Who needs corrie, when you've got a boat load of sackless persons writing rules week by week. They just don't give two flyers. And you know reds, it's all our faults for letting them do it. For me, it's like the government letting you retire. Each year goes up two years. You're going to need DNA from the Jurassic Park walking stick to get you one way on a bus. It's what it is.

Unlike the french etc. who actually fight for their pension age, we just lay down. Not that i can stand them. But man city, what does every fan from every club do? They just moan. I swear ? this country is weak as p. and lays down to anything. Cmon, look at them coming in two by two. Anyway.

If every fan who goes week in week out decided to boycott a weekend of football it would certainly send a message. But can you imagine all those then available tickets going, all the fans who struggled to get tickets and could never get to a match would turn up in their droves. If the clubs also got wind of this they would probably make all those season ticket seats avaliable to the general public. It's just money money money it does my swede in. Most fans talk about how relentless and great city rather than the cheating fookers they really are. It might get mentioned in conversation but it will still be talk of Debruyne or Haaland or how they wish Guardiola was their coach. Sickening mate, we are just small fish fodder for all the big wigs, money boys and clubs with clout. Well done to Dortmund I hope they go on to win the champions league. Also great to see Leverkussen buck the trend, makes Festers achievement all the more remarkable as much as it pains to say.

I'm actually relieved that we can, at last, put this whole points debacle to bed and focus on the football again. What a waste of time, money and players' focus to even appeal in the first place. Thankfully, we know where we are now. No more bleating, no more whinging, no more excuses - it's time to fight now on the pitch for our PL survival.

The refs, VAR Luton fans and the FFP brigade have all done their best to scupper us. Well they can foxtrot oscar! It'll all be over by 5 on Saturday.

08 May 2024 07:35:08
The fact that the new panel have decided to uphold the punishment will this mean they will eventually punish the cheats Man City and Chelsea because they are setting a precedent across the board around 4 points per indiscretion City 114 x 4 points ha ha no chance they'll win another 4-5 premiership's before that happens. Fester are happy at the moment but are going to be hit next season also immediately not years from now. Get it sorted we are the laughing stock put Man City in the 1st Division get it done it will stop the problem's, cap the wages to even the squad's and send some of the the sky money down the leagues. Yes Yes I know NO CHANCE ???.

08 May 2024 08:44:07
You can but dream jester ??.

08 May 2024 11:30:25
That's what the response is trying to tell us Legless! They are saying "Why did you bother? " They are also having a belly laugh down at HQ. We were just splitting hairs over language thay say. Semantics! You couldn't find anything to appeal against, Forest! Your money you are spending Mr M. You were trying to sound like government lawyers. ha ha.

08 May 2024 22:49:25
I get it Norfolk. However, I think it's time to put it all to bed now and move on.

07 May 2024 21:30:12
And btw if we can't get a point at burnley, f ck it, let the big man sleep on an empty wallet, deserves it,

Spot on Bowie. Fed up with reading about it, debating it and using it as an excuse for a championship standard team. Its Marinakas's fault for employing incompetents and letting his son meddle in something he knows nothing about.
Have a Gyros, a pint of Mythos and suck it up and get on with planning nect season big man ?.

08 May 2024 14:27:07
Red balloons the current Forest team would win the championship by 10+ points, if you think the current team is championship standard, then you know nothing about football,

08 May 2024 14:56:48
Balloons still stuck in the sixties and seventies, just look at his posts about the old songs
Football changed and players got rich when bosman won his court case.
It won't change because its world wide problem
American football, basketball, baseball, golf, tennis where paying mega bucks way before footballers earnt theirs.

Afternoon Stevie. Beautiful day in Skegness. What the weather like in Clifton mate ain't strolled down Farnborough Rd for years ??.

08 May 2024 15:27:19
Hey DTP, you got your Baywatch bikini on today? my little princess ??.

08 May 2024 15:34:15
Balloons, the weather in Clifton is lovely mate, you’ll be happy to know I’m moving to Bridgford soon, one minute walk from the city ground, ?you shouldn’t walk up farnborough road mate, I always take a lovely walk up to Ruddington and back everyday, much nicer,

08 May 2024 15:59:17
Bloody that's a bit posh Stevie. Bread and Lard land. Enjoy mate. ??.

08 May 2024 21:38:42
Balloons ??.

08 May 2024 21:40:09
Balloons I’ve checked, they do let some toe rags in ?.

08 May 2024 22:53:09
Totally agree DTP - sad, but true.

07 May 2024 21:15:17
Our situation is way above what happens on the actual pitch.

Well the more suspicious of us will no doubt think the powers that be have it in for us. To be fair I was expecting a point or two back, which overall would have been reasonable. Indeed the even more incredulous of us will think that they waited to see what the latest round of results were before passing deliberation. Well if we get done by some ridiculous VAR decision in the next game or two and get relegated then there may be something in all this. It seems so contrived to me, very very odd and dare I say almost predictable.

I don’t like Nuno, in fact I think his stewardship of our club has been a huge mistake. But even I feel a little sorry for him- and also his staff and general employees at the club. For theirs is the human cost of relegation. People lose jobs.
Just a thought.

07 May 2024 21:28:53
Are you sure you don't like Nuno ????.

07 May 2024 21:44:15
Very true redfrog, people forget actions of individuals have consequences for others. If we go down because of some dodgy decision from the establishment good people will be let go, through no fault of their own. Don't seem right to me.

08 May 2024 09:27:38
Completely agree Red Vale mate.

Skegs now let me think ?

That’s it took less than 0.1 seconds…… yes I can confirm Nuno out ?.

08 May 2024 09:50:29
If he keeps us up he will stay ?.

08 May 2024 15:31:43
Hope not Skegs, he runs you a close second to the prized “clueless clump” of the year and it’s only May!

07 May 2024 19:26:28
Never a better chance to kill off the relegation nerves than getting at least a point against Chelsea

That would kill off Burnley even if they pull off an unlikely victory away at Spurs and if Luton fail to win at West Ham them as well

We don't want to go to Burnley to get a point in the last match

For me three signings we should make (and realistic ones since these players should be available and not off the affordable scale) :
Michail Antonio (we need a proven striker)
Gustavo Hamer (can shoot from midfield, score goals and bags of energy)
Djed Spence (pace, youth and loves this club)

Not sure if we need or can afford any more? Maybe a good striker if one available? Callum O'Hare as a gamble if price is right?
Plus we must keep Murrillo!

Agree1 Disagree0

07 May 2024 22:16:15
Antonio? Nooooo! Past it and knackered mate! Hamer a possibility but I saw him in a few televised Championship games for Coventry and was a bit hit and miss. I think Neco is better than Spence in many regards but it would be interesting to see them in competition for the right wing back slot.
Keeping Murillo is a no brainer! He will go far in the future, I just hope it’s with us.

07 May 2024 15:54:25
CHO and Willy named in team of the week, great recognition, well done boys!

Appeal dismissed, suprise suprise, never going to go our way once we beat Sheffield, we would be safe then with those points back, Everton safe so really no punishment for them, if we get safe ourselves then docking points is a waste of time, i recon a better way to punish a team is a money fine amount depending on the clubs resources, bet Luton and Burnley are smiling, ony way is to get something from Chelsea or Burnley or well be ok if L and B drop any points.

07 May 2024 14:05:25
Would definitely sign Brereton Diaz and harmer. Both look quality and would be great squad players. Like Adebayo from Luton too. Keep Tavares?

Agree3 Disagree0

07 May 2024 15:02:11
Hamer and Adebayo are good shouts I think Bereton Diaz has had his chance. The problem getting a striker who will knock in 10-15 a season but also be aware be iinjury free ie give us a complete season. I guess that’s asking the impossible.

07 May 2024 15:02:51
Harmer decent Brereton no some bad blood there also showed in the way he celebrated his goal in front of our fans.

07 May 2024 13:12:48
Who are these faceless unelected morons who have sat on their arses for weeks to finally come back to the original unjust penalty.
It oh so just stinks!

07 May 2024 15:05:31
Should never have wasted time and money appealing unless we were safe. Never going to give us points back if it relegated 2 teams. Relegation always going to be decided on the pitch.

07 May 2024 15:42:52
Cig bit of a contradiction there mate, how is it decided on the pitch if we go down because of a 4point deduction?

07 May 2024 15:59:11
Nottingham Forest have now found out that the judge in this case was a Luton Town fan and the club are now considering their next steps.

07 May 2024 18:36:20
lol ?…….

07 May 2024 22:29:34
Mr Wolves ( from a Forest fan in peace and with a mate in Stafford who lives and breathes Wolves) so must admit the statement from our hierarchy after the Everton game was embarrassing and will be used for all eternity as a stick to beat us with ( and rightly so).

Wolves chose the path of righteous (my mate tells me) by selling your best players to balance the FFP books (Neves, Collins, Coady etc) and it cost you a great coach in Lopetqui who abandoned ship.

However it’s looking to have been the right decision. We would be safe now ( and free from ridicule) if our owners had followed your course. So good luck for next season ( except against us of course if we are still in the Prem which I strongly believe we will be).
Meanwhile have a great summer ……??????.

07 May 2024 23:18:57
Boooooooo wolves fan you missing your Messiah Nuno come to a decent club now ?.

08 May 2024 00:39:40
Fair enough Stevie, realise how that sounds I meant if we got points back today, relegation decided the powers that be will see it as unfair and would rather see teams win lose or draw to stay up or go down. The emotions of fans before and after a game if you stay up go down is what I meant. ???.

08 May 2024 09:28:24
Cig?.

07 May 2024 11:23:13
So Premier league bottled it. By not giving us any points back.
Is that so they don't upset Burnley and Luton. Corrupt as he'll.

Agree3 Disagree0

07 May 2024 12:14:01
I was surprised we didn’t get at least a point back, especially as Everton only got 2 points for a repeat ( and much bigger) breach. But perhaps I shouldn’t have been so naive. Supposed to be an Independent tribunal but clearly not. I guess they want a nail biting finale to the season too and bottom of the League plus they want rid of us for rocking the boat this season.
I’m sure VAR and the officials will be gearing up for Burnley and Luton at the weekend.
On the plus side, we now know we have to do it the hard way. If I were Nuno i'd be using this set back to fire up the troops to play with massive ( but controlled) aggression against Chelsea and play with a cold fury at the injustice of it all! Coyr!

07 May 2024 12:34:12
It will go down to the Burnley game couldn't see man city getting a point against Chelsea at the minute the way there playing a premier League dream to see everything go down to the last day dodgy f-----s.

07 May 2024 12:34:49
Prem and the fa see the relegation battle more exciting than the top, cheating city and co. All eyes on us for the next two weeks. Love us to one over Chelsea and shove the comments down those washed up x footballers come pundits throats.

07 May 2024 12:40:40
They don’t care who goes down stokey but they’re hell bent on creating their over the top coverage of final day jeopardy, giving us points back would mean there is no last day relegation jeopardy and there is just no way sky will allow that to happen, the PL and the FA will have Been pulled into line by sky - 100%.

I honestly don’t think they care who goes down it’s all about creating the drama on the last game.

07 May 2024 12:45:14
Very well put Stokey! I’m glad you had posted before me, because my post may well have been more asterisks than words! Independent my ‘arris!

07 May 2024 14:25:38
I actually never thought that 2 Stars, very good point, as long as they get the punters glued to it.

07 May 2024 16:17:28
We need to take that away from them and deliver a stunning result against Chelsea stuff Luton and Burnley if they're where they are they're not good enough end of if we fail then we can blame the club for their bad management.

07 May 2024 18:38:04
In one jester mate - we shouldn’t even be in this situation and the bottom of the league should already be decided. It’s our own fault.
