hang onto jota. Far from worst player we've had. And good for bench. Dtp, we ain't established top 6, we've had a good season. ?

5.) 29 May 2025 18:27:19
There's a old saying Bowie, nobody gets anywhere by playing a straight ball. I'm sure most if not all prem clubs bowl a curved ball once in a while. Fair play to you.

6.) 29 May 2025 18:42:10
Thank you for manning up in the summer red vale my friend. So many snowflakes this time of year.

7.) 29 May 2025 18:48:23
Toffolo Bowie?
Hiw many times has nuno played him this season?
Do no point keeping him, two right backs are ahead of him for his position, nuno doesn't rate him or would play him.

8.) 29 May 2025 18:52:44
Who cares? Exactly Bowie, i couldn't care if our club was ordering hits on sky sports pundits?.
Manc C and Chelsea have built their clubs on being bent, if you get away with it and bring success long my it continue. I'll take the Europa Farmers cup next season and bring in three or four top class players to add to what we have. Left back, creative midfielder, another decent wide player and someone decent to back woody up. Cash in on MGW because i think he's already had his head turned, should bring in £70+Million, if we can sell some of the deadwood all the better, if not loan to buy all of them.

9.) 29 May 2025 18:57:19
Deadwood=
Bowler
Dennis
Panzo
Richards
Sosa (apparently lots of South American sides interested and maybe get our money back)
Keep Toffolo and Morato, Morato still being young enough to learn. And yes keep Jota, he offers something different and all in all his first season in English football wasn't that bad. ?.

10.) 29 May 2025 19:45:22
Your welcome Bowie I'm like you in keeping toffolo, I'd also keep sossa and jotta. The latter two need to step up for the prem but could do a good job in the conference. Don't see the point buying if you don't have to. but saying that we do need 5 or 6 new faces to freshen up a bit of a stale squad.

11.) 29 May 2025 22:57:42
Me and balloons love you to Bowie top man ?.

Uwe Rosler as new manager for me in the Jurgen Klopp mould high pressing attack minded and loves 4-3-3 was the founder of Brentfords style of play only 53 as well so not a fossil like CH.

I agree Stokey Rude Bellingham is a talent but he has an I’m better than you attitude to his team mates

You can tell by the body language that he is not popular with his team mates in particular Declan Rice who runs and runs and does most of the donkey work for the team

Real Madrid finished 2nd in La Liga and were knocked out of the Champions League is Rude Bellingham a rotten apple in the barrel in which case talented as he is get him gone

PSG are the definitive example of a team that as a young side have gelled together.
