I love my football, but this morning I'm a very sad England supporter, and I don't mean with the result last night, In an earlier post I wrote how proud I was to be English, we this morning I'm not quite so sure, I feel sick in my stomach about the abuse given to the three ENGLAND players, yes ENGLAND players, not BLACK not WHITE, ENGLAND players, some people out there should be absolutely ashamed of themselves.
Im really thinking of trying too disassociate myself from football altogether, on behalf of all descent football fans I would like to apologise to the three lads who were brave enough to take the pens, I'm sad for football and civilisation in general, black, white it's just a colour, we all SHOULD have HARTS, and mine is very sad this morning. ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ¥ó ®ó §ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ¥ó ®ó §ó ¿

Absolutely agree, the vile racist filth these lads have had to endure (along with others) is now wearing thin with many decent like minded people as us. Enough is enough, stop now. It’s not the colour of your skin that makes you, it’s the heart that lies within. I’m proud of Saka and the rest of the lads, proud of England but not proud of the racist minority causing all this trouble.

Dream its social media. These players get paid handsomely for having large followings. If you want to expose yourself to abuse open an account. Its a shame that the focus of all the media even our prime minister are getting involved and giving these idiots the oxygen of publicity. They can't have it both ways. SM is poison you expose yourself and the idiots will find you. This backlash goes deeper than just skin tone. I feel southgate exposed these kids and should have stamped his authority rather than pandering to them right from the get go. Personally i think the sm companies should be responsible for any insulting messages and closed down if they fail to control their followers thsts the only way. This country has many nasty cowards and you will not stop them.

Rutland you are correct, when you are on social media you open your world up to millions upon millions of people. and plenty of potential psychopaths and assorted sicko cyber warriors, and sadly to the vile abuse that has been reported today, however this is not the sole problem of football and certainly not unique to this great country of ours, seem to even remember some comments on here suggesting that they wouldn’t be bothered if a bloke died of c.v. because they didn’t agree with his politics, and referring to him, and people that voted for him as ‘ scum’ so stones and glass houses and all that,
