22 Mar 2026 13:50:32
Oh Jesus!
Not happy with that. Please prove me wrong.
22 Mar 2026 14:03:59
Blasphemy. π€£ π³
22 Mar 2026 14:04:17
Hat trick for jesus π
22 Mar 2026 14:50:51
Spurs edging it here.
22 Mar 2026 14:52:30
I will give him his due. He's hit the post.
22 Mar 2026 13:07:00
vp could go anyway today, I think Sels, Aina, Williams, Mito, Murillo, Anderson. mgw. Sangare. Jesus are a given but Morato and Abbott both played 120m on Thursday as did Yates so can u play them again? idk. Was Taiwo rested or is he knackered again? idk. For me its Abbott/ Morato 2 play a half each in a back three.
If Taiwo is injured then Jesus and Ndoye up top.
Yates/ McAtee have to play together if there subs- got a great understanding already. Yates makes runs into the box and McAtee is looking for the pass. Bout time we won by 2 or 3 for a change give me nerves a rest! .
22 Mar 2026 13:21:22
Team sheet is out, mate. π³
22 Mar 2026 13:22:41
Too late Vitor Pereira has picked a side which is likely not to score. The only goals will come if they do from Mgw.
22 Mar 2026 13:26:22
Nothing beats a little optimism, Nuno. π€£π³
22 Mar 2026 13:27:16
Jesus again!
Awoniyi would bully the defenders.
22 Mar 2026 13:32:09
Don't like it, nono, Jesus won't get much help again, but we haven't had a spawny win for ages, so you never know.
22 Mar 2026 13:32:19
That team should beat the best of them. it all depends if they turn up and put a shift in
22 Mar 2026 14:29:36
Well said, Skegs. π π³
22 Mar 2026 11:14:12
Iβd have Yates in there somewhere, perhaps in a three with Anderson and Sanghere, MGW pushed up next to Jesus Anoniyi, with 3 centre backs and Aina/ Williams providing the width.
At least to start with.
Blunt them, wear them down, get their crowd anxious, pick them off on the counter?
22 Mar 2026 12:10:16
Sounds good to me mate.
22 Mar 2026 12:38:37
Stokey, and wind up Romero.
22 Mar 2026 13:03:45
Absolutely! Doesn't take much to wind him up, mate. We do need a bully in midfield; it's worth a yellow card.
22 Mar 2026 10:28:59
The unpredictability of football, at the start of the season who would have thought that today would be so pivotal in two great clubs' fortunes.
Spurs taking silverware, their great new stadium and renewed optimism. Forest on the back of the best season in 30 years with a centre forward banging them in for fun and European qualification. Oh how times can change so quickly in the footballing world.
So here we are, March 22nd, not long left in the season and both sides having disasters of seasons.
They are calling it a relegation 6 pointer, the "Darby of Disarray", whatever it is, it's bloody important.
Get behind the lads, be it recliner, pub bar, the away end, make sure they hear you and remember Reds, today is our day not theirs. "Immortality is within reach, now take it, it's yours". COYR, COYR, COYR, COYR, COYR π³.
22 Mar 2026 12:10:02
I think it might have been a reasonable prediction that Spurs and Forest would be in some kind of trouble this season. I have to say it surprised me that Sunderland did so well early doors, and I thought theyβd be down there battling as well.
I thought itβd be us, Burnley, Leeds, Sunderland and Brentford fighting it out, with Spurs only not in the mix because there are 5 worse teams than them.
Spurs and West Ham, in my mind, were going to have poor seasons for me but wouldnβt go down. I hoped weβd survive by virtue of the promoted 3 struggling again.
Sadly not - Spurs and West Ham will survive as well.
Iβm surprised if anyone is genuinely surprised by our situation.
22 Mar 2026 12:29:33
I believe we will survive now.
Dyche created a bad atmosphere, with many players not being given a chance.
Pereira has used virtually every player, and some have actually looked the part now.
You can see the team spirit has returned.
If Wood can come in as well, we should be OK.
We aren't a predictable team now either, with Pereira using different set-ups. Leeds look like they are starting to struggle again.
All to play for.
Looking forward to watching the game today.
22 Mar 2026 12:36:54
I don't know dtp, another recliner fan. ππ
22 Mar 2026 12:56:51
No season card holder thats seen far worse over half a century of going.
Nothing stops me, not even my recliner with a drinks bar built in. ππ€£
22 Mar 2026 06:58:00
OK so a big game for Spurs today, they need to come out fighting - or the fans will want blood. This plays into Forest's hands nicely, hit them hard on the break, don't let Spurs settle.
Wind up Richarlison! Anderson to leave ball delivery from set pieces to someone else! I'd play Taiwo or Jesus up front, to rattle the Spurs back line. Romero and Porror onto like it!
COYR.
22 Mar 2026 08:25:15
Spurs haven't won at home in the Premier League this year even west ham beat them.should be a easy 3 points today no excuses uredddddsssss
22 Mar 2026 07:39:14
{Ed's Note - BlueNose1878 has posted a new article entitled, Everton Finally Look Like a Proper Unit
22 Mar 2026 10:31:51
Moyes is a top manager, knows the league in and out, knows how to get the best from what he has. It's good to see your lot doing well. π³
22 Mar 2026 10:57:25
It really is mate, Pickford's some keeper too.
22 Mar 2026 10:59:07
That's the difference a good manager makes.and garner as been one of your main men this season
21 Mar 2026 22:50:32
Team for 2moro for me would be
Ortega
3 CB'S
Murillo
Milenkovic
Abbott
2 WING BACKS
Williams
Aina
2 CM'S
Anderson
Sangare
2 10'S
McAtee
Gibbo
ST
Jesus
Let's beat the piss out of Spurs away and see how we do after that.
22 Mar 2026 06:04:46
Don't believe McAtee and MGW can play together. Prefer Hutchison in there. Don't think he will go with Ortega or Abbot, even though they both played well. But, either way, when you put on the shirt, give it 110% and we fans cannot ask for more. Get the first goal COYR. π€‘π€‘
21 Mar 2026 20:29:18
Team and formation for Spurs tomorrow
Sels
Abbott
Milenkovic
Murrilo
Aina
Sangare
Anderson
Williams
MGW
McAtee
Hudson Odoi
3-4-2-1
Subs Ortega Hutchinson Jesus Yates Morato Netz Dominguez Awoniyi Ndoye.
21 Mar 2026 20:58:46
Munmad, I think Cho is injured, mate. I'd stick with Jesus to hold it up tomorrow. If we were at home, I'd give bigT the start.
21 Mar 2026 21:14:10
As ok as Abbott was on Thursday, I'd not be risking him tomorrow. Remember Leeds away..n please no Morato.
21 Mar 2026 21:21:33
Red Stripe, if you're playing a3, mate, it's either Abbott or Morato. Cunha is injured.
21 Mar 2026 21:35:43
Cho is not playing well.
Coach seems to have got a tune out of Ndoye.
21 Mar 2026 21:53:02
It's the fact they feel the need to walk the ball into the net that gets me. Cho has again been sussed. One-trick pony. Need loads more coaching on set pieces, and especially corners. The amount Anderson lets us down on corners is simply unreal. As for shooting, remember I said a while ago on here, "Sir Bobby Charlton RIP, when shooting, pick your spot, chest over the ball and hit it, not all this fancy stuff." We haven't got the points to be complacent.
Back to basics. Work for each other and the badge. Go home and think, yup. Worked for that money today.
21 Mar 2026 21:58:30
Can't disagree with Anderson at set pieces.
I've said take him off those duties a year ago.
Wastes them all.
21 Mar 2026 22:13:53
I'd rather go with 2 cb than risk Morata playing.
21 Mar 2026 22:17:58
Red Stripe, yes he's had enough chances, Abbott might be a better bet in his proper position.
21 Mar 2026 22:26:16
I think he'll deffo go 3 qt the back.
Personally impressed with Abbott in his proper position.
22 Mar 2026 10:57:37
Good posts, DTP and Stevie. Abbott (and Morato) are best in their specialist positions, which is CB. At Leeds, Abbott was a forlorn hope out at full back and was destroyed.
Square pegs in square holes always, injuries and availability permitting.
21 Mar 2026 18:50:31
I'd take a draw tomorrow with the recovery time advantage Spurs have over us. The first goal will set the tone and be vital in deciding it imo.
21 Mar 2026 19:13:52
Stokey, they went virtually full strength Wednesday, we managed our so-called big players. I don't think they have any advantage on that score. A draw wouldn't be a disaster, but if we could get an early goal, that would sort the men from the boys in their team.
21 Mar 2026 19:30:57
We won't get anything tomorrow, dark arts will play its hand, and, to be honest, Spurs at their park are not those from Denmark, who we should have beaten inside 90mins had the coach held his nerve.
I for one am looking forward to the Championship, I've always fought with Two hands, not with one strapped behind my back. The Premier League is corrupted, you know it, we all know it.
21 Mar 2026 19:37:34
Red Vale, I don't think for a minute we'll get any favours from the officials or VAR, but Spurs are under so much pressure at home, an early goal for us would turn that stadium toxic. We'll see.
21 Mar 2026 20:12:20
I hope you are right, Stevie. But they had no travelling to do and no extra time, mate. Some of our big guns played over an hour. Could be a case of luck and fine margins.
As you (and I) say, first goal will be very important. π€π€
21 Mar 2026 20:20:51
Don't do dark arts.
It's a football match, and I believe we can win it.
If I didn't, I wouldn't bother watching.
21 Mar 2026 20:26:39
Come on Stokey, an hour's football in between 2 Sunday matches isn't going to tire a 23-year-old.
Luxury coach to EMA, first-class one-hour flight and first-class pre-match hotel.
What happens in the first 5 minutes tomorrow will show us if they are up for it or not.
I haven't got a clue what the team will be, but if it's picked on merit, Yates must start, and Jesus shouldn't.
21 Mar 2026 20:27:52
I won't be watching, I'll be in my workshop welding tomato frames for my wife. So you know what to do with that sarcastic comment.
21 Mar 2026 20:32:49
They'll come out flyin, keep them quiet, first 10, no silly early goal. Their crowd will get frustrated, catch them on the break.
1st goal absolutely massive.
21 Mar 2026 20:37:00
Gazzi, I'd start McAtee as well.
21 Mar 2026 20:39:54
No sarcasm at all, Redvale.
You don't like me, and make a point of replying to anything I put on.
Difference between you and me, I don't take it personally, and what's the point saying you're a Forest fan, but continually complaining about the club?
21 Mar 2026 20:47:09
Awoniyi up top for me.
Ndoye instead of CHO on current form.
Three at the back is what I expect.
21 Mar 2026 21:49:08
If Morato plays in a back 4, it will be 3 at the back.
21 Mar 2026 22:04:37
You've seen four goals today, Gazzi, and hope the pie was good and the pint?
21 Mar 2026 22:31:21
I had a great afternoon, mate. Walk on the beach, pint in Spoons. Walk to the ground, which is quite a good one for that standard, and a very competitive match. Emley were the better team, but Brid scored 2 crackers. I highly recommend.
22 Mar 2026 07:33:27
Yes, we have our end of season away bus lads jolly boys outing there, always a good day.
22 Mar 2026 11:09:49
Stevie, I see your point, but, like us, they rested their 2 key strikers, Richarlison and Solanke. We kept our 3rd choice, Lucca, on for the duration.
Gazzi, I sincerely hope you are right. I agree about all the luxury hotels, travel, and the fitness of 23-year-olds, but they also are as fit, and simply went to their nearby luxury homes with an extra uninterrupted day of rest and recovery. It's a case of fine margins, which may tell towards the end.
You are both right about team spirit, and whether they are up for it.
The first goal is so important.
In War and Peace, Tolstoy writes that, pre-Borodin in 1812, the Russian commander, the legendary one-eyed Mikhail Kutuzov, had a nap whilst all his junior officers argued about tactics and seeking tactical advantages.
When the meeting was over, they woke the great man up and asked him his opinion and he replied "I trust in the spirit of our soldiers". And that was it, and he was right.
21 Mar 2026 15:20:24
Doesn't matter what VP did at Wolves, the future is all that counts. You don't judge your partner on what they did 10yrs ago, who cares! There is no b team there's a squad of talented players that team on Thursday cost about 200m and some on here dismiss them like there sh*t.
I'm happy with VP he's brave and a thinker, he's changing things the way I wanted so I can only see things slowly improving.
Draw will do me at Spurs but I can see us winning and scoring more goals if he sticks to the 3-5-2.
21 Mar 2026 18:56:57
Very well said, Shepp.
