Ok, comrades, by popular request, my riposte on various comments following the Leeds debacle.
Firstly, calm down dears. I’ve never seen such a comprehensive meltdown ( and joyous gloating in some cases) following the defeat. Many little typing fingers must be worn out with all those myriad offerings.
I make the following points
It was a dire performance undoubtedly. We were overpowered, out thought and outplayed by a better team on the night. Much like Leeds were back in November by us at the WFCG back in November ( and by the same score). At the time, Leeds fans were calling for Farkes dismissal. It’s amazing what you can achieve to turn things round if given time isn’t it?

WDWDL. Points gained 8 in 5 games. Conveniently forgotten in the mindless “Dyche out” mantra.

I expected, at best, a draw against Leeds, especially with our jury rigged defence and missing key players. Bear in mind, Leeds are strong at home. They’ve only lost 2 all season ( to Spurs and Villa narrowly) and dismantled Chelsea by the same score as us 3. 1.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing isn’t it? SD made reasonable selection decisions which, in the event, didn’t work. What if Netz had started ( with one training session only) and given goals away with poor positioning, putting players onside for example, due to lack of familiarity with his team. Confidence destroyed from the off. Plus young Abbott, playing at full back and out of position, had done well there against Man City in the League Cup semi plus in the Europa. He was unjustly excoriated by many on here when Leeds threw everything at him. Some of you lot think selection is easy like playing football manager.

Finally, I’m quite sanguine about the result ( God dammit, sorry, more big words ). By Wednesday evening we will be back to 6 points clear and build on that. So, for the serial bottlers on here ( you know who you are) just grow a pair, get behind the lads and the manager and trust the process. There will be setbacks, inevitably, but ……
“Out of this nettle, danger
We pluck this flower, safety”. COYR!

Only got one word for that stokey LOL.

Suguine? And reasonable selections? ????.

How fickle the mind can be ay Stokey? Did Arsenal not win there last week? Hmmmm, usually enjoy your long winded posts but that's just meandering around the point and that point being that Dyche fooked up with his lineup. He failed to react at half time and then the result was gone.

Basically gave them the three points with setting up to defend with two banks of five (ando sitting between the CBs and even Jesus slotting into midfield) , we were desperately narrow and gave away the flanks for them to run riot. The typical tactical intelligence shown by a red cabbage. ?.

Stokey, you're delusional if you thin DinoDyche is anything other than a throwback. HIs tactics are from a bygone era. Football has moved on.

We don't have short memories, we have long ones and those of us old enough can remember the 80s. This football would put you in the top four then. It's bottom five now.

Abbott has never done well at right back
Not sure what you see tbh
He's not premier league quality end of.

Stokey I can’t imagine I’ve read a more patronising bloated piece of literary posing in many years, not really sure who you think you are addressing, it was so flowery and boring, I have to admit I couldn’t be bothered to read the entire post, what a poseur,

Stokey you can't kid a kidder
You can try all you like to be superior
You'll never win
And as can be seen with your one man dyche fan club aren't successful.

Stokie is relentless dtp and Stevie. Trying to baffle seasoned grass roots supporters with another long winded waffle extravaganza full of big words and boring book quotes, just because he got it wrong about Dyche. He won't let it go because we are all minions in the wake of his superior intelligence.

Stokey the wise old sage attempts to blind us with words.

Stokey the old sage attempts to blind us with words and literature.

Stokey the Sage attempts to mislead us with his words, but his waffle bombs are ineffective, representing nothing more than grass seeds on barren land.
