Rumour is we are putting B team out tonight.

If true. Wrong move.

Confidence. Winning mentality trumps all this resting physically and mentally lark.

If Morato starts its total disrespect to all who have spent hard earned cash to travel to Denmark.

Agree3 Disagree0

19 Mar 2026 05:49:10
Im not sure on that 67. I don't think Mr M will let him. It could be a ploy. If they do, like u said, every fan that turns up wants a full refund. Unless, of course, the B team can do something the A team can't and win. ?

19 Mar 2026 06:14:37
No use saving our better players for Sunday - on last night's showing, Spurs will beat us anyway. They look a completely different team after their draw at Liverpool.
It's just so sad how this season is ending, sleepwalking under a clueless manager towards the Championship.
I feel really sorry for the fans who have travelled, it's a hard enough watch on TV.

19 Mar 2026 08:47:56
Hey RedFrog, why feel sorry for the fans that travel?

I would say those are real fans, and go no matter how the team is playing.

Surely, if they didn’t want to go, they wouldn’t.

Good on them for travelling and backing the boys.

19 Mar 2026 09:42:38
It doesn't make them a real fan. ?? It means they have the time, the money to enjoy what they want to do. I would love to go to the pub 2 or 3 times a week, but one, I don't have the money to do that, and two, I don't get the time.

So this "real fan" business people keep sprouting is a load of crap, and if you say they enjoy wasting their time and money on watching some of the crap that's served up, that's their problem, not mine. I don't feel sorry for them. ?

19 Mar 2026 10:24:17
Nailed it, Skegs. ? I'm sure 99% of posters here would love to attend every game, be it home or away. Unfortunately, your average fan can't afford it, spare the time, or be able to travel thousands of miles each season. ?

19 Mar 2026 11:02:59
So Skegs you are basically jealous that the real fans can attend and you can't?

19 Mar 2026 11:19:32
Where does his post indicate that he's jealous? Oh, it doesn't!!!. ?

19 Mar 2026 11:48:23
Rrh, Pineapple hasn't posted much on here since Nuno left. He was one of the fans complaining that he was not good enough, and that football wasn't exciting. So, it about says it all with his knowledge. And, to answer your question, Pineapple, no mate, I'm more excited about sitting in my recliner, paying nothing to see my team play, getting the best view in the house with a crate of beer that cost me 15 quid and a nice chicken gyros for 7.50 on order from my takeaway delivered to my door, no queuing.

Why am I jealous. ? ? ?

19 Mar 2026 11:53:29
Spot on, Skegs, makes sense to me. ?

19 Mar 2026 11:28:55
No he's indicating he'd like to be a alcoholic but hasn't the time or money to do it Facts matter ???

19 Mar 2026 12:23:13
Jester. ? ?

19 Mar 2026 13:00:19
I can't remember ever slagging Nuno off in fact the only manager I have criticised was Dyche after backing him at the beginning of his time in charge.

I guess we will never see eye to eye Skegs so let's just leave it at that we obviously have a totally different out look on life which is perfectly fine. You and the rest of the circle jerk crew can continue slapping each other back and whatever else you get up to.

19 Mar 2026 13:45:32
Now then Pineapple, my friend, you're right for once. We definitely do have a different outlook on life.

19 Mar 2026 13:34:40
Circle Jerk crew? Rich coming from someone using a racist outdated caricature as his username. ?

19 Mar 2026 14:53:28
It's what makes the world go around. Good luck to the few that can and do get to every single game, and to everyone who gets tickets when they can. We're all Forest fans, rich, poor, and indifferent. Let's not forget that.

19 Mar 2026 15:44:21
Not sure what's racist about it RRH saying someone's hair cut resembles a pineapple, please explain maybe you see something different?

Don't worry I'm sure your crew will be along soon with more fake outrage.

19 Mar 2026 16:30:44
Considering that David Baddiel publicly apologised to Jason Lee over his part in the ordeal, and all their production team had to go through diversity training. Surely you are not as simple as you are making yourself sound? I'll leave it to you to think about and decide. ?

19 Mar 2026 16:52:05
Could you clarify the meaning of "Crew"?
I understand that there is no crew in the typical sense. Rather, it seems to refer to individual perspectives or viewpoints.
Everyone has different opinions, some good, some bad and some ridiculous.
We're all here to support the club we love.
That's the one thing we have in common. ??

19 Mar 2026 16:58:13
I've thought about it and I'm not racist because of my username.

You still haven't explained to me why mocking someone's hairstyle is racist. Please can you tell me, because, like you say, I'm a bit simple to understand.

You remind me of Keir Starmer at PMQs.

19 Mar 2026 17:19:10
Hi Red in Ripley if only we were all here to support the club we love.

Crew refers to a few on here who for some reason like to gloat when the team isn't getting the results we all would like and they tend to big each other up.

Hopefully you don't need circle jerk explaining to you because I don't think it would get by the Edds.

19 Mar 2026 17:29:57
I suppose mocking dreadlocks and an actor painting himself black isn't racist at all?
Funny if I remind you of Starmer because you are making yourself sound like Jim Davidson. ?

19 Mar 2026 17:35:17
Thanks Pineapple. ?

19 Mar 2026 17:47:50
Nope, I actually don't think it's racist, tbh.

But I am thinking of changing it to Pizza Crouch. Would that be acceptable for you, RRH?

19 Mar 2026 17:55:23
Do whatever you like, i was just pointing out how the modern world looks distastefully at such things. Can't really blame you for being stuck in the 1960s. Anyways game to watch, enjoy Pineapple Davidson. ?

19 Mar 2026 18:52:41
Maybe, stuck in the 90s when life was much better and people's opinions weren't formed by 30 second memes and sound bites.

18 Mar 2026 22:12:54
Got to agree with Larry, the fan base needs to shout out for something better than the funeral march of Mull of Kintyre. its totally crap. ?. Noddy Holder "Come on feel the noise. Forest are our boys., we just can't score. any more.

Agree2 Disagree0

18 Mar 2026 23:20:28
Retty, there is nothing wrong with Mull of Kintyre. It is a great Forest song, and just about every fan sings it.
It's what's happening on the pitch that's more akin to a funeral march.

18 Mar 2026 23:25:41
Well said Gazz. ? ?

19 Mar 2026 01:37:03
Reminds us all of 1978.

19 Mar 2026 05:28:12
Mull of Kintyre was pinched off Charlton Athletic. Mist rolling him from the Thames, etc.
Typical Forest, just like in the transfer market, picking up everyone's scraps.
Take a leaf out of the Darts scrap book. When a player walks to the oche, the crowd are fired up and bouncing with the noise.
Knowing Forest, they would probably pick "We'll Meet Again" by Vera Lynn. ??

19 Mar 2026 05:54:04
Forget all the songs. What we need the players to do before every game now till the end of the season is the New Zealand haka. ?

19 Mar 2026 08:15:52
The haka is far too physical for em Stellaboy. They will be knocking on the owner's door, saying it's making them tired.

19 Mar 2026 08:29:38
?? Baldy true.

19 Mar 2026 08:57:09
Balloons it wasn't 'pinched ' off anyone, it developed at the same time, if you've got a club near a river doesn't take a Lennon talent to work it out, you and your mate are down on everything about this club.

19 Mar 2026 10:27:27
Discussing facts about the state our club is in doesn't mean you're down on it, Stevie. Quite the reverse, actually. We are virtually nailed on for relegation, spent half a billion pounds on players and ended up with a team that can't score a goal or buy a win. After 9 yrs the promised ground improvements consist of a few second hand shipping containers where it cost £300 for a seat & a ready meal.

A lunatic of an owner who couldn't pick his nose, never mind a manager. Everything was near perfect last year, now 11 months later it's a total car crash. Again, I ask you, which of the above facts aren't true. That's the purpose of this site. Debate & thoughts.

19 Mar 2026 11:17:01
I think most clubs have a signature tune, Everton have Z Cars and Newcastle have Local Hero to name just two, as Trigger said, the karaoke versions.

19 Mar 2026 15:23:33
Balloons you seem pretty convinced we're going down if I were you I'd fill my boots at 9/4 with the bookies,
West Ham 7/4
Spurs 2/1
Forest 9/4
So bet 365 seem to think of the 3 we are the marginally least likely to go down, get stuck in, you might be able to upgrade your recliner, by the way you and your mate don't debate, you're a background noise on here, a diatribe( look it up on Google skegs) of constant negativity, and have never been anything else,

19 Mar 2026 17:13:43
Stevie boy look for any negative comments I made last season pal.then look back how many you made last season facts mate facts.pot kettle pal and fans with short term memory loss

19 Mar 2026 18:45:30
Skegs, thought you weren't commenting on my posts? I see no point in talking about anything with you.

18 Mar 2026 18:18:40
I see Elangas having a good night the Judas.

Agree1 Disagree0

18 Mar 2026 18:26:51
Man of the match. ?

18 Mar 2026 18:56:16
Newcastle finding the net - what an entertaining game. Nice to see two teams have a real go at each other, not playing sideways football, and having to have 105 shots on goal to finally score one.

18 Mar 2026 19:42:07
Barca gave em a hell of a beating, Norwegian style. ??

18 Mar 2026 19:57:59
Judas??

Really.

18 Mar 2026 20:22:12
On his way to Barcelona in the summer for plenty, plenty pesetas.

18 Mar 2026 22:23:00
Spurs hitting form just at the right time. ?

18 Mar 2026 22:35:37
Shut up toilet troll??, ain't you got a U-bend to unblock? ??. ?

18 Mar 2026 17:31:39
Nico not Nicko de Marco! ?.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 Mar 2026 16:22:00
Adverse reaction to the scurrilous Chelsea decision is bubbling away nicely .
Nicko de Marco, who represented us ( and Leicester) at our FFP hearing has gone public and asked for "consistency" in punishments. Without mentioning Chelsea or any other club, using this word is as close as a lawyer can come within the libel and defamation laws to saying "bent".
Likewise, Simon Leaf, another legal expert in this field, writing in the Mail has called it " the deal of the decade " for Chelsea.
Also, an unnamed " senior Man United source"has expressed his concern and the effects of the fraudulent acts on their prospects ( at the time in the 2010s ) of success.
The Premier League Senior Executives have a meeting tomorrow ( Thursday) which, though routine, may well be used to express comment on the verdict. I'm sure Everton and us will have something to say, especially with the Man City verdict pending ( bearing in mind they have denied any offences and dragged their heels and not co operated throughout).

I'm sure the Mr Masters who's leading the Prem in this farce will stress that the panel was independent. But his fear will be a Labour Government Sports Minister stepping in to address the imbalance between, firstly the Prem and the other English Leagues and secondly the elite group within the Premiership itself. With a 174 seat majority and work in progress legislation could well follow.
Anyway, watch this space .
By the way Ed 1, May I utilise your wide ranging expertise and knowledge on FFP to ask if the standard of proof is balance of probability as in civil cases ( ie 51 v 49 per cent) or beyond reasonable doubt, as in criminal cases ie 99%?

{Ed001's Note - balance of probability. It is classed as a civil case.}

Agree2 Disagree1

18 Mar 2026 18:19:35
Thanks Ed. I thought it would be in the circumstances mate ??

18 Mar 2026 19:54:41
Another article on the BBC by Sam Drury interviewing former Chelsea executive Christian Purslow, who states the penalty was "too lenient" and "very generous." Plus, he expresses sympathy for the points deductions for us and Everton. Worth a read.
As I said, this one is bubbling away nicely...

19 Mar 2026 08:40:14
Matthew Sayed nails it in The Times today.

18 Mar 2026 15:22:00
Chris Wood out training with the lads.

Agree4 Disagree0

18 Mar 2026 18:40:41
I hope he wasn't running too much bse. It would show the others up, because they don't like running much in training apparently.

18 Mar 2026 10:44:25
Just heard rocking all over the world on the radio and it got me thinking.
It's been that long since it was played after a game they'll have to dust the cobwebs off it if we do win at home again this season. ?

Agree1 Disagree0

18 Mar 2026 11:25:56
Maybe we might beat Burnley, but as you know - you can't win games without scoring.

Maybe we should play for a score draw? That's seemingly the realistic limit of our ambition these days.

18 Mar 2026 11:37:20
If the players didn't have to endure that hideous & dreary Mull of Kintyre before every match, the players might get fired up before kick off. By the time it's finished, they are all depressed.
Get Decedance Dance on by Extreme & fire the place up a bit. ????

18 Mar 2026 13:45:07
Good choice, Larry.
You can't beat a bit of Nuno. ????

18 Mar 2026 14:07:34
I vote for "f*** the Establishment" by Undead Asylum. Seems appropriate right now. ?

18 Mar 2026 14:52:23
I'd rather we had bought more than just one youngish striker in about the last 120 windows. Everyone knew we needed at least one more striker in about the last 3/4 windows now.

18 Mar 2026 15:32:19
"We Will Rock You" by Queen. The sound of 25,000 doing that clap stop rhythm would be electrifying, especially with words about Forest put in too.

18 Mar 2026 17:35:47
I quite like "The Floral Dance".
???

18 Mar 2026 20:25:29
The final count down would be more suitable.

18 Mar 2026 20:41:40
Celine Dion, Titanic, more appropriate at the minute.

18 Mar 2026 20:59:45
The way this season's gone, comrades, I'd go for "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" by The Stones or "My Silver Lining" by First Aid Kit, because we have to "keep on keeping on".

19 Mar 2026 10:16:27
Start Me Up is probably more appropriate. ?

17 Mar 2026 19:54:32
Gobsmacked this evening, we all seem to be singing from the same hymn sheet!
Do the FA and Prem League like Forest, Everton etc No!
We are the cannon fodder for the big 6 shet clubs - Money talks
I was against the so called Super League, but sod them all - let them go, but we will be laughing when the League doesn't work and TV money walks!

Agree6 Disagree0

17 Mar 2026 20:23:39
Well they're getting their comeuppance tonight!!!!
?????????

17 Mar 2026 21:47:41
As the great man said "You can take all your cups and your medals and all your pots and your pans and throw them all in the bin because you got them all by cheating...".
Sums it up.

18 Mar 2026 07:51:21
Agree, Stokey, talk about a bunch of cheats. I hear Everton fans are going to stage a protest on the two-tiered Premier League injustices this weekend - ironically their game is against Cheating Chelsea.

18 Mar 2026 08:55:45
I'm surprised that sides like Man U, Liverpool, and Arsenal aren't making more fuss tbh. Surely they would have been most affected by this. ?

18 Mar 2026 09:51:07
Talks of cooper coming back. that really is telling me its championship football next season. Time to start supporting Lincoln if he sets foot back in the city ground. ?

18 Mar 2026 11:23:26
There is no doubt it's coming, mate.

18 Mar 2026 11:38:01
Yes, Red Frog, we should be mounting a protest or a legal reaction at the very least! Ask the Premier League/FA to redeem our 4 points along with Everton. I think most fans in the UK would see this as fair!

18 Mar 2026 11:39:52
Oh God, no, not that fist-pumping, bus-parking fool Cooper again, please, no. ??

18 Mar 2026 11:51:10
Jack Colback suggested the Cooper return.

18 Mar 2026 14:52:59
We aren't even playing badly, we just can't score.

18 Mar 2026 15:23:22
Not playing badly? It's unwatchable. The Fulham game was like watching the Red Lion v the Dog & Duck.

18 Mar 2026 17:59:02
Balloons, can't you reach the on/off button on the remote control from your recliner?

19 Mar 2026 12:54:00
Yes, Balloons, the same Cooper who got us promoted after 23 years, kept us up and was a World Cup winner. By the way, he was no more "park the bus" than every manager we've had since on the Marinkinakos merry go round, except Postacoglau, who was more "crash the bus into a wall, then watch it burn." ? ? ? ?

17 Mar 2026 17:52:47
Well done to Chelsea - the new owners brought the problem to light. Just like Forest went straight to Premier League when the Brennan Johnson money was delayed.
The big difference is the Chelsea situation was originally underhand and possibly fraudulent? The Forest situation was bad luck.
Result - a slap on the wrist for Chelsea (apparently the Abramovitch trust will be paying the fine) and Forest docked points. Hypocrisy at its best.

Expect the Premier League to swing into action to save Spurs and West Ham - can’t have 60,000 seat stadiums in the championship after all. Plus lose all that Far East money from their coffers.
I am disgusted today. Absolutely disgusted and I am sure, more than ever now, that something isn’t right with the whole set up in the Premier League. Do we expect a whole load of dodgy decisions against us before season end? Let’s see.

Agree8 Disagree0

17 Mar 2026 18:58:16
Red frog, the 'Save Spurs' campaign started Sunday. Forest get denied a borderline 'offside' goal, which could have been given due to the degree of tolerance built into the system. Meanwhile, at Anfield, Richarlison strolls back from 2 yards offside to join in with play and scores a last minute equaliser.

No one does a thing. Get ready for more of the same Sunday. Tottenham have its estimated 180 million followers worldwide, we have estimated 2-5 million. Who do you think the money men will want to stay up?

17 Mar 2026 19:19:53
Absolutely agree with both Redfrog's and Stevie's posts, and if I was a betting man, I'd put a tenner on a certain Mr A Taylor reffing the game. Problem is that our passionate owner doesn't conform with the Premier League's establishment. It's going to be a tough call for the rest of the season, just got to keep the faith.

17 Mar 2026 19:33:34
Agree, Stevie and Vale, this has a whiff of the sewer to me. I'm sure VAR will be in overdrive to ensure we go down.

17 Mar 2026 19:56:37
I agree with all the above posts. ?

17 Mar 2026 19:58:50
I think we got Michael Oliver.

17 Mar 2026 20:06:14
If we play like we've been playing, it won't make no difference, lol. All season we've been poor. Now the conspiracy theories come out. We should never be in this position in the first place, all thanks to Edu and Mr M. Conspiracy theories. ?? Desperation more like.

17 Mar 2026 22:42:25
Got to agree with you there, Stellaboy.
Stevie, offside is offside, mate. I can't remember being so happy and celebrating a goal so enthusiastically as that Ndoye goal. I was gutted when it was disallowed, but having seen it on TV afterwards, it was correct, unfortunately.
I do, however, think there are 2 sets of rules.

17 Mar 2026 23:07:15
Gazzi, I'm not denying that, but the VAR images are semi automated. I don't trust VAR, did you see the Spurs goal? And where did Richarlison come from?

18 Mar 2026 07:06:38
Our fate is in our own hands, never mind conspiracy theories. It will be the players who will win this game. Tomorrow night has a bearing, irrespective of who plays. A drubbing, even if it's the second 11, is morale sapping. All the players train every day together and are a team.

18 Mar 2026 07:41:18
If we go down, we will have to own it as a club. If we stay up, ditto. Sorted.

18 Mar 2026 08:53:14
I'm with the conspiracy nutz, VAR is controlled from a bunker under Area 51 with Elvis and Darth Vader viewing the images. ?

18 Mar 2026 09:47:02
Red Robin, if you don't think the Prem is bent towards their paymasters, look at Chelsea's punishment and its leniency, and the failure to even prosecute the case against Manchester City.

18 Mar 2026 14:04:35
Yeah, I heard Grand Moff Tarkin will referee Sunday's game with Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi as his pair of assistants. Beam me up, Stevie. ?

18 Mar 2026 14:16:10
Mind you, tongue in cheek that one. ? The whole AFCON thing is an absolute farce. The officials definitely leaned towards Morocco in the tournament, Senegal stood up to it, and have now been stripped of their title. Now that's corruption in action.
The Chelsea punishment should be reviewed.

In a court of law, sentencing can be reviewed if seen as too lenient. Fans need to make this heard, and the only way is on match day. Next game im at (Sunderland) I will be armed with bed linen a la DTP. Of course it will be spelt slightly better, but will be aimed at two-tier justice of the Premier League. ?

18 Mar 2026 18:20:45
Hope it's not one of Tracy Emons sheets, dirty mare!

Senegal decision a disgrace, as if African football needed anymore spotlights to highlight how bent it is. Is Morrocos win given in 90+2 months minute, unbelievable Jeff.

Agree on the if we go down, it's not Vars fault, I don't think we will but can't blame that.

17 Mar 2026 14:23:02
Man City will no doubt get the same sort of punishment, because they are a big 6 club!
Leicester points deduction.
Everton points deduction.
Forest points deduction.
Sheffield Wed points deduction.

Oh right, of course, those point deductions are ok, because they are not big 6 clubs!
The FA and Premier League need to get this sorted, because it is deffo one rule for them and another rule for the smaller none 6 clubs!
Where would these supposed big 6 clubs be if the rest of the Prem teams and EFL teams weren't around?

Agree5 Disagree0

17 Mar 2026 15:49:35
If Marinakas hadn't wasted half a billion on crap players, then we might be a big 6 club by now & getting the same treatment.

17 Mar 2026 15:53:37
While I do agree with a lot of what you are saying, mate, Everton, Fester, and ourselves were charged for breaching FFP rules and all got similar points deductions. Wednesday got theirs for going into administration and effectively being broke.
Chelsea did get away lightly, imo, but were given credit for the new owners bringing it to light and being completely transparent. If they were still owned by the old regime we still wouldn't have a clue what's happening behind the scenes.

Now City, they have denied all charges and dragged their heels in helping present evidence. What is it? 115 charges? The FA and Premier League have to make sure that they have a watertight case on every charge or City will no doubt win any appeal. Yes, it's taking forever, and it's frustrating. I think they have set themselves a deadline for the end of the season to get it done. So, therefore, promotions and relegations can be confirmed. ?

17 Mar 2026 17:48:14
Pathetic the way they play their bloody games...

17 Mar 2026 18:32:35
Good posts, Red Tree and Red Robin. Just read BBC Sports reporter Dan Roan on their website. He makes some very relevant points. Worth a read, because it's a succinct summary.
Whilst Chelsea were given credit because their new owners voluntarily disclosed Abramovich's fraudulent activities and co-operated fully with the enquiry, it's still the case that a fine of £10 million for a club valued at £1.5 billion is lenient.
Plus, by virtue of the numerous trophies they won under Mourinho in the 2010s, the new owners benefited from the attractiveness and desirability to world class players right up to the present day.
If no points deductions, then what about stripping Chelsea of all their trophies and handing them to the runners-up? Like Ben Johnson being stripped of his gold medal for steroid use in the 1988 Olympics, and the silver medalist (Carl Lewis) promoted to gold, and so on through all the placings?
Likewise, there should be a sporting equivalent of the 2002 Proceeds of Crime Act.

The same principles should apply insofar as any gain obtained in whatever form (like the Brink Matt gold) should be confiscated forever.
It would be open for clubs to pursue civil damages against Man City should they ever be found guilty, even after the season's end. Mr M is particularly litigious, particularly if we do get relegated (which we won't), and could sue for the loss of huge sums as a result of demotion.
Basically, it's all a right chuffing mess.

17 Mar 2026 18:55:57
Punishments for financial breaches, underhanded payments and backhanders should all be the same. Points deducted, simple. Standard three points, then a point for every breach/charge. ?

17 Mar 2026 19:02:03
And in City's case, once they hit zero points, it should therefore roll over into the next season. ?
