I saw her at De Montfort Hall in the late 1980’s. A slip of a girl with a stool to sit on, a mic and a guitar (which appeared to be as big as she was) wearing dungarees, she was absolutely mesmerising.
Her song “ Tom’s Diner” is as near perfect as can be….
