It's been an excellent transfer window with the quality of the players brought in. Unfortunately time is against Lamouchi with no pre season and 9 or 10 newcomers (some, like Colback and Freeman rusty from lack of game time) to bed in. Unless we turn the corner results wise fairly quickly I can foresee another manager reaping the Marinakos harvest. I reckon Lamouchi s got 3 games maximum. It's a big ask.

Agreed Stokey, they have brought in some very good players to the club. I know it is the same for all clubs but just a shame it was such a short pre-season because of the virus.

I personally think we will win comfortably on Friday, we will need to be even more patient as everyone settles in. Unfortunately there is not much patience to be had on here or in the boardrooms for that matter.

Every game is given a clean slate but when nothing has changed from the past it make you think will it ever go right.

Taylor was the best choice striker for the Cardiff game yet Grabban started, that said it all for me.

I hope the players leader stays because it means Forest are winning more games than not.

Ginger, your point is fair, the trouble is lamouchi’s horrible football will only be tolerated if it yields results . I can’t stand his football but will stomach it if generates results . My overriding desire is I’m tolerate football I find dreadful because it’s yielding results .

Ginger you are out of line regarding patience on here. Oneil was given no time and is ten times the manager lamouchi is. We hsve brought in upwards of 20 crap players since lamouci was appointed. Funny how now the gun is at his head lamouchi starts to bring in the type of plsyers I and others say we need to progress this team. Now the likes of mckenna and Arter have been brought in its suddenly become a great window. Its become a better window thanks to taylor, Arter and mckenna. The rest are the same old unwanted dross from countries with crap leagues. 3 wins in 18 and counting suggests thst patience has been very goodfrom the club and contributors on here regarding lamouchi.

I'm hoping the calibre of players signed will improve the football. We had to play the way we did last season as there was no outlet from defence . Nobody in midfield or up front could keep the ball so it just kept coming back and we played deeper.
Like you say it will be 2 or 3 games before the new signings get bedded in.

lol, there you go with O'Neil again, get over it fella, that wasn't Lamouchi's fault, move on chap.

Are you also going to start making things up I have never said again like when your head went over the 2 young English players in Iceland?

Patience is required whether you agree or not, that's hardly out of line is it, you crack me up.

24 Sep 2020 14:31:36
Ginger you just contradicted yourself again. I won't bother pointing it out. You are obviously a forest newboy elsecyou would show a bit more respect for the history of our club.

Strange how so many fans see Mckenna as a great signing without actually knowing a lot about him. He too has come from a "crap league". Warburton was slated on here for buying a couple of players from the Scottish league. Don't get me wrong, I think he may well turn out to be a good player but its based on hope rather than evidence that he's a proven championship player.

McKenna has been said to be good in the air, and strong which is what the team needs, i think the midfielder that had success when he came from Scotland help change some minds.

Every player, even ones that have Championship experience are a gamble, no end of players leave a club having done very little then play well at another club.

I did say yesterday passtheball that he is not held in massjve regard by skme scottish fans but he has quslities our current centre backs don't so here's hoping.

24 Sep 2020 16:25:36
Fair point well made passtheball and by McKennas own admission he had a poor season last time around so there's no telling how he will play. good prospect though but as you say so was Cummings and the lad that went to Swansea ( bleeding nora forgot his name) he scored 4 in his first 5 and looked good.

Actually reading articles about McKenna, ghe word is he hasn’t been very good over the last year or so, we will soon see.
