Yet another linked striker declines a move to Forest preferring to sign for Venice instead!

This coupled with Sulenovic reluctance to join us leads me to believe that as a destination for young strikers Forest are about as attractive as a warty faced witch

Could it be that news has spread that our striker gets about as much support as a jellyfish! And is expected to track back as well as ploughing a lone furrow upfront with two wingers in Mighten and Lolley who both like to cut infield and shoot themselves.

37 goals in 46 games and 6 of them own goals speaks volumes I know you all think I'm a Hughton basher and I admit I am but surely with a week and a bit to go we should be attracting more players to the club than a third choice keeper.

Horvath is an international keeper. He played for his national team a few weeks ago. He isn't a nobody, mate.

We have been priced out of players I expect, as opposed to not being attractive. Money talks.

Let's put it like this. If we don't have bags of cash available due to financial fair play, we have two choices.

1. Sell out best prospects who will definitely (partly due to the deflated market and c. v. ) be worth more money next summer and improve. That money can then be spent on players who may or may not make the grade at Forest. I'd call this option TWIST!

2. Keep our best prospects and they will get better and be worth more to us next summer after playing games and c. v. deflated market ending. This option means we have to be patient, pick up bargains and loans to complete the squad. I'd call this option STICK!

I say stick. We have twisted every season for years and have lost Brereton, Appiah, Burke, Cash, Osbourne and co. In return, we got a load of players who had no resale value whatsoever and weren't good enough to get us promoted.

Time to try stick. Keep our prospects. Spend smaller and grow this club.

Vote below guys. STICK or TWIST!

Munmad, “as attractive as a warty faced witch” 🤣.

Munmad change the record. Its been unprecedented this summer with c.v., the euros and now the olympics. Very few transfers happening so calm down. The service to the strikers was ok last season only that grabban and co missed so many sitters including yates. Ameobi hardly hits the target glad he's gone too. It will happen for us, but right now its very very hard.

I agree Rutland hardly anyone in Championship is spending bar relegated teams and Bournemouth on parachute money .
I suspect a lot of young foreign players ( who we are allegedly linked with ) just don't fancy the slog of 46 battles in a really tough physical league and look for easier options in Europe.

With respect Rutland, Munmad has every right to voice his opinion. The service to strikers last season was atrocious. The pattern of play last season was atrocious. The lack of game plan and general defensive approach was again atrocious. Also, I do agree with you Rutland that the striking last season was atrocious.
Last season was, with respect some of the worst football ever seen from a Forest team. I make no apologies for stating fact, and that’s what they are- fact.
It’s immaterial if transfers happen or not, with CH in charge we will continue to be cautious in our approach and will continue to appear to have no plan B.
That’s not bashing you Rutland, it’s just as it is- in my opinion anyway. And we all have an opinion.

Yep can’t agree Rutland service to the striker was abysmal.

Lads you can't tell me grabban didn't miss sitters even pens as for our second striker he was out on the flanks trying to put crosses in because of his confidence levels. As for sammy i agree he was far from brilliant. So why did that leave me wanting him on. The reason we were p#ss poor in all areas and he can strike from anywhere. To sum last season up we relied on a young kid from Manchester to show us how to play football. Sad though it is.
