This deal makes more sense with what our recruitment team are looking for. As much as I would like to see matt cash back in a forest shirt, can't see villa letting him go at present, konsa is a better cb than rb and garcii injured. Also cash has regular spot and would be competing against aina who on his day is best rb in the league. So if we get the young Spanish rb he could cover aina and if get tsmikis on loan from Liverpool we have a really strong squad.

We definitely need a FB at Matty Cash's level. He'd be Prem ready. The fact that he counts as a home-grown academy player (I think) is the big bonus, as he would be an extra player and we won't have to leave anyone else out of the squad.
However, the Carmona guy is probably European match ready, so still fits with what we need but may not adjust to the Prem as quickly.
We are now reaching the point where tough choices need to be made about who makes the squad.

You know what. On reflection i was thinking since we have been in the premier, what was a bigger win or statement than this.
My mind went blank.

Also when we hammered West Brom 1-4 Cyrille Regis, Batson, Cunningham, Moses in thst side, as we swept them aside, I actually decked a WBA fan who spat on my Forest badge, which was pinned to my blazer at School.
As I've said on here before, I was fed up with everyone supporting the Big Six, so it was either, City, Coventry (Yes! ) Or Forest, I liked the name, never even heard of Cloughie. and what a Journey since then!

When I lived in Manchester, Man City was like my second team. My GF lived about 100yds from Maine Road. They were a different animal then with proper fans. Used to like that ground. Their new one was soulless by comparison.
I remember us playing them there in the league cup. What a game.

Totally agree with you 67, I was hoping for a point today, totally blown away with the performance. I think it's time for the dyche knockers to give it a rest, you know who you are and out of respect I'm not going to name you, after all this is a banter site we all should be getting behind the man. were not out of the relegation battle yet, come January and we should have a better picture of the situation.
Dyche and his team are a very underrated group and for the first time he's got a squad who for the first time in a few months are believing in him and have upped their game, just look at mgw a few weeks ago I'd have given him away, now he's coming back to his best. still a long way to go but now it's time to BELIEVE.

Must win game. Job done.
Don't think we played that well against a poor Leeds team. But that doesn't matter. We had to find a way to win today.

I'm sure he would happily play anywhere and do a job.
But he is a centre back. Was more likely to get joy going forward than Morato in a team that was looking for damage limitation.
Needs must. Williams needed a break.
Hopefully in a few weeks we will have 3 more full backs available and it won't be an issue.
Was pleased for Kalimundo. He has looked lost since arriving and along with Hutchinson has been a victim of the madness surrounding August/ September.
