I think Laurent of Reading played for Shrewsbury a couple of seasons ago. Why can’t we pick up gems like that rather than tripe like Arter, Bong and Jenkinson?
There are players in the lower leagues that just need a chance. Instead our transfer policy has been to sign Portuguese rubbish, Olympiacos cast offs and expensive washed up misfits that nobody else wants.

Not at all 79, I hadn’t monitored him but clearly Reading knew something that we didn’t. Hope our new CEO starts to put some plans in place so that we can start to uncover a gem or two.

Hi skegs eventually got my long awaited move to my retirement bungalow in ingoldmells after a year of collapsed deals and woes.
