How many more games at the City Ground do we have to endure the Glasner nightmare, I've forgotten what scoring a goal feels like.

5

01 Nov 2026 21:11:59
So come on then Ollie. Seven days. Training ground. City Ground.

Show us a proper formation and a game plan.

2

01 Nov 2026 17:45:38
See the last BIG name our own Mr Trump last bought in is now at the mighty Northampton Town.
What a load old Cobblers !
CARLO.

2

01 Nov 2026 17:31:37
It's brilliant watching today's match at Anfield, the ref and VAR are having a mare! Isak pulled back by the shirt when about to head the ball, what a joke!

5

01 Nov 2026 17:07:55
Next weeks team selection should tell us if Glasner has learned anything
I can't see him playing a flat back four,so Aina and Mylenkovic should be left out, schlarger and McAtee cant start either.

And Ndoye and Delap certainly can't start,so six changes?
I bet he only changes two and if thats the case, then hes learned nothing.

3

01 Nov 2026 17:33:26
So which 6 hypothetically do you bring in?

2

01 Nov 2026 17:48:06
Munoz,Diamonde,sangare,Domingueuz,CHO and wood.

5

01 Nov 2026 18:17:59
Sounds about right dtp sangare and dominguez a must.

4

01 Nov 2026 16:40:53
He's just a bad fit for us.

5

01 Nov 2026 17:39:03
Totally agree Fingers.

3

01 Nov 2026 18:34:53
He will get the chance till christmas i beleive
Invested too much in him unfortunately
On the flip side i don't want wingers like hutchinson and bakwa back either if we go back to wingers, both massively overated.

1

01 Nov 2026 18:50:55
Yes all getting a bit desperate when we're asking for them back and Yates to play 🀣🀣.

1

01 Nov 2026 20:20:44
Yates came on for schlager and first thing he did was pass to Brentford that could of resulted in a goal.

Get Sangare back above those two clowns.

2

01 Nov 2026 15:25:13
I've always believed that saying " I was right all along” is immature and generally counter productive. However, in this crisis, I do have to go back on that belief. I have predicted this debacle since VP was sacked in disrespectful and disgraceful circumstances. If it ain't broke why fix it?

But, again, as I've said countless times, I always support the incumbent Forest manager until it becomes untenable. Left to me, id still have SC in charge.
At least these dire times have freed the largely silent majority to come on here again and submit some great and perceptive posts instead of the usual diet of deluded drivel from " the usual suspects”.

Some of the latter are even coming round to my way of thinking, particularly with regard to the repeated reckless and damaging actions of our owner. He just cant stop sticking his pudgy finger into the pie and changing things that dont need changing. Plus, making us a laughing stock in the process.
Anyone who thinks Mr M. is a good owner needs to give their heads a wobble.
Anyway, rant over.

Like the vast majority on here it seems I'm living the Mr M. / Glasner nightmare.

8

01 Nov 2026 15:51:00
You were wrong in the first place because you'd have kept Dyche and we'd have never had Vitor.

3

01 Nov 2026 15:55:31
Stokey with regards to Marinakis he made Forest a laughing stock and age ago.
He will never learn unfortunately.

4

01 Nov 2026 15:56:33
Not being funny, but it's not really the time for smart ass comments saying I told you so. The fanbase is clearly hurting and the longer that idiot stays in charge, the worse it will get. I've got tickets for the Hull game but if Glasner is charge I might give them away. 🌳.

4

01 Nov 2026 16:26:47
Cyclist
Like I said I'd have kept Cooper so we wouldn't have had Nuno either. As previously mentioned, we will never know how successful or otherwise our managers would or wouldn't have been because they haven't been in post long enough to find out. It's not just a case of the road not taken. It's more like saying " if that dog hadn't stopped for a πŸ’©it would have caught that rabbit”.

Like life itself, no one knows where we'd be. It would be tenuous unless you have a fully functioning crystal ball mate.
RRH it's funny how it's just a "smart ass " comment when I've been right all along isn't it? Unlike your gang of 4, I'd be the first to admit when I'm wrong mate πŸ€”.

6

01 Nov 2026 16:38:55
Ah, the stubborn goats are locking horns again!

4

01 Nov 2026 16:40:19
Its backfired on him already winter
Cyclist has it in a nutshell and now its backtracking 🀣🀣🀣.

2

01 Nov 2026 16:51:33
Hes never wrong except most of the time he his 🀣.

2

01 Nov 2026 17:06:19
Yeah backtracking whilst moonwalking.

2

01 Nov 2026 17:09:48
DTP At least I didn't state that under Mr M we now have no debt and we own the City Ground for the first time in our history eh mate? Doh! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
Skeggs The man who's never been right
It's the usual suspects embarrassing themselves again.

3

01 Nov 2026 17:10:03
Anyway, all bow to the Messiah, never wrong, Dyche is the answer to all our problems! 🀣.

2

01 Nov 2026 17:19:55
Any debt we have gets sorted by shares or something along those lines and he has bought the city ground freehold
So your point is ?

2

01 Nov 2026 17:16:50
I'd actually say the two who have been right all along are Sir 'Geordie' Bowie and Lego 'the Janner'. The very soul of our beloved club is being sucked out via the portaloo behind the Trent End by Gollum Glasner himself.

4

01 Nov 2026 17:49:05
Could well happen that winter
Only bloke i know that got christened with the font full of vodka 🀣
Only kidding Mal 🍻.

3

01 Nov 2026 18:41:54
DTP The point is, mate, you were wrong and I was right on both counts.
Nottm Forest FC have a debt of Β£99 million and the parent company NF Investments a debt of Β£364million both of which are paying out interest on loans to cover it. Whilst it's true that Mr M converts some of the debt into shares and thus effectively writes them off, this just reduces the size of the debt, not the debt itself. So, contrary to your assertion we are not debt free. Are you with me so far?
The freehold of the City Ground is still held by Nottm City Council therefore we do NOT own it. An agreement IN PRINCIPLE has been made for Forest to buy the freehold but this is subject to negotiation to do with planning and infrastructure.
I'm glad I'm not your business accountant. Jeez.🀭

As for the "backtracking " comment I suggest you and your mates re read my reply to Cyclists interesting but flawed post more carefully to see I'm not wrong.

RRH it's wise to try and change the subject mate because this Janner is giving your boys a hell of a beating.

2

01 Nov 2026 18:54:14
Dyche thats all we after say mr wrong.πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ˜…πŸ€£ own it 😁.

2

01 Nov 2026 19:20:24
Dear Ginger Beauty, please come back and save us❀❀❀.

1

01 Nov 2026 19:21:20
Skegs, DTP, Cyclist all have you sussed. 🀣.

3

01 Nov 2026 19:24:11
Stokey when it comes to wrong read what you posted ealier
Glasner stole the FA cup from a superior city
And won the conference league against rangers?
And was sacked by leverkuesan ?
It was rayo vallecano and he never managed leverkuesen
Funny how your so intellectually right all the time isnn't it 🀣🀣🀣🀣.

2

01 Nov 2026 19:32:54
Wrong and tedious as always Skeggs. The thinking man's Robert Jenrick πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

1

01 Nov 2026 19:38:55
By the way, you can't label yourself a Janner, you can only be called it by a Cornish person, it's how it works, by startards you don't class even close, bloody Emmits, coming on here telling us Cornish how it's done. 🀣.

1

01 Nov 2026 20:02:26
Thing is stokey that was last years accounts before sales and loans out,so in reality you don't actually know anything about the size of a debt or if one exists.

Secondly, every club has one,but unlike doughty marinakis deals with it in a responsible way passing the debt to himself not the club.

The deal in principle happens anyway and you know it. The houses he's bought are being demolished now and the stadium will start.

1

01 Nov 2026 20:04:14
Winter, i love fishing and caught the biggest sole today.

1

01 Nov 2026 20:17:31
What was his name DTP? And did you use a lure or live bait? 🀣.

1

01 Nov 2026 20:22:36
Oh you are awful, but i like it 🀣🀣.

2

01 Nov 2026 20:30:28
Why did the dinosaurs go extinct. Because Dyche was in charge of them 🀣🀣.

1

01 Nov 2026 20:35:04
I heard Shaun 'Tyrannosaurus' Dyche worked them all to death during training 🀣.

1

01 Nov 2026 20:35:58
That could be interesting skeggs as I've not seen stokey do a quote from Sir David Attenborough YET.

1

01 Nov 2026 20:39:32
You've got some neck πŸ˜πŸ˜‚.

1

01 Nov 2026 20:41:59
I'll set Mrs Legolas (nee Pengelly) on you if you call me a Janner again Winter!! Being a Cornish Maid, she paints her face and her bum blue before going to war armed with her rolling pin. Very scary.

Thanks though mate. Despite a 'rocky start' many years ago, Bowie and myself both saw eye-to-eye with regards to the initial signs that our great club was being dragged down a slippery slope - in terms of football, stability and reputation.

We all know that Big M is the root cause of this. However, the true problem is that 'we can't live with him, yet we can't live without him'.

BTW. Love the term Gollum Glasner. Made me chuckle.

3

01 Nov 2026 20:48:49
You can call Mr M. all you want, but you wouldn't even be having this discussion about Premier league position owning the ground and paying out for some of the best players we've seen in many years at the city ground and also Europe and as for you and Bowie seeing eye to eye was that when you was both cross eyed over a bottle of vodka πŸ€£πŸ˜…πŸ˜….

1

01 Nov 2026 20:52:50
Our great club?
Fascinating topic.
What is the meaning?
Why is Marinakis dragging us down a slippery slope?
Previous 25 years we spent in that slope before he arrived.

1

01 Nov 2026 20:53:16
My mum calls people that don't live in Coastal towns or Villages Dirty Inlanders, she's a beauty, she still cracks me up just listening to her. Oh and people that live in Cities are Fraggles.

1

01 Nov 2026 21:00:09
Premier League is all down to one man's money and ambition for us. Simple as that. Also beats a winters afternoon, stood in a cow shed in driving rain, watching us away at some dive like Home Park.

1

01 Nov 2026 21:11:30

I'll give you a real insight to our great club as a born and bred 69 year old

We where a mid table first division outfit till jonny carey came along and we finishsed runners up and fa cup semi finalists in 66 /67

The tesm was old and broke up barring storey moore, newton and hennessey ,alonong came gillies and relegation ,alan brown stabilised us in league two and it went from bad to worse ,

Vloghie eventually took over and we still struggled ,the partnership with taylor was restored and the miricle happened ,great times

But being older and seeing it over the decades makes me laugh when some can only remember the glory

Other than those years we have never been much tbh

Seen more s**** than good over the last thirty lego and paid for it ,but its in my blood

1

01 Nov 2026 21:27:41
Wow! A net bursting with fish. Just need a few loaves and Jesus to return from injury to walk on water.
DTP, you sound like you're " flounder” ing mate. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸŽ£πŸŽ£πŸŽ£
What happens in the future regarding debt and ground ownership wise may well be entirely different from what's actually happening now.
You'll be telling me next that professional footballers get serious season ending injuries just by being played out of position.

By the way, earlier this evening I spoke to my daughter who is a qualified physiotherapist. She's got her own business and has physio'd Forest and Leicester Academy's, Leicester Tigers Rugby, England Women's Rugby ( you know, the World Champions ) and Manchester Storm and England netball.
I mentioned in passing your comment.
I won't tell you her exact words but she did mention the word " Clown”. and she's still laughing.πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

1

01 Nov 2026 21:30:21
Skegs and DTP - both of you just seem to want to create an argument when there is none there to be had. Again, attention-seeking for you both. This site was united over the last couple of days until you put in your derisive comments.

DTP - are you disagreeing that we have been a great club in the past that is now being dragged into the gutter, accelerating over the last few years?

Skegs - thanks for your hysterical comment. I thought you were better than that. BTW - with my dodgey kidneys I'd be dead if I touched vodka nowadays.

2

01 Nov 2026 21:34:01
Oh dear drefuss, youv'e got a real dose there πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

1

01 Nov 2026 21:34:33
You must be proud of her stokie she sounds exactly like you 😁.

0

01 Nov 2026 21:38:27
Winter - I've heard various derisive Cornish references to 'Inlanders' before (particularly those living in Bodmin), but I've never heard the term 'Fraggles' for city-dwellers before.

I like it though!

1

01 Nov 2026 21:39:28
Try reading lego and take it in and remember iwas there way before cloughie ?

1

01 Nov 2026 21:43:23
I don't renember you telling us about your duaghter being a physio after the 29th time tbh stokey, but thanks for reminding me again.

1

01 Nov 2026 21:54:54
" I think we're going to need a bigger boat " ⛴️ πŸŽ£πŸŽ£πŸŽ£πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

2

01 Nov 2026 22:05:14
That Vloghie was certainly a great manager DTP πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

2

01 Nov 2026 21:52:45
He's in the spare room skeggs after she seen his bent rod loaded with a couple of kippers trying to impress πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

2

01 Nov 2026 22:08:32
You must have that sinking feeling
Don't worry the nurse is on the way.

2

01 Nov 2026 22:09:59
I haven't had as much fun since I gave Nero his first box of matches.πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯.

2

01 Nov 2026 22:12:38
Checkout St Mawes lighthouse, tis the real Fraggle Rock, used to love that program when I was a kid🀣.

1

01 Nov 2026 22:15:34
Oh so easy stokey πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
Told you to pack the rods away πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
There' s plenty more if you look πŸ˜πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

2

01 Nov 2026 22:17:37
Think I had a thing for lighthouses growing up, also loved 'Around the Twist' about a mad Australian family that lived in one, talking of Around the twist, have you pair above finished yet? 🀣.

1

01 Nov 2026 22:22:37
Never had so much fun?
Spent most your life in a libary, shhhhΔ₯ πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

1

01 Nov 2026 22:49:52
Legolas. im a 55 year old man that as been bought up to respect my elders. my country them who have fought for it ive done as many charity events in my past as you have. ive worked hard all my life I look after my family and try to help people that need it.

if you can give it get ready to take it and no amount of book reading makes you a smarter or better person than myself just saying.

1

01 Nov 2026 15:13:43
I do not like been a critic of Marinakis because if he chooses to do one we will be in big trouble. However his choice of new manager to replace a very competent VP is a complete disaster. A manager who gets tactics and selection wrong time and time again deserves no sympathy, and one that is on fourteen million a year is mind boggling. We need a back four, we need full backs, we need wingers, we need two up top who know how to put the ball in the net.

That requirement sounds very much like a 4 4 2 to me. Remember a guy called Alex Ferguson, he won title after title using it, but its not in fashion now. So what. it would be a massive upgrade on what we are seeing with square pegs in round holes and players like Aina, Sangare, CHO, etc. ignored. Change can't come quick enough before the good players at the club decide enough is enough in January. U REDS.

7

01 Nov 2026 15:20:44
I'd go for 4:2:3:1 while we are lacking out and out proper wingers.

Williams
Murillo
Diamonde
Aina

Sangare
Dominguez

Kalimuendo
Gibbs-White
Hudson Odoi

Delcrap
Gibbs White.

1

01 Nov 2026 15:42:58
Kalimuendo, really? On what basis?

1

01 Nov 2026 15:52:38
On the basis that if you think he's no good he's probably a genius. πŸ˜†.

2

01 Nov 2026 17:51:32
Cyclist are we playing rush goalies, 11 outfield players there mate, although probably be better off without the not so commanding Sels.
Just lit the blue touchpaper again.
Maybe just maybe the defence panics because they have Sels behind them.

0

01 Nov 2026 20:20:22
Exactly 1956, the defence isn't there for him under og system. And it shows but we're stuck with him because he has no competition for his place.

1

01 Nov 2026 22:35:09
There's just a typo where I forgot to delete the second MGW. There are 11 players and one there twice.

It's obviously just Decrap on his own, on the basis they they didn't seem to know (in spite of modern medicine and stats) what Wood was slowing down and not capable of playing 90mins now. We should have signed a yound up and coming striker. I think there's on e coming from Ireland in January.

Remember the name: Michael Noonan.

β€’ Competition: Forest beat off heavy interest from top European and Premier League clubs, including Ajax, Benfica, and Manchester United.

01 Nov 2026 14:00:49
Is Glasner doing a Nuno and trying to get the sack? What a massive stunt!

3

01 Nov 2026 14:05:41
"I feel I could see a few things from day number one. I feel now maybe I made too many compromises in some stuff. And it's always compromises. It's a clear way. I will tell what we want to do, what we have to do.

"And if the players buy in, I think we can have a turnaround. And if not, the sixth manager will come in. I have no consequences. I think you see that. For me, I go home and have breakfast with my family.

"Nobody needs to have pity with Oliver Glasner. If I want, I could start in two weeks somewhere else. I won't do it. But the players, the staff, they remain in the same situation.

2

01 Nov 2026 14:10:28
Think he is mate.

3

01 Nov 2026 14:13:19
A massive stunt? πŸ’―.

3

01 Nov 2026 15:43:07
It definitely rhymes with stuntπŸ‘.

1

01 Nov 2026 15:53:13
Absa clucking lutely.

1

01 Nov 2026 13:19:45
Let's not dress things up. The football is and has never been anywhere near acceptable under Glasner. Long pints from the keeper up to Delap who is always outnumbered. No proper width, no working midfield and defenders who cannot play 3 at the back. It's the same dross game after game. Anyone who honestly believes there has been improvement under Glasner is delusional I'm afraid.

The man is obtaining money masquerading as an elite manager.
It's Dycheball without any structure at best. Play to the strengths of your squad, don't stick with players and a system that clearly doesn't suit. never in my life have I been less bothered about going to the City ground and I never thought I would feel like that.

6

01 Nov 2026 14:04:45
It could be argued Fingers that it's basically Dycheball without the wins mate.
I remember the dour days of Chris Hughton, bollocking full backs from crossing the half way line.

4

01 Nov 2026 14:11:29
Honestly what a laughing stock we are.

3

01 Nov 2026 14:34:30
Sadly Stokey, so do I.

2

01 Nov 2026 16:51:59
We actually start games well with plenty of chances not taken or jyst the one and then after 30 mins wr give a goal away
Problem with schlager and mcatee in midfield its just to easy to run past them giving no protection to the defence.

0

01 Nov 2026 13:21:30
Had to re-register as you know I don't post much now. I have never heard the travelling fans in such uproar as yesterday. We are sick and tired of paying hard earned money to watch this utter crap.

The formation and tactics are completely wrong. Ndoye is a joke, how he gets picked week in week out is beyond me. Milenkovic looks shot to pieces. Our full backs are just that, full backs. They are not wing backs.

Whoever sanctioned the signing of Liam Delap needs to go to Specsavers. It's absolutely clear the players haven't bought into the new manager's thoughts.

MGW given what's happened to him in his private life looks completely shot. I don't blame him for that.

This is a relegation season unless the manager comes to his senses or the players accept it's OG way or no way. It looks like a clash between the two. The club is rotten inside out and that saddens me immensely.

Never have I seen before on this site so much agreement between us all. It's like we know and have accepted our fate.

I won't be travelling for a while and I expect to be bored stiff at home. The lack of goals is nothing I'm not surprised at. Woods legs have gone and Delap is league one at best. Sad times.

6

01 Nov 2026 13:53:11
Welcome back Frog, post more often mate. πŸ‘.

3

01 Nov 2026 14:31:18
Cheers RRH
What a calamity and never ending round of despair we are in. Is the OG statement yesterday comparable with the Nuno sacking interview ?
We will see.

3

01 Nov 2026 15:18:44
Nice to have you back Froggy. I'm not having a pop when I say this but as with anything if you don't like what you are seeing don't go or dont buy it, if everyone said did it things would change immediately.

2

01 Nov 2026 15:28:38
Well I'm not travelling again Larry for a while. The home games are a problem though having a season ticket. The football is atrocious.

2

01 Nov 2026 17:16:10
I think every forest supporter should walk out on five minutes against city anyway
The premier should of dished out their punishment by now
That won't happen, but if we are a shambles by half time again then the ground will start emptying fast.
