I know a lot on here have give up with international football, and i think from what iv'e read in the past the same with fa cup and league cup. why because we can't keep up with the big money teams? I was totally entertained with the midweek stockport v bolton game. I live for the game as a lot of you do. There dreams are the next round hoping to bring in money against a premier/ championship club. And good on them. And as we said there fans. again the game brings togetherness with city's, towns, communitys. That this great country brings. I love watching any league game especially derbys. Just saying.

Totally agree Bowie Cup games and World cups games are a joke now fans don't mind winning it but they don't think lower teams should be in it fa Cup use to be highlight of the year now big teams play second fiddle teams spoilt the Cup its all about money now a days forget about the fans of any lower league teams.

The FA Cup is all about the lower league teams for me, routing for the underdog. It only get boring when you get in to round 4.

In my opinion the top half of the prem if not all the prem should be banned from entry into the FA cup, the top team don't really want the to play in it and they disrespect it. The gulf has now got so wide between even the middle to bottom teams in the prem and the lower leagues that the chances of a upset are virtually nil these days and that was the beauty of the FA cup. Even today’s pitchers are made for prem teams not that playing on snooker tables is a bad thing, but it certainly takes an advantage away from a team when that team are used to playing on a sh## heep as used to happen, I know what a lot of you will say and that’s it’ll take the money away from the cup not having the big boys in it, but if the right structure can be found, ie all gate money from every cup game into a pot, prize money sorted for quarter finals to winners, then the rest evenly distributed between all others teams taking part or something like that, anything just to get as Bowie would say the love back into this once great cup of ours. Sorry to go on people, but the state of this FA up is a strong and sore point with me, I used to love it, and would again IF most team’s had a chance to win it, and not just the six or seven teams that win it now days, rant over.

Love that point on the pitches being like snooker tables dreamteam mate. Gone are the days of overgrown grass. And good hard tackles. Always made up for fancy football. Especially with heavy rain. Players are insured for stupid money now, and soft as sh#te. And the rules are made to suite premier clubs.
