Just a few thoughts regarding Saturday.
Both Spurs and West Ham can be a bit flakey but I'm hoping, firstly, the Hammers can do us a good turn in their last home game of the season and give David Moyes, for all his faults, a good send off and secondly for Spurs to put Burnley out of their misery and fight for a European football place.
Depending on these results, we should be wary of the threat Chelsea pose at the moment and we don't want our 11 and 17 goal difference eroding if we lose. We've seen them put 6 past Everton and 5 past West Ham in recent weeks. I think I'd be detailing Yates to shadow Cole Palmer through whom everything comes. I read somewhere that he's played 30 Premiership games, scored 21 goals and 9 assists which is some record. Plus they have a very expensively assembled young squad which, unfortunately for us, is coming together under Poch just in time for Saturday!

Despite being the eternal optimist nowadays Stokey, I'd be thrilled and amazed if we even get a draw against them.

I agree they really are playing some great football.
However If we can defend well and frustrate them hopefully they will implode.

Legless mate, a point would be pure gold and enough to keep us up. The nightmare scenario would be for Luton to nick a point at West Ham and us having to go to Burnley needing a win or draw.
But I predict (tin hat on here) Spurs 3 Burnley 0
West Ham 3 Luton 1
Forest 2 Chelsea 3, but we’ll all be pi**ed and in the Trent with Yatesy long before then!?

My prediction Luton 1-1 with var helping Luton Burnley lose 3 nil forest lose 3-1 it will go to final game the bigwigs up above have not got involved most of our season with var points etc for it not to go down to the last game.

Fair enough Legless. If Yates can nullify Cole Palmer we have a good chance.
I remember back in the early days of Cloughies reign when we played Arsenal All Stars at the City Ground. First half Liam Brady ran the show completely and we went in 1 nil down at HT, second best by a long way.
For all the Masters braggadocio about “ Here at Forest we don't worry about our opponents, we let them worry about us” at the start of the 2nd he put Martin O Neill tight on Brady and, with his tremendous engine, he just ran him into the ground and we won 2 v 1.
Of course we lost MONs threat on the right side of midfield but everything came through Robbo on the other side anyway! Tactical genius as always! ???.
