Amazing what you can do with a proper, physical striker with pace and movement who causes danger. The Everton centre backs looked feeble.

Agree1 Disagree0

I’d imagine that’s first on the incoming list Red Hot, with Wood out and Taiwo past it at this level. A big centre forward is a key component of all Dyche teams.

04 Jan 2026 17:56:06
He'll be gone in the summer stokey at the latest, we won't buy players to suit route one.

04 Jan 2026 18:09:19
There is no one of any use available that will come - be wasting our money on yet another mediocre signing.

04 Jan 2026 18:13:11
Rhr did tiago have to play with his back to goal and have to pluck every ball out the sky to get his hatrick?
He would if he played for us.

04 Jan 2026 18:37:10
I doubt it DTP …….

04 Jan 2026 19:15:30
Stokey no matter what happens dyche won't be in charge next season.

04 Jan 2026 19:18:16
I'd go all-in to get Sam Surridge back. Very under-utilised at Forest first time around, despite his obvious talent and eye for goal. 6 ft 3" and still only 27 years old. I think that we'd get him at a reasonable price and he'd bite our hands off to be given the chance to prove himself again at Forest.

04 Jan 2026 19:36:18
Good shout Lego, as you say he never really got a chance at Forest. Clever, mobile centre forward who always put a shift in. I think we will only need a couple of incomings tops this window, ideally Strand Larson from Wolves and perhaps O’ Neill from Everton. Having said that mate, with our owner, we are a basket case of a club that isn’t particularly attractive to arrive at.

Outgoings, either on loan or permanent, for me Ndoye, Morato, Victor, Mcatee. Let Dyche run the rule on Cunha and Cubiano?
DTP, saying Dyche won’t be here next week, next month, next season is becoming a bit of an empty and meaningless mantra and a bit tedious mate. You may be right, who knows, but I doubt it very much…….

04 Jan 2026 20:08:12
Sam surrige oh dear we are in trouble ???.

04 Jan 2026 20:46:21
Who would you put forward DTP. Bear in mind we have Europa commitments and FA Cup to come…….

04 Jan 2026 21:00:23
Doesn't matter who i think, all I know is surrige won't be coming and dyche won't get a say in who comes in or out.

04 Jan 2026 21:21:07
Dtp would bring back is amazing player. carvahallo ?? it doesn't matter who we or the manager would bring in edu has got his eye on more shite signings.

04 Jan 2026 21:50:13
DTP - do you actually realise how negative you come across on this site? I hope for your sake that your persona on here is not a reflection of your everyday life. If it is, I feel sorry for you.

How many high-quality players do you think Forest can attract? I think Surridge could be a really good buy for us.

04 Jan 2026 22:12:07
Patrik Schick, HarisTabaković, Fisnik Asllani, Mason Greenwood (i know i denounced him previously but he's ripping it up this season). Four there that are a huge upgrade on what we have and add Victor Osimhen to that list. ?.

04 Jan 2026 22:16:35
And Sturrige, please no, think outside the box gentlemen, there's thousands of forwards out there. Rambling on about failed previous players is boring ?, sorry couldn't help myself with a wee dig. ?.

04 Jan 2026 22:59:53
No need to feel sorry for me then lego ??
Got a nice life thank you.

05 Jan 2026 00:11:03
DTP - that's good to hear. Shame you can't reflect that on this site.

Winter - I don't think Surridge was ever a 'failure' for us. I think he was a talent that we never utilised enough. What are Forest supposed to do atm? Rely on Jesus, who doesn't fit in with the Forest-way and will probably go down injured within the next few games (the guy is being slaughtered in every game. ). Bringing Surridge back into the fold I think is thinking outside the box.

While I understand Lego's preference for sharing positive posts, I believe everyone should be free to express their opinions, whether positive or negative. We all have different perspectives.
After all opinions vary.

05 Jan 2026 10:36:48
Lego why Sturrige? Why not bring back Britt Assombalonga way better performer for us. Obsessing over failed has beens. Personally i would have given Kalimuendo more of a chance but i suppose i wouldn't have fitted in the Dyches Cretaceous ball. ?.

05 Jan 2026 11:03:07
Red Robin a brilliant post giving some alternative options as to signings rather than dismissing every players and manager in a Red shirt without suggesting other options. I like positives not negatives….

05 Jan 2026 11:36:17
Freedom of expression is restricted in the UK, Ripley.

05 Jan 2026 16:53:55
No it’s not, Silk, unkess you express something that threatening, abusive or insulting ( Public Order Act 1936 section 4) or likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress to a person of reasonable firmness ( Section 5).
Say what you like but if you threaten to burn someone’s house down for example, don’t be surprised to find yourself in court.

Note the date of the Act. It was brought in to combat Oswald Mosley’s Nazi blackshirts. Nothings changed for 90 years mate.
