Lot of ya will know it's my way of putting a point over, years now.
Anyway, for me, as soon as a coach/manager f*** knows what they are called these days. Gets hold of the dressing room, they are sacked.

Why, why, why. Do we do it? Or he.
Just frustrating. Not saying he may be best coach. But when you've got 3/4 of dressing room wanting to work for ya. Why get rid. Again my opinion like to hear yours?

You have read what the reporters have put: that Glasner wants them. Have you heard Glasner say he wants these signings? No. Ive heard him say hes very happy with the players he has. We are not going to just give extra money away, because they know we have money. Were not Man City, simples.

If we didn't get any players other than Schlager, where would we finish this season?
Every season, Forest dither with transfers.


We can open the purse strings for a £17 million pound player to be shipped to Greece. That's ok with Marinakis, though!

We finished 16th because we had Europe and not a big, classy squad to deal with it. Our best 11 last season, without Europe, would have been a top 8.

Trouble is, Ripley, it's not about supplying the coach with tools (most are btw), it's about supplying the boss Big M with results. Otherwise, round and round and round. I believe, as much as I love his euros, coaches are led into panic mode. Just my assumption on the last few years.

Glasner has certainly won more trophies than Howe, Vale, but not as many as VP.
Though, in mitigation, Howe has (like SD) mainly managed small clubs (until Newcastle), with little chance of major trophies.

I think he was restricted by the owners, more bothered about a new stadium in Newcastle than making the team a top six club. I doubt he'll be out of work for long, though not sure in the Premier League, more likely the Championship.

Don't know if anyone has seen this but a Brazilian defender Victor Gabriel has been banned for breaking an opponent's leg (Gabriel Pec), while it was expected, the suspension is for the period the victim is out injured for. Justice I say if the tackle was intentional. 🌳

In this country, if such a tackle is intended, it is a criminal assault; in the case of a broken leg, then GBH. I'm always amazed that there haven't been more arrests for crimes committed in sport. If you saw players fighting and scuffling on the pitch, like at the end of the World Cup final, for example, in this country, Police would be lawfully entitled to arrest for affray. Likewise, if you see someone beating a horse with a stick or whip in the street, it's arrestable. Because it takes place on a football field or a race course, it doesn't happen.


Famously, there was enough evidence to charge Roy Keane for the horror tackle on Alf Inger Harland (even though Harland didn't want to press charges), but the CPS and Police bottled it.
It's purely a matter of Police policy and lack of resources. If someone decided to have a judicial review into the legality of this policy, it would get very interesting. Would it be in the public interest to prosecute? It's only a matter of time before a horse race is stopped and jockeys prosecuted. It's no defence to say that it's justified because of the revenue accrued by the betting industry and taxes going into the public purse.
