Heard a strange rumour, now I've heard this same one from two different toon fans. So neves is off to saudi. Now when there they loan him to Newcastle, which keeps the toon fair play better the saudis pay his wages but the toon pay a loan fee? Don't get me wrong we probably do it with the olympiacos. But the whole thing stinks for me. Again just a rumour.

In the main, the Saudi league will be full of second-rate South Americans, greedy Africans and past-it Europeans, with one or two exceptions.
It was said in the 90's that the MLS would rock the football World, it was said in the 00's that China was going to buy all the World's best players. Now it's the Saudi's turn to fantasise about creating the World's number one league.
It will never, ever have the same gravitas as the big European leagues. It's just doesn't have the history or tradition and I doubt it ever will.
Wouldn't mind seeing Dennis move there for £20mil though. They can have Shelvey on a free too :)

As i messed up with loan to buy. i'm old school i still think players have there studs checked for aluminium. Before the get on the pitch. Pay to play gets mentioned a lot Bowie, but I honestly can't remember anyone being signed in the Prem (or anywhere) on this sort of deal for a long time now.
It was normally for players at the end of their career/ injury prone.

Yea, pay-as-you-play is a bit old fashioned but I think what people mean is, they'd prefer to see a player like Ramsey offered a performanced-based deal, rather than a high basic wage every week.
So instead of offering him £100k a week, you might offer £50k a week, plus bonuses for appearances, goals, and team wins etc. which might total £100k if he's playing and performing.
No one wants a croc on the books at £100k a week.

I think in Johnson and spence we have gold on our hands. I think, even if we fail to go up this season then Forest need to think bigger picture with holding on to Johnson and pushing the boat out to get spence. It’s around these two that building for the future will be massive for confidence and attracting the quality needed to maintain that big push.

More than comfortable, soaring in confidence. YATES, there's ONLY ONE RYAN YATES. motm for me, bleeds the club. Why shouldn't we want him to do well? Abbot great game but again, down to our coaching, shoots like his old man (russ) hudson for me had his best game for a long time. Not going to go on and on, but for me reds, since dyche has took over the reigns, (remember I was 1st to shout for him and struck down ??) he's brought the team to believe in each other as a team. Reds we ain't got an out an out goalscorer noe, but a team.
For me, that's more appreciated for the defence, rather than midfield / forward. Don't get me wrong reds. I'm more than happy with the dyche train to freedom. But we all got to get behind the laddie and his way forward. May not look the best, FOR NOW, but he really has the the players believing, now big M, just fu ck off out the way please sir. And let everyone start believing again. Love your input as much as dyche young man. But we need as a club to jus5 breathe. Just my opinion.

Great post Bowie as usual, dyche, as you say has got the whole squad believing in their selves and more importantly each other. Sunday's game won't be so easy and I don't expect to see us put 7 past them this time, all I want is the 3 points.

I bye no means pulling dyche down retty, but will point out (what I think, and remember personal opinion, ) on the players. Although hang on, yeah manager owner etc etc do get it. But what I'm trying to say is, these players, the money they make a week could feed third world families for a year.
So when I see laziness, or head in the clouds I say what I see (wanna see them fingers) again it's the belly of premiership that we fill, yet the heart is starved. Banter as we keep saying on here. I'm never going to change. Some of these need a rocket up there arses. Some work overtime. Just my opinion ?.

And neither do most of em. I was keep saying on live chat. No player putting a foot on the ball especially after umpteen shots 1st quarter. No pattern after that.
Again as I've mentioned. Sels probably played more balls than any, and you can't stand the laddie. Dtp stop trying to hide from the fact we were sh ite, because we were.
