Ok reds tell me the players and system you'd rather play? From the one dyche is playing.
05 Jan 2026 19:21:45
One where we press in their half instead of sitting back and asking for trouble?
05 Jan 2026 19:27:13
I'd go for the 'usual' 4 at the back and then an old-fashioned diamond shape in midfield (as Billy used) with 2 up front.
Kind of irrelevant though as I'm not sure we even have 2 fit and decent strikers available.
05 Jan 2026 19:27:46
Sels.
Aina, Serbinater, Murillo, Williams.
Anderson.
Domínguez, MGW.
Ndoye, Cho.
Jesus.
4-1-2-2-1
Not sitting back and waiting to get beaten. Press high, fast and hard, Anderson sits deeper in the hole as he does for England, Domínguez as the box to box and MGW as a creative eight, similar to the way Rogers plays for England. Picked Ndoye because his work rate is better than Hutchinsons and if CHO didn't chase back I'd swap him for Taiwo. First and foremost is effort and energy, if they don't do it for the manager they don't represent our club. Simple as that. ?.
05 Jan 2026 19:45:05
Plus play out from the back and keep the ball on the grass where it's meant to be played.
05 Jan 2026 19:47:18
Oh and once their all out of puff, put on every defensively minded player we have on and defend our four goal lead with some handbrake firmly pulled up as far as possible bus conductor tactics. This is only because our scatter gun approach to transfers leaves us desperately short in forward positions. ?.
05 Jan 2026 20:21:41
You missed out the empty stadium abd forest fans singing to nuno
Your getting sacked in the morning ????.
05 Jan 2026 20:25:13
My Formation. 2-6-8-3-1.
The opposition won't know what hit them!
???.
05 Jan 2026 20:46:17
Edus getting sacked in the morning ??? good old maranakis he must of been reading my posts ??.
05 Jan 2026 21:11:34
Read it skeggs all it says is he's coming under pressure with doubts over his long term future after forest have list 4 on the bounce
So?
05 Jan 2026 21:15:31
What difference will that make to forests results skeggs?
05 Jan 2026 22:26:42
I actually think pressing is always part of dyches game plan dtp? Trouble is, most can't string 2 x passes. The other couldn't put a cross, or set piece if they tried. As for finishing it's a joke. you agree on players after that statement or dyche football. This again I ask of you all?
05 Jan 2026 22:37:16
?? you keep going on about nuno getting sacked tomorrow for some reason. So you can prove a point. what point lol he's already done his job at forest got us into Europe a place where we thought or u thought I'd probably never see us again. so let me ask you what difference will it make to forest results if nuno gets sacked tmoz.
it might make you happy in your own little weird way but I want him to stay there he's doing nothing with them which is helping us or am I missing something. A new manager might give them a lift. ? and I thought you was a forest fan obviously just when it suits you being right or wrong.
05 Jan 2026 22:43:52
We need to get 3 points tomorrow night. A point doesn't do much for us we need to get that gap we had back.
06 Jan 2026 00:02:09
Murillo
Murillo Murrillo Murillo Murillo
Murillo Yates Anderson Murillo
Murillo Sherringham.
06 Jan 2026 00:12:40
Yep Silk if we don't win tomorrow its sack DTP (please please Eds?), Edu and the Cretaceous period style Dyche insists on playing. ?.
06 Jan 2026 03:27:13
I'd try Barnstoneworth Utd tactics, recall Shilton, Pearcey, Bohemian, Stone, McKenzie, Collymore, Method etc all could give a lesson in winning games, even today? all football artists ??️.
Back to ?.
06 Jan 2026 08:44:15
Haven't you got to get the tables and chairs ready for the rest of the children on live chat redrobin now that skeggs has promoted you to head prefect? ????.
06 Jan 2026 10:49:21
Ah the obsession with live chat rears it's head once again. Is it because we have a laugh? Or mainly down to you not being involved until you come on to abuse us all? And FYI i turned down the head prefect position because i'm not a grass unlike some. ??.
06 Jan 2026 11:01:37
DTP “ play out from the back”? Noooooooooo!
A disastrous plan. Have a look at the League table again. We are just keeping afloat. When SD arrived we were below the waves. But at least with your plan the deckchairs on the Titanic will look nice ………??.
06 Jan 2026 11:09:19
There's no getting to you ????.
06 Jan 2026 11:59:01
So what's your plan then stokey?
Boot it long to jesus?
That's worked really well hasn't it?
We now have our best two fullbacks playing so need to play out and use them not bypass them.
06 Jan 2026 13:24:23
I’d do what SD is doing DTP. Mix it up, pragmatic, organised, hard to beat ( that’s the plan anyway). As I’ve said before, mate, you start with a false premise because we are not a long ball team generally. Hence my question (which you side stepped superbly by the way) about how many goals we’d scored from a long lump upfield.
Just cast your mind back to Tony Pulis’s Stoke City and the Crazy Gang at Wimbledon. We are nothing like that. Perhaps our definitions of “lump it up”are different, I’m just don’t recognise your description.
Or Larry B’s either.
We can experiment with styles when we are safely mid table or in pre season, but we’ll need more skilful ( and expensive) players. Only Murillo, Luiz and Anderson have that particular skill set ( even then Anderson gave a goal away at Newcastle passing out from the back). He does it well for England because he has world class players around him who do it week in and week out like Rice at Arsenal for example.
06 Jan 2026 17:15:58
I answered your question stokey not sidestepped it
All we've done for last few games is hump the ball to jesus in the air on the halfway line, if that's not hoof ball I don't know what is
All we did by doing that was to create more pressure
Maybe you watched a different game to nearly everyone else?
