This deal makes more sense with what our recruitment team are looking for. As much as I would like to see matt cash back in a forest shirt, can't see villa letting him go at present, konsa is a better cb than rb and garcii injured. Also cash has regular spot and would be competing against aina who on his day is best rb in the league. So if we get the young Spanish rb he could cover aina and if get tsmikis on loan from Liverpool we have a really strong squad.

We definitely need a FB at Matty Cash's level. He'd be Prem ready. The fact that he counts as a home-grown academy player (I think) is the big bonus, as he would be an extra player and we won't have to leave anyone else out of the squad.
However, the Carmona guy is probably European match ready, so still fits with what we need but may not adjust to the Prem as quickly.
We are now reaching the point where tough choices need to be made about who makes the squad.

Can't defend set pieces all of a sudden. They were no better than a championship team.
The atmosphere before the game, electric.
Then the game started.
By the end of the game, atmosphere,

Excited about tonight. Should be a great atmosphere/ occasion.
My only worry. I hear the opposition, are very direct and particularly good at set pieces. Think we will need to take our chances tonight.

Amazing atmosphere.

Pity the Spanish police seemed to want to start something. that wasn't there.
All in sll a good away point and a great experience.
The highlight of the day was my brother letting a guy tag on with his who was on his own. Who was his his best mate for 3 hours till he found out he was Sun reporter for 32 years. They got in a right row in the taxi on the way to the ground. Had to cut the journey short before he knocked the S@@t out of him.
Memories aye.
In hotel bar now safe n sound.
All in all on that performance. Think we will be fine.

At least 70% of the people I have met don't have tickets. They will get them too. Got stopped three times this morning with people trying to sell me them.

I remember the home game Stokey.
First half he was best player on the pitch. Gave our left back a torrid time. Who on the day, if my memory serves me right, was Moreno.

Thing is. We have been caught with our pants down here.

Looking at the interview with Aina after today's game, it doesn't seem to have affected the team spirit, which is my big fear.
Still feeling optimistic about next year and the missus says if we get Roma or Bologna away she's coming with me, although not to the game.
