Right reds, I'd like to address a few things on the site. Starting with the constant accusations about certain posters being the enemy, clearly they are not and they are entitled to their opinions as much as you are. You may not like it but suck it up buttercup. As for the constant attacks regarding someones beliefs, its out of order, get a grip, you know who you are and you jump on honest peoples attempts to clarify their feelings.
Take a leaf out of Stokeys book and post, post again and post again trying to reiterate your point. Sorry mate couldn't resist. But its seriously getting sad on here, we're all entitled to say what we think and what we see (through our own eyes).
Basically we're all reds, fantastic result yesterday played in the style of last seasons successes, two mangers born from the same mould maybe.
Taiwo is a hero, kept us up in his first season, last season he was put on the back burner due to woodys fantastic form and when he was called apon he literally gave everything including his health. I don't think I've ever celebrated as much as his goal today. A fantastic goal for a fantastic guy.
Anyway, a slightly drunken post from a guy enjoying his holiday in eden. Stop the bitchin, stop questioning peoples loyalty and let people have opinions without being a complete Richard Head. ?.

One particular poster thinks that everyone is a woolly back if someone thinks we are going to lose.

Your post is spot Red Robin. There seems to be differences of opion what supporting you club means lately. Because some of us disagree about the state our club is in i. e. 4th from bottom.
We are labeled non supporters
Born and bred in Nottingham so growing up decided to support my local team and not jump on the Man Utd or Liverpool bandwagon like many around the country.
Support means going through the turnstiles and contributing money to the club's growth.
If you've never been to games your not a supporter your a follower. So as I allegedly hide behind my recliner, I'll ask how many games have these folk been to who criticise from afar. Now Bowie has been to scores of games but lives in Newcastle. He can do it. Just think on some of you. Glory hunting is frowned on by the majority.

Apologies from me I just love this club and always will❤️.

100% agree Larry, I had my first Forest shirt as a 6 month old from my grandad. I’m now 56. I inherited the club - my first match as a young boy was in the old second division as a 6 year old. But one poster thinks he’s above all that.
I support - but importantly I don’t happy clap. If it’s a poor performance I call it as it is. That poster knows who he is and he should decease and apologise immediately.

Like all football clubs anywhere you have a cross section of life, fans who go to every match whether they can afford to or not their club means more to them than their everyday life and that's great for them but don't try to justify being a true fan by how many pound notes you've donated to your clubs coffers. Plus if you have different outlook on the way your club plays that's your opinions and does not define your affiliation to that club or any other club.
I was hoping for Man Utd to win last night because I want Villa to win the Premier now that doesn't mean I'm any less a true Forest fan I'M A FOOTBALL FAN WHO FOLLOWS THE MIGHTY REDS wake up you lot come together and some of you get a life ??.

Spot on as usual Froggy. I took great pleasure in handing over to my eldest grandson. My scarf I wore at both European Cup finals and all of the preceding legs leading up to them. He wears it with pride at every match and The club did a little social media post about it too.
I also gave him my collection of programmes going back to 1965.
Great names in them. Joe Baker, Frank Wignall, Peter Grummit, Ian Storey -Moore to name a few. I'll take no lectures about recliners. I brought a bungalow in Skegness and retired because I worked all my life and made it possible. I've definitely done my bit boys, I can assure you.

Good post Red Robin
Oddly enough I was saying to Lego the other evening that I was going to resolve to post less because of a sense of ennui ( if only the French had an equivalent word for tediousness eh? ), and time being wasted. I do have a recurring vision of Skeggs/ Larry/ DTP and myself as the couple in the famous Walter Sickert painting! ??????
Seriously, Larry, I have to agree with your last post. With a Mum from the Meadows and a Forest supporting Dad from Radford it was always going to be the Reds I followed. First City Ground visit when I was 9 (he made me a red and white painted wooden box to stand on so I could see). I was hooked. There’s a photo of me around that age with a full Forest kit ( long before you could buy them) with a red stripe down my white shorts sewed on by my Mum and the old Forest badge courtesy of my Uncle Bob who was on Forests books for a while.
He got me an autograph book with all the teams signatures too, both of which I've still got.
Nick Hornby in his book “ Fever Pitch” about his life long passion for Arsenal says it started because he was taken as a kid to Highbury to see a game and he compares it to a newly hatched duckling seeing a dog and, because it’s the first thing its seen, assumes it’s his mother. Which rings true I think….
Ramble over…. I’m going to restrict myself to one post a game. Starting on Brentford. After all, as I’ve said before, it matters not a jot what we say on here, our fate ( and SD’s ) is in the hands of a big Greek guy. It’s like we are all a group of bald men arguing over a comb……
But we all share the same love, our glorious club despite the frictions. I mean, has anybody had a lifelong true love that hasn’t had its arguments and failings out? Coyr!

Good post Stokey. They were great days. In at 1.30pm every Saturday, no crap p. a. system pumping out distorted white noise and crap records, just rival fans singing at each other for an hour and half and that famous football humour in the chants is unique. ?.
