Ronnie died last year, after football he got a job at Port Talbot steel works but still quite young had a massive stroke and spent the rest of his life in care. Played most of his football in top Div. West Brom, Coventry, Forest, regular international.

Can you imagine that today, footballers in a hot dirty steel works. They are all multi millionaires from that level.

Who needs corrie, when you've got a boat load of sackless persons writing rules week by week. They just don't give two flyers. And you know reds, it's all our faults for letting them do it. For me, it's like the government letting you retire. Each year goes up two years. You're going to need DNA from the Jurassic Park walking stick to get you one way on a bus. It's what it is.

Unlike the french etc. who actually fight for their pension age, we just lay down. Not that i can stand them. But man city, what does every fan from every club do? They just moan. I swear 🀬 this country is weak as p. and lays down to anything. Cmon, look at them coming in two by two. Anyway.

If every fan who goes week in week out decided to boycott a weekend of football it would certainly send a message. But can you imagine all those then available tickets going, all the fans who struggled to get tickets and could never get to a match would turn up in their droves. If the clubs also got wind of this they would probably make all those season ticket seats avaliable to the general public. It's just money money money it does my swede in. Most fans talk about how relentless and great city rather than the cheating fookers they really are. It might get mentioned in conversation but it will still be talk of Debruyne or Haaland or how they wish Guardiola was their coach. Sickening mate, we are just small fish fodder for all the big wigs, money boys and clubs with clout. Well done to Dortmund I hope they go on to win the champions league. Also great to see Leverkussen buck the trend, makes Festers achievement all the more remarkable as much as it pains to say.

I'm actually relieved that we can, at last, put this whole points debacle to bed and focus on the football again. What a waste of time, money and players' focus to even appeal in the first place. Thankfully, we know where we are now. No more bleating, no more whinging, no more excuses - it's time to fight now on the pitch for our PL survival.

The fact that the new panel have decided to uphold the punishment will this mean they will eventually punish the cheats Man City and Chelsea because they are setting a precedent across the board around 4 points per indiscretion City 114 x 4 points ha ha no chance they'll win another 4-5 premiership's before that happens. Fester are happy at the moment but are going to be hit next season also immediately not years from now. Get it sorted we are the laughing stock put Man City in the 1st Division get it done it will stop the problem's, cap the wages to even the squad's and send some of the the sky money down the leagues. Well the more suspicious of us will no doubt think the powers that be have it in for us. To be fair I was expecting a point or two back, which overall would have been reasonable. Indeed the even more incredulous of us will think that they waited to see what the latest round of results were before passing deliberation. Well if we get done by some ridiculous VAR decision in the next game or two and get relegated then there may be something in all this. It seems so contrived to me, very very odd and dare I say almost predictable.

I don’t like Nuno, in fact I think his stewardship of our club has been a huge mistake. But even I feel a little sorry for him- and also his staff and general employees at the club. For theirs is the human cost of relegation. People lose jobs.
Just a thought.

Never a better chance to kill off the relegation nerves than getting at least a point against Chelsea

That would kill off Burnley even if they pull off an unlikely victory away at Spurs and if Luton fail to win at West Ham them as well

We don't want to go to Burnley to get a point in the last match

COYR.

For me three signings we should make (and realistic ones since these players should be available and not off the affordable scale) :
Michail Antonio (we need a proven striker)
Gustavo Hamer (can shoot from midfield, score goals and bags of energy)
Djed Spence (pace, youth and loves this club)

Not sure if we need or can afford any more? Maybe a good striker if one available? Callum O'Hare as a gamble if price is right?
Plus we must keep Murrillo!

Agree1 0Disagree

07 May 2024 22:16:15
Antonio? Nooooo! Past it and knackered mate! Hamer a possibility but I saw him in a few televised Championship games for Coventry and was a bit hit and miss. I think Neco is better than Spence in many regards but it would be interesting to see them in competition for the right wing back slot.
Keeping Murillo is a no brainer! He will go far in the future, I just hope it’s with us.

Appeal dismissed, suprise suprise, never going to go our way once we beat Sheffield, we would be safe then with those points back, Everton safe so really no punishment for them, if we get safe ourselves then docking points is a waste of time, i recon a better way to punish a team is a money fine amount depending on the clubs resources, bet Luton and Burnley are smiling, ony way is to get something from Chelsea or Burnley or well be ok if L and B drop any points.
