With the squad we've got atm, regardless of incomings, we've still got a mid table ish group IMO. A team such as Samba, Gabriel Worrall, McKenna Blackett, Yates and Fornah, wide players Mighten and Lolley, up top Taylor? Attacking midfielder Johnson. That leaves back up in the form of Horvath and Smith in goal, full backs a bit light Richardson and Jenkinson ( I know one is untried Academy and one is in the bomb squad) . Midfield Colback and Cafu, light on attacking midfielders just Grabban Carvalho, wingers Swann, Konate. So something to work with I think Taylor will come good? Thoughts (ive got me tin hat on, fire away)! 😄.

Meant to add Mbe Soh and young Baba Fernandez look good as cover at centre back. So that’s a squad with a lot of young promising players blended with some experience. About right numerically squad size as well.

Agree Stokey with the option to bring in 2 or 3 when the transfer market has settled.

I agree SR . Successful teams do not flood their tabs with new players undermining the moral of the team as happened with us last season . Brentford are a prime example of how to sell their strikers buy a new one and get promoted . Leeds equally so . I would much prefer to see a settled team with a mix of youth and senior fight each game and end the season a good deal higher than last . Creating a high moral in a team is so important and surely is the bedrock for success.
