What a nerve wracking watch but at long last some calls go our way. A second string side in the FA cup to give Anderson et al a break. We cannot risk any of our main players.

One simple tactic to give us more cutting edge would be to play a proper no 10 alongside Jesus, whether that’s MGW or whoever but nobody can play in isolation as this poor lad is having to do.

Victor has played his last game for Forest, his shortcomings laid bare, first goal I dare say Sels would have saved and second would never have ever eventuated. A disastrous performance.

He was always an accident waiting to happen.

Total crap just like 90% of the tripe we wasted £200m on and Nuno never wanted.

2.) 03 Jan 2026 15:53:29
He never should be in goal for us.

3.) 03 Jan 2026 17:25:46
Correct as usual redfred.

Loved that performance, defensively just very solid, admittedly Spurs offered nothing but we didn’t allow them into the game. Stand outs for me were Jesus who did some great link up play and young Hutchinson who worked his socks off. Clean sheet for the defence and 3 goals, should have been 5 or 6.

Will be a tougher assignment at Fulham but if they play with that spirit we should get something from that game too. Brennan Johnson will be off in the January window, if he can’t get selected in that rabble of a team there is no point in staying.

I think it's been disengenrous of the pundits concentrating on Frank's problems! and not saying how well Forest played, that was some team performance from what I heard, and the highlights I've seen ?. Although Sangare will be a big loss for us now, Fulham have three players going to AFCON, two first team players, if we play like yesterday we will win.

2.) 15 Dec 2025 11:53:25
Same when we beat Liverpool, it wasn't about how well we played, just how poor Liverpool where
It's hard to get praise from pundits when you beat the big Boys.

3.) 15 Dec 2025 13:10:06
Absolutely right mate.

Think everyone needs to get off their horses, far too much pessimism. True we had a bad game, but we also had similar experiences under Nuno, so I’m not getting too carried away.

Think everyone needs to be realistic we're shite ?.

Good post SB. Disappointing performance but
Let’s look at the facts….
Everton are purring atm with Moyes ( in post over 2 seasons with an actual pre season and funding to hire players like Grealish, not like SD with 6 weeks under his belt and 3rd manager this season, picking up the pieces) and are 5 from top whereas as we were 5 from bottom
Everton had an extra days recovery whereas we had a game Wednesday night with travelling ( ie not much time to prepare and recover injuries). I’m assuming Everton flew to Bournemouth and back from John Lennon.

We have a massive injury list ( we were lucky in that regard under Nuno) including key players like Wood, Murillo, Aina Olna, Luiz, and now Yates. That’s without back up players like Zinchenko, Bakwa etc.
OK, I don’t absolve SD from errors of selection ( easy with hindsight) for yesterday including keeping the same starting 11 from Wolves. I’d have started Yates instead of Sanghere for example and CHO for Ndoye), but it’s easy from our armchairs isn’t it comrades.
Keep the faith. SD is our best chance in the situation we are in. Coyr!

3.) 07 Dec 2025 09:02:27
Stokey, I could not have put that better myself. Everton are on a high atm. Somehow they need Toto beat or draw with Spurs next Sunday to restore confidences all round, players and fans!

4.) 07 Dec 2025 09:19:28
One thing I'd add stokey, is we have to stop these individual errors, because that's what cost us the game
Also cut down on all this launching from sels, if we are going to keep doing that then no point playing three central midfielders, better with 442.

5.) 07 Dec 2025 17:55:49
Good points DTP. Dyche just needs time on the training ground. Look at what we achieved against Liverpool when SD had a two week international break to prepare. The few days will be like gold to him.

I’d just add that, while Everton were much the better team we got nowt from the ref. Savona booked after 30 seconds when I thought he got something on the ball and Grealish went down like he’s been shot, what’s that all about?

Plus Tarkowski should have seen red for a pretty straightforward violent conduct. That’s the same player who cleared a shot off the line when he shouldn’t have been on the pitch.

The ref may even have given them an assist for their breakaway second. The results of the official complaint will be interesting.

Remember also Everton haven’t had the extra Europa games to contend with. SDs biggest problem to solve is to have time to prepare and recover with his reserves depleted and key players injured. We looked knackered from the start yesterday…. but solving that problem is what he’s paid the big bucks for and what he’s personally equipped to do.

What a great turnaround under Sean Dyche, I’ve missed the last two games as a long planned trip to Oz to follow England in the Ashes has intervened.

The great results have improved the mood! I cannot help but think something went wrong with Nuno at the end of last season and that affected pre season in a very bad way, it’s like the weight of the world has been lifted from the players and they are enjoying their football again, long may it last!

Living the dyche dream. newbies getting fitter and more gametime and teamwork that's what was missing onwards and upwards for another 7 nil battering of Brighton ?.

2.) 29 Nov 2025 12:01:47
SB sounds like a dream trip. I hope you haven’t bought tickets for days 3, 4 and 5 though? ????
Skegs, I doubt very much it will be 7 nil mate. I never thought I’d say this but I think Brighton pose a much bigger threat than Liverpool atm.

They have beaten Chelsea, Newcastle and Manchester City. I’d take a draw or a spawny one nil gladly, even though we are at home. It will be tight ….

3.) 29 Nov 2025 14:44:54
Any win will do. Same goes for Wolves game.

4.) 29 Nov 2025 15:10:05
Stokey I know it won't be another 7 nil lol but the form were in at the minute I expect a few goals for us. nothing wrong with being a bit upbeat stokey. the teams in good form just enjoy it. and by the way any team at the minute possesses more bigger threats than Liverpool ??.

5.) 29 Nov 2025 18:29:28
We only score three in every game under dyche skeggsjay ??
Proper coach that shows his players where the net is and doesn't try shutting up shop after scoring a goal ???.

6.) 29 Nov 2025 19:13:30
Yes dtp a coach you didn't want ????.

7.) 29 Nov 2025 19:19:35
And neither did you tbh skeggs
At least you've stopped crying about your nuno
Onwards and upwards.

8.) 29 Nov 2025 19:35:55
It's not me that crys over nuno pal. it's you because he proved you wrong pal numerous managers of the month got us into Europe mate you will never get over him proving you so wrong ?? and I admit I didn't want dyche but if you look back at my comments I did say he's here now I will back him he's proved us both wrong pal.

but I can take that on the chin ? unlike you mate hope your enjoying your ub40 mate just let the nuno thing go and enjoy. and take the dart board down with nunos face on. he will be in forests history a long time after you've gone getting us back in to Europe ??????.

9.) 29 Nov 2025 20:27:47
Oh sorry you haven't got over him ????.

10.) 29 Nov 2025 21:01:39

I’m not so sure after his spell at Spurs his value has gone down rather than up. If he’s not getting games he will want out. Would be a great player in our squad, would get more game time at Forest.

Rotating CHO, Hutchinson and Johnson would give us real options. Dan Ndoye has struggled, made a bright start but has for some reason not established himself.

Would be a great fit for our side, has got goals in him, would be welcomed back into the club with a far stronger squad than he left. Must admit the last couple of games young Hutchinson has impressed me, not only with offensive work but tracking back also. Also Elanga struggling to impress, he will be the next one muted for a move.

Huge increase in capacity, finding a car park might be a challenge! Hope that the catering and toilet facilities are geared up accordingly, currently it’s a bloody scrum at half time. Personally I would be very happy with a 45, 000 stadium filled to the rafters every game. A bit of a change from the late 1970’s when 20, 000 was a big crowd!

Agree with DTP on MGW, he has been a liability this season. As for Sels he has not been on the front foot for some reason, too many crosses coming into the 6 yard box unchallenged and that is where most of the goals have come with a keeper rooted to his goalline.

I never mentioned Stone and Woan as any kind of Messi, are you completely sure you are a Forest supporter or just a perennial moaner?

Nobody thought much of the Nuno appointment, look how that turned out. I’m more optimistic and genuinely feel this fit is right with the ex Forest coaching team back home.
