The season is over 46 games not 23 so your Christmas deadline is irrelevant ( abeit for you an improvement on your 10 games deadline from last season! )!
We made that mistake last season so hopefully Mr M and his Mini M's on this site will have learnt their lesson not to pull the trigger until we get at least a full season to evaluate progress. We have signed players that potentially are at entering their peak in terms of age so for once we should not be throwing out the baby with the bathwater but hosing down short term expectation?

Im not sure how much money you guys think forest have to spend? You realise we can’t spend whatever we want and have to account for the money. This years spending will have been accounted from the sale of Osborn and whatever money we had left over from last season. FFP is still a threat that looms large and we need to make sure we stay within, we also need to make sure we operate to make a profit rather than a loss, so that eventually we can get that “top quality striker†for me it’s much more important to build a balanced team than to buy one player and not get the service to him.
