Anyone else finding it amusing that the face of Sure's World Cup advert, that is everywhere on TV atm, is the one and only 'Cole Left At Home Palmer', especially since he's taking a penalty. Didn't he miss his last one? ??

04 Jun 2026 20:13:08
You'd rather World Cup Willie Winter?
04 Jun 2026 20:33:55
The ad that gets to me is the one with the clown Bellingham, all his money, and he's got a face like a smacked arse.
04 Jun 2026 22:00:26
I've got a World Cup Willie Bowie. ??
04 Jun 2026 22:15:38
? This year, due to the adverse weather conditions in the Americas, it's sunburned, dehydrated and a little limp. An insertion of Viagra is needed. Or I could be describing Jordan Henderson's first training session over there. ?
04 Jun 2026 22:54:59
Tbh, taking Ivan Toney is a joke.
04 Jun 2026 22:57:03
?? Hang in there.
04 Jun 2026 23:32:30
Be like the balls on a moose: hang loose!
04 Jun 2026 19:50:43
I actually hate it all. Nothing but spotlight on Anderson, as if the rest done nothing. Don't get me wrong; done more than enough for us since arrival. But not many see the player, just £££££ signs. To bring another load of guesses. Don't care who or how good they were. (Will they fit in) I know I know, goes with the game. But my. How I'd love to keep our strength. Sels, Aina, Milenkovic, Murrilo, Williams, mgw, Woods, Jesus. Yup, still got hope in Woods and Jesus, time to grow.
Woods just a wizard. Bakwa still hope for Morato the same. Mcatee (not so sure reds) Sangare played ok beginning of season but tailed off a little for me. Hutchinson needs a f kn ro ket up his wrongun. Just doesn't get enough decent balls in and bottles on shooting. Probably forgot a few. As I'm trying to whip through my thoughts of last season. Oh hang on. Taiwo showed great spirit on his return. What happens, benched bless him. Good for bench though. Anyway, just my opinion.

Pretty good assessment, mate.
Hoping Hutchinson, Sangare, and Bakwa move up another level now.
Time will tell.
04 Jun 2026 20:19:38
There's a player in Ndoye.
Scored another cracker for Switzerland, but playing more as second striker.
Are we playing him wrong out on the wing?
04 Jun 2026 20:21:57
I said Taiwo late on in season. I personally think he should have had a better run out. As the rest were very tired, bless em. But Vitor is doing a brilliant job for me. Looks up for it on sidelines. And I think he really does think he's got the lads believing in him.
04 Jun 2026 20:29:56
That's the thing, Bowie.
Dyche decided not to play Taiwo, Bakwa, Cunha, and a few others.
It's been a breath of fresh air seeing Vitor give every single player a chance, and you could see the confidence in the side.
04 Jun 2026 20:32:12
Could be right, dtp. As for mgw, I don't know if any agree. Brilliant player for us. But he cannot help himself (like on a free role); he loses his role as the number 10, and wingers ain't got as much to feed to. Again, my opinion.
04 Jun 2026 20:39:15
Scored plenty of goals under Vitor.
He found a way to get MGW scoring, and the whole side, tbh.
Very unlucky not to get more points, with the decisions against Fulham at home, Liverpool at home, and Man Utd away.
04 Jun 2026 22:28:04
I tend to agree, Bowie. Keep as many of the good ones as possible, and spend most of our money on a striker and winger or two.
Jarrod Bowen is good, but I reckon he'll go to a Champions League club and only start 20 games.
04 Jun 2026 22:48:51
Not a fan of Bowen, Cyclist.
He disappears for long periods during games, and is 30 now.
The Forest way is to sign young players with a sell-on, and Bowen doesn't fit that criteria.
So that won't happen for me.
04 Jun 2026 23:00:35
Cyclist, I said Bowen about a month ago. But, hands up, I did ask for Sean Dyche. ?
04 Jun 2026 23:03:58
I disagree dtp, I'd play Bowen more up front with Jesus or Woods.
04 Jun 2026 23:08:48
Nah mate, not for me.
It won't happen anyway tbh.
Got a feeling he'll stick with West Ham and his father-in-law, Danny.
04 Jun 2026 23:32:40
Cannot stand his father-in-law, wouldn't last two minutes here. Swear, ya can tell he's a complete person. Now, Vinnie Jones on Netflix. I loved it. Good old days. ?
04 Jun 2026 19:30:41
So Citeh are considering legal action against Real Madrid (or someone linked with) for using Haaland's name on a RM shirt.
It wouldn't surprise me if the proposed case is fast forwarded and they win it.

I see we are signing every player in the world that is available, perhaps we should just give Ando a pay rise.

115 charges.
If just One can be proven then that should be actioned appropriately.
That leaves 114 charges and again if another can be proven it should be actioned appropriately... and so on and so on as time goes by.
As for a price for Anderson? If he wants to leave then £115m please.

04 Jun 2026 17:30:59
And to think we were docked points because a proposed transfer didn't go through in time.
04 Jun 2026 17:42:32
Two tier justice, plays out in many walks of life these days. ?
04 Jun 2026 20:14:53
What gets me is that most of the players and the coach have applied for PIP. ? Just wrong.
04 Jun 2026 20:24:27
Been found guilty, the Premier seem frightened to announce it, probably due to the severity that it will entail.
A year ago Pep said he would stay even if City were relegated to League Two, as long as the club were being honest with him and they'd done nothing wrong.
Well, he decided to leave.
04 Jun 2026 20:37:59
Put the t##ts in Scottish 3rd division i say.
04 Jun 2026 22:09:01
Originally I said they should be docked 1 point for each charge if found guilty. I take that back now. It should be 3 points a charge for time taken and any advantages they have gained in the time being. ?
04 Jun 2026 22:51:14
FIFA found them guilty years ago, and they were fined and had a smaller squad for the Champions League as "punishment"?
04 Jun 2026 22:53:27
Transfer embargo would hurt them more than anything else.
04 Jun 2026 23:10:36
Man City was the only ground I've ever been thrown out of and banned from during my earlier Geordie years. ?? Couldn't find my mates. Total headf***. Ended up with the psychos on the yard, against them. I just ran for it. ? Had to beg my money back home.
04 Jun 2026 07:40:20
If we are to lose Anderson to City this year (hopefully not) why not ask for 100mil and Rico Lewis with a big sell on clause or $$ if they win the league or Champions League? We should learn to start wearing the pants in these negotiations rather than wearing a skirt with no underwear.

At last a post about football. Yep, we should screw these arrogant, cheating parasites for every last penny. The so-called big 5 are a scourge on the game. Every time a player has a couple of good seasons, they are hovering around.
Hope City eventually get their comeuppance. One positive for next season is we won't have to see Guardiola spitting all over the place on the sidelines.
04 Jun 2026 08:36:36
I think it's a dangerous time for players to sign for City, they don't know the outcome of the 115 charges yet.
I personally think they should have a transfer embargo put on them, plus points deduction.
04 Jun 2026 08:45:06
I'm pretty sure agents dealing with City will be asking to insert a clause into the players' contracts allowing them to leave if any sanctions mean their careers suffer.
It could be a legal minefield. I hope it comes to that as well.
Total corruption, in my opinion.
04 Jun 2026 09:35:01
I think also the Premier League should have suspended any transfer activity pending the outcome.
04 Jun 2026 12:05:27
Anderson's price tag should be well over £100 million.
04 Jun 2026 12:09:59
Bsered, apparently the big man has said 115 million or see you later, the irony of that figure. ?
04 Jun 2026 00:14:11
So City's first bid has been rejected. Would love to know how much it was. I have a feeling we have the most expensive English player in history sitting our squad. Rice was 105 mill and is record. If they really, really want him they had better sell more Oil in Abu Dhabi because our Greek mafia boss ain't no pushover. ?️?

City bid £80m for Anderson.
Mr Marinakis has already quoted £100m plus a massive sell-on clause.
We don't need to sell for FFP.
03 Jun 2026 18:59:45
After last night's 'antics', I feel the need to send a new post (positively) about Skegs. The guy is a total enigma to me which is why I find him so interesting. One minute a post with extremely harsh comments/ humour, and the next post being the peace-making 'voice of reason'. He must be a Gemini star sign!
I'll liase with McGovern to get a ticket for a home game early next season. I'd love to meet up with as many posters on here as possible at the TBI beforehand to have a couple of beers together.

This is one specially for Bowie: I know you treasure the pic of Kuntze.
the Lead character in ROOTS by Arthur Hailey was Kunta Kinte. Ufuk is a common Arabic name. A mate of mine in London knew someone called Ufuk Kunta. 'nuff said.

A village in Austria has changed it's name to Fugging after the long suffering residents got fed up with the jokes about it's former name Fuc49ing! I'd upload the sign but not sure how the Eds feel about it. I will try?
03 Jun 2026 13:52:36
Classic watch bsered, bud. Remember it well. ?
03 Jun 2026 16:12:46
There's a village in Southern Germany, close to the ski area - it's called W***!!! I wouldn't want to live there. ???
03 Jun 2026 15:37:44
@Come on Ed, it's only a road sign. ?
{Ed033's Note - This is not a road sign picture site.
03 Jun 2026 17:29:53
The one in South Germany is actually a mountain, I think. We thought it was a town...
03 Jun 2026 20:27:26
I've got a picture from Wales, two of my friends and myself stood in front of the sign for 'Three Cocks'. ??
03 Jun 2026 21:20:38
I once stayed at "The Cock Inn" just outside Ashbourne.
03 Jun 2026 21:25:45
There's a hamlet/tiny village in Essex called 'Fingringhoe', ironic. ?
03 Jun 2026 23:19:44
Vance with a W is in Southern Germany!
Plus, near Wellingborough, there is a street called Bell End lol close to Doc Martin's Ltd Office lol.
03 Jun 2026 23:23:23
It is Ed???
We drive you round the "Bend" mate!!
???
03 Jun 2026 23:34:57
ED???
I think you'll have to tell the lads in a "Roundabout" way!!
???
04 Jun 2026 13:28:00
Hey Rogie
There's only "One Way" this will go mate!
It's either the Eds way or the "Highway"
The lads will have to "cone" centrate on something else ????

Newsflash Jordan Henderson injured in training. MGW was first reserve, but they wanted a like replacement. Apparently beaches are being scoured looking for a 35 year old crab!
