Riberio was no great shakes, committed yes but a hot head with no end product. Crosses were shocking and once forward could never get back. Leftfooted was all he had going for him as a left back.

Riberio is nowhere near good enough only 3 assists from 59 games for an attacking left back, he was poor in the air lacked strength and his crossing was awful, he always looked to struggle but he did put a shift in, the problem obviously lies with the recruitment team and management who have known what the situation at LB was going to be 6 moths ago.
