Was surprised and slightly stunned by the lack of positivity on here regarding the possibility of Getting Billy Sharp to Forest.
Firstly, he is the type of player that excells at this level. His attitude and drive is first class. His determination to get the ball in the net is exemplilary, hence his consistant untouched goal tally in these leagues. Ppl were glowing about glen murray who is 36?
Sharp would come at around 500k to 1 mill, and be on a decent wage. But the opportunity to have and learn from the best striker since the turn of the centuary at this level cannot be over looked. Not just his goals but his utter 100% professional attitude drive and determination is what we crave, not the 13mil trialists and mavericks draughted in from foreign shores.

Agreed, I think Billy or Glen could do us a job till the end of the season for sure.
Grabban has done very well on his own up front all season and would be good to have some help, we would be in real trouble if he got injured. Mir is just best forgotten about, hasn't worked out for him in the UK at all.

We already lack pace all over the pitch would be just nice to add some that's why I'm against the sharp and Murray kind of player, surely we should be building the spine of a side that can survive the premiership not a side to get us there and then struggle beca8se we need a whole new 11.

Surely we had a few in mind before Billy Sharp came up don't seem to be doing there homework properly unless everything is all papertalk as usual.

Yes 79 that seems to be the case as he has been getting game time as a sub. Would rather him stay at sheff than go to one of our competitors!

Whilst I don't disagree with the opening post, it does seems as though it's been written either by Sharp's agent or his Mother.
