Heard a strange rumour, now I've heard this same one from two different toon fans. So neves is off to saudi. Now when there they loan him to Newcastle, which keeps the toon fair play better the saudis pay his wages but the toon pay a loan fee? Don't get me wrong we probably do it with the olympiacos. But the whole thing stinks for me. Again just a rumour.

1.) 28 Jun 2023 13:02:32
Bowie I hope the Saudi league takes off and shrinks the stinking money available to the premier league.

2.) 28 Jun 2023 16:50:11
Keep your head on Rutland…….

3.) 30 Jun 2023 15:47:02
In the main, the Saudi league will be full of second-rate South Americans, greedy Africans and past-it Europeans, with one or two exceptions.

It was said in the 90's that the MLS would rock the football World, it was said in the 00's that China was going to buy all the World's best players. Now it's the Saudi's turn to fantasise about creating the World's number one league.

It will never, ever have the same gravitas as the big European leagues. It's just doesn't have the history or tradition and I doubt it ever will.

Wouldn't mind seeing Dennis move there for £20mil though. They can have Shelvey on a free too :)

4.) 30 Jun 2023 18:58:36
Always love your posts wonky son, keep em coming. Your knowledge is unreal at times. i remember a while ago saying you were unfortunate not to be able to get to games. Hopefully the change will come my friend. And your music background wasn't too bad too. Take care for now. Rutters you can't have any complaints on your golf with the summer greens mate. Hope you've enjoyed this green and pleasant land which so many of us take for granted. ??.

5.) 30 Jun 2023 20:37:05
Indeed bowie and the fishing has been fantastic too.

6.) 02 Jul 2023 10:47:54
Fishing. Now that is ? boring.

I called on rafa Benitez to be next forest manager. Just seen on forest site he's been talked about. ? told ya balloons ?

Bowiered3

1.) 05 Oct 2022 11:15:29
He wants Wolves not us sez it all.

26 Jul 2022 14:55:18
As i messed up with loan to buy. i'm old school i still think players have there studs checked for aluminium. Before the get on the pitch. Can someone please explain (pay as you play) surely this isn't as it comes over. How much does a player get if they don't get a game ED could you enlighten me please ?

Bowiered3

{Ed002's Note - Such contracts are rare and typical comprise a. a low base payment, b. an "availability" payment, c. an additional payment for being selected.}

1.) 27 Jul 2022 00:17:04
Pay to play gets mentioned a lot Bowie, but I honestly can't remember anyone being signed in the Prem (or anywhere) on this sort of deal for a long time now.

It was normally for players at the end of their career/ injury prone.

2.) 27 Jul 2022 10:39:16
Yea, pay-as-you-play is a bit old fashioned but I think what people mean is, they'd prefer to see a player like Ramsey offered a performanced-based deal, rather than a high basic wage every week.

So instead of offering him £100k a week, you might offer £50k a week, plus bonuses for appearances, goals, and team wins etc. which might total £100k if he's playing and performing.

No one wants a croc on the books at £100k a week.

Rumours on Newcastle wanting brennan for 50 million. Crazy not to . i know its only rumours but surely he's worth more than 20 mil.

Bowiered3

1.) 03 Apr 2022 17:18:04
Think it’s more that they want 50 miilion for maximon which would free up money for them to try and get Brennan. So not 50 million but would put the price up a certain amount 🤷🏻‍♂️.

2.) 04 Apr 2022 12:52:51
I think in Johnson and spence we have gold on our hands. I think, even if we fail to go up this season then Forest need to think bigger picture with holding on to Johnson and pushing the boat out to get spence. It’s around these two that building for the future will be massive for confidence and attracting the quality needed to maintain that big push.

3.) 14 Apr 2022 02:10:31
Without promotion we have zero chance of signing spence would need a bid of around 20 Mill we just don't have that money.

27 Jan 2022 08:28:48
Carvalho in for his medical today, good luck in the future, spending our cash.

Bowiered3

1.) 27 Jan 2022 18:24:03
I'm curious that we must have some attack minded players coming in as taylor and carvalho going out leaves us a little short if we pick up injuries and suspensions.

Remember wenger came from nowhere, changed the whole idea's of the game as a whole, with it's science. For me, and btw f ck off to all those hecklers. Say what ya see. Anyway took over a new era. Wenger could also see players outta position, henry exceptional. From winger to forward. And brought exceptional beliefs in his team as clough/ taylor did. Just approached it differently. This is what i want to see from the owner. For taylors sake you've gambled enough on players. Where did nuno come from? Your usual sh1t from people saying the fans want attacking football. It is football we want reds. But in an honest and horrible way if needs be. Like the old days. I know i know can't get away with it now. But just for me give someone with new ideas and most of all bring trust outta the players. Let them believe in themselves and club. Not the usual predictable sh1t.

Just had the takeaway guy at my door. he saw my Forest fleece, and basically said he hoped we stay up, and we've had the worst decisions against us he has ever known.
And he's a Liverpool fan. I said "Fair play mate. hope yous destroy them tonight"

{Ed025's Note - never trust a Liverpool fan Rogie, and have you checked if your car still has wheels mate?.. :)

2.) 24 Apr 2024 19:13:02
I couldn’t agree more Bowie. We need a manager who thinks outside the box, a leader of men and an inspiration to those around him. Sadly I don’t think Nuno is the answer, he’s not what we need at this time. In fact to be honest I think he’s been quite poor but no doubt the referee and VAR bias hasn’t helped him one bit.

3.) 24 Apr 2024 19:44:19
Vincent Company.

4.) 24 Apr 2024 19:59:34
Thing is for me froggy, it's easy to push forward mate. Any manager can do it. It's that mental thing they instill in the badge, grabbing the players respect and reminding them just how sh1t they are at times. Making them work hard for there place. Remember before our moans on VAR and officials, it was the coaching and injuries, which to be honest i could only agree with. The stats again told us so. Now it's set piece stats and one pen. Reds we really have a premier team that could well hold there own there. But if your going to keep bringing predictable football, then your going to get predictable scores.

5.) 24 Apr 2024 21:17:41
Have to agree Bowie. I’m really worried mate as we seem to be sleepwalking to relegation. And yes, the players need reminding just what an honour it is to pull on our Garibaldi.

6.) 24 Apr 2024 21:49:26
Good to have you back Bowie. I would love a new manager with passion and belief in our club - unlike Nuno. Not so sure that Vincent Company is the answer to our woes Pineapple. Either Clough or Psycho would be my ideal manager to take us forwards from wherever we end up next season.

7.) 24 Apr 2024 22:41:10
Love Pearce and Clough as players so let's leave the memories there legless.

8.) 24 Apr 2024 19:23:56
I did Ed, however I have a dodgy tummy now! ???.

{Ed025's Note - it will be all that humble pie you must be eating mate.. :)

9.) 24 Apr 2024 23:12:02
Disagree Skegs. Our club needs a massive injection of passion. Ex-players with management experience would bring a new lease of life I think.

10.) 24 Apr 2024 23:34:32
If you want that legless then you need a X forest player like Pearce to be a owner of our club or even a rich forest fan and that ain't happening sorry to say.

9k reds the game, sorry not you doc never once responded to me ?, before i go any further, gutted for mark robbins, i know a lot on here want nigel. And all the good things he's doing at Mansfield, but i swear reds. There's something about mark. As we know from his goal, fergie f kn jock bitch blah blah blah. But I'd give this young man a chance. But the question i ask myself is this. Can he stand up to big m and his son. because for me reds, this is something that we all know obviously goes with the job, and clough/ taylor never did. The midfield for me taday was none existent. But that was because of the formation. I just don't think nunos got it in him to be a premier manager. Said b4. You need pace going forward elanga, again comes on late on. Don't get me wrong, can't hit a barn f kn door. But pace poses problems. Better to defend in there final 3rd than our sad defending on set pieces. There mackum t#at showed the difference on a league. Pickford little arms. and how we miss maturity in goal. Nuno, ok he goes forward but his plan B leaves the players coming on with that. Ok ok even though ya got no faith, thanks for the run out feeling. The manager and players need the fans now more than anything, because it's the chants that bring you through that marathon of a season. Something to carry ya over the line. Luv ya all xxx.

1.) 21 Apr 2024 19:21:51
Sorry Bowie, I may answer later. my son who knows very little about football said to me "Dad? This seems to be happening to your team alot? "
Still angry.

2.) 21 Apr 2024 20:25:59
See where your coming from Bowie, I also like robins and Nigel. Think Nigel will stick with Mansfield. But let's look on the other side of things, should we go down and the prem and the fa seem hell bent on sending us down, a good clear out will come, but money will come in granted the piper has to be paid, should be enough left to bring in one or two. Like jedd Spence spurs are going to get rid at the end of the season. I think we should have enough to change again next season. no point looking back always look forward.

19 Apr 2024 23:40:29
Lets chew the toffees, should never be in this league to start with, scouse t#ats. Remind me of leeds for some reason. Full of front. BENT AS VAR. COYR. love this game. Love it's fans love the togetherness. Just like ta say. Our away fans have been more than amazing. Sure there going to be shouting from the rafters. Night reds. ❤ safe journeys to all. And most of all. Remember it's money these days, family and friends first. Xx.

In reply to carlo, and all others on here. Every home game is worth it's weight in gold. What you don't get in entertainment. You get the amazing atmosphere from the WFCG, east coast, gazz you will never throw the towel in on your tickets. It's in your blood now. And you know it. Btw i totally admire you both on your journeys. Hope you both got to good hobby if you do.
Said many times of coming off here. Boots don't do banter patches. Only ones that did work i stuck over my eyes so i couldn't text. Reds it's what we live for and always will.
As i post this I'm watching the bridge of lies. Wonder how many FA officials and owners, players, pundits, etc etc could make it across. The only truth in forest and most other clubs nowdays is the fans. When i say this i mean those fortunate to see games, and those unfortunate not too, or even can't afford it. I'd buy a season ticket in a heartbeat no matter what league, obviously if 8 lived a little closer. COYR. don't let money cloud your dreams. It's life.

Fantastic Post Bowie?.

2.) 18 Apr 2024 18:10:46
Wow! Love it Bowie.

3.) 18 Apr 2024 18:51:33
Stop crawling legless he's forgiven you now ???.

4.) 18 Apr 2024 20:19:44
Bowie it is Yoda you are mate. Wise words as always.

5.) 18 Apr 2024 20:24:34
Thank you for your concern regarding Bowie and me Balloons. I do, on occasions, have to crawl nowadays at times - but for very different reasons that you are suggesting here!

6.) 18 Apr 2024 21:22:06
Never think I'm holding any grudge on past legless. Luv all reds. And thank you sir.

7.) 18 Apr 2024 21:53:11
I know Bowie. You take care mate and keep posting!

Hope is praying for rain, but faith is bringing an umbrella. " "Once you choose hope, anything's possible. " "Faith is being sure of what we hope for, and certain of what we do not see. " "Some people cannot be cured, but everyone can heal. "
Froggy my friend keep your head up young man.
"Lifes about the loved ones in front of ya with truth and happiness,
Not guessing your passed dreams of history.
The game has changed so much these days.
All we can do young man is hope, hope for decent officials, VAR actually not sure what category they come under, wan##rs for me.
Ya know reds, the game was ours yesterday.
Lets not kid ourselves, all the time of being robbed etc.
Serious mistakes from top to bottom.
A good defender needs pride, passion and fitness, i say this because i worry sometimes how were a one half wonder. I think concentration goes out the door with fitness.
In fact, sorry we all know it.
BBC knackers giving wood a hard time yesterday. For what. Defending. He's been brilliant for us. And yeah could have scored more but, some of his finishes have been f kn clinical,
There's just so much hope in this team reds i swear, it makes me f kn well up. Just no luck. But I'm not going to complain. We've had ours with clough/ taylor and the mighty men with hearts of that era. COYR luv ya.

Great to see you posting again Bowie. I do love your passion.

2.) 15 Apr 2024 01:15:48
I have very little faith in football players or officials these days. But Wood has been a proper pro - I'm proud of him! We need more players like him.

3.) 15 Apr 2024 10:05:23
Thank you legless ?.

4.) 15 Apr 2024 10:33:27
Great to hear from you again mate.

5.) 15 Apr 2024 12:19:59
That's not passion legless that's the vodka talking that he picks up from his shoplifter for a fiver ??.

6.) 15 Apr 2024 17:29:08
Great to see you back in print Bowie mate! Stick with us for the roller coaster ride to come in the next few weeks! ?.

7.) 15 Apr 2024 21:35:50
It will certainly be 'emotional' Stokey! Only fitting for us frayed-nerved Reds supporters, once again.

Aa much as i admire your commitment east coast, and to the rest of ya on here giving a hard time to our response. It's natural instinct to throw your frustration out as a human being. Big M isn't some kind of terminator. He's human like the rest of us. And football when it can't be played throughout the stupid amounts of camera's and officials. Cannot get something so easy wrong. And your throwing stupid amounts of money trying to keep the fans hapoy. Then I'm afraid. So be it. Ok not saying he got it right but bye as lord sugar said. How hard it is to please them.
