No matter how you look at it. Even a new coach will struggle with us. We simply do not have players of strength and character. Every team that comes to the city ground look bigger stronger meaner faster fitter and well drilled. Each team has key player, a class above. We have no player who can stand tall and make the play, a key man. Take lawrence at Derby he was involved and made things happen, every team except us has this type. How carvallaho gets on the bench is an utter joke. We have recruited again in the window players from far and wide. But are they tough enough, wise enough and determined enough? We'll see. Watch boro on weds out beef us and out run us both physically and mentally.

Agree6 Disagree0

I don't think a new coach will struggle at all.
If you look at our players we have plenty who are well over 6 foot.
The problem lies directly with hughton.
The players heads drop everything we concede and that is down to the fact he doesn't instill any sort of confidence and can't even smile.
Just stands there arms folded.

A fair point 79 and i feel you are right. However that needs putting to the test.

Agreed FF.
Hughton acts like mannequin on the touch line. in fact a mannequin would probably do no worse the Chris TRex.

Said it for a while now rutland, we need a leader. They don't have to be big, fast etc (btw i think we have enough speed) the last player was ben Watson.

I think the coaching is all wrong at the club. Formations on passing the ball moving forward. Taylor is a joke as I've said on his arrival. Lolley one trick poney. Grabban looks lost under hughton. Mighten always looks p#ssed off to me when the camera is on him.

Why why why do we play samba . yates the kids fot fight but clueless with the ball. Brennan looks frustrated as if were sucking the life out of him. Which we are. I could go on and on. Just sick of it all.

The first thing a new coach needs to do is take the captaincy off grabban and give to Worrall.
You have to be seen to be orchestrating things on the pitch IMO.
Grabban and strikers in general I don't like to see as captains and I think grabban would benefit from having the burden and the whole team benefit from Worrall being club captain.

Forest have had the same problems for years before Ch, sabri, and the ten before them, our movement is sht our passing is laboured, to many times we get the ball where it needs to be and nobody has a brain or skill to do anything with the ball, strikers that will only shoot from six yards out and still miss plus don't have it in em to make a chance, so I hope when the new guy comes in he'll be able to put things right otherwise we'll be langushing in this league for the next twenty years, sorry for a moan but starting to loose the will to watch em.

It doesn't look like Houghton going anywhere when will fans learn the problem is not with the last 20 managers we've had its with the owners cvs and managers we've had in we should of been in premiership long time ago fact and a proper fact simple we live in the past full stop we have a or had owners that have had money to back us when we've needed it and hasn't happened you can carry on blaming next 20 managers but without the backing of the owners and money not going to happen john Terry lol rather stick with ch anyway where is maranakis where as he been oh yes with his dream team olympiacos we was only ever a reserve team to him wake up lol.

Can't agree Rutland. Our team is a lot better than it is showing. I'm not saying on paper we're nailed on for promotion, but we're definitely not a team that should be bottom 3. The buck stops with CH. The team look beaten before they kick a ball and its on him to change the mentality.

Skegs I think most of us know the owners have been the real problem, but billionaires willing to throw good money after bad are more difficult to find nowadays,

Skeg has hit the nail on the head.
Past and present owners have ruined Forest.
The current onwer Is running TWO CLUBS.
One is his true love the other (Forest) is a part time love affair.
Forest is a sinking ship.
Forest had great Pedigree but now it's a shadow of its former self.
A mediocre team if that.
The New CEO seems to have instilled trust in Hughton it seems yet he failed to obtain a decent striker and ended up panic buying at the last minute.
Each season has followed the same pattern.
New Manager, panic buying and falling further behind other team's.
Yes Hughton is too blame for where we are but ultimately the fault lies with the owner and whom he listens too and trusts.
I hate to say this but Derby will just scrape by and stay up but Forest have nailed the coffin shut for League one.
We all have speculative views about how the club is run but I believe we know Marinakis and Co will not bring any glory days back to the City Ground.
