I see there are many posts on here criticising Nuno for his perceived lack of passion, comparing him unfavourably with SC. I think this is unfair. When you think about the Master, Cloughie, it was very rare for him to jump out of the dug out. But when he did it had maximum effect. He spent most games sitting down, analysing, talking to his Assistant ( Taylor, Fenton etc). He certainly never patrolled the touchline and behaved like the drama queens of today. The greatest England manager Sir Alf hardly raised an eyebrow back in the day.
By the way, can anybody tell me what the role of the 4th official is, apart from to get earache every game from opposing coaches?

4th official is now used to keep the opposing coaches apart.
Coaches being animated on the touchline doesn't necessarily mean they care. Conversely, not being animated doesn't necessarily mean they don't care. Some people, however, think that it means exactly the opposite. It doesn't matter to me if the coach is jumping up and down, sitting down or just standing in one place. It means absolutely nothing at all.

Our leading coaches think that abusing the 4 th official and intimidating him will get the ref on side, they should be red carded and fined, their behaviour is totally unacceptable but according to Arteta they will continue to do.

Thanks Derby. Why don’t they just remove the 4th official, let the coaching teams at each other then sell tickets? ???.

Spot on Steve all 4 who were there were OAPs. But I did see the forest ladies having a walk about. I did mention to the office lad that was half of my pension gone on my ticket, he just looked straight through me, think he's heard it all before.
