Just like to say if what I read on here is a sample of what we get after 1 defeat in 11, i dread to think what it would be like if we go on another bad run, lol,

Agree6 Disagree0

14 Feb 2021 21:37:51
got to agree with you, should the great and the good get there wish and houghton gets the push who would they like in. no decent manager would come in with our dof and the prince running the show. houghtons working with one hand tied behind his back so let's cut him some slack and get behind him.

14 Feb 2021 21:52:05
Cut some slack and get behind him? 🤣🤣
Dont you just love the English language.

14 Feb 2021 22:05:42
Simple 65 I have a higher opinion of ch than that, I don’t think he would have took the job on without having a free hand,

14 Feb 2021 22:21:01
sorry 79 for my definition of our proud language, ill make more simple for all. what i ment was stop slagging him off and support the man. should we ever get back in the city and houghton is still there i'm sure you can vent your frustration by vacating your seat and stopping off. but what we must remember it won't make any difference, the greek do not care.

14 Feb 2021 22:46:24
He has a free hand stevie.
Its the other one tied behind his back 🤣🤣🤣.

15 Feb 2021 08:14:03
Not for me thanks. I want to watch football, not test cricket. If this Forest side were an opening batsman, they'd have 2 runs after 50 balls, both singles of course. At the weekend, Bournemouth were there for the taking, but we stuck with Freeman and Murray, when Mighten and Taylor could maybe have made the difference. The intent to win games just isn't there. Why would any forest fan support the intent NOT to win a winnable game?

15 Feb 2021 08:18:33
I think maybe the site just reflects society, and certainly the media, negative, always looking to blame, any piece of positive news has to have a negative spin given to it, nobody seems to get credit for anything, but the finger of blame always quickly pointed,

15 Feb 2021 09:15:54
We all saw on Sat, for the last 10 games Forest were 3rd in the form table, that is quite some achievement considering where we were.

Picking up results when you are struggling for form and near the bottom of the table is no easy task. I think it was just Brentford and Swansea above us

Do you want to try and play end to end football and play next season in League One like Wycombe or keep things tight as we have been and maintain Championship status for next season.

You can see confidence is gradually improving, CH has has done a great job in turning things round, I am pretty sure any other manager would tell you the same.

15 Feb 2021 09:33:08
Gazzared if we had opened up midfield we would have lost, giving the likes of wilshire free reign at this level is a dangerous game, at the moment keeping the run going, picking up points is what we need to do, it builds confidence and team spirit, it also drags mid table teams closer, and the more teams in the mix at the bottom half the better, give the bloke a chance he’s trying to build something, I dug out cloughs 1st ever programme notes after he took over, he wasn’t promising ‘champagne football, promotion, anytime soon, and hughton ( not in the same cosmos) shouldn’t be expected to either give it Time,

15 Feb 2021 09:41:09
Our club is not going to get promoted this season, and I am sorry to disappoint some people. Might we get relegated? It is not beyond the realms of possibility . So do we play fast flowing potentially exciting football throwing caution to the wing aka Kevin Keegan and Newcastle?
Football is meant to entertain but it is a business and relegation would be financially crippling. CH did it with Brighton and he will do the same for us .

Last 12 Championship games - P12 W6 D5 L1 F15 A6

Highest league position of the season - 16th.

What do some fans expect at this moment? Ridiculous.

15 Feb 2021 10:56:52
Youve lost me with keegan.
He was very successful and got mancity promotion to the premier as well scoring over a hundred goals
I'll take his style of football and relative success all day long.

15 Feb 2021 12:47:47
Gingerkid Ian Holloway has given him his approval of what he has done so far, so you are right there.

There is no reason why a team can not play decent football and have a similar, if not better record as the team has got thus far.

Decent football does not have to mean a open defence it is about getting the balance right.

The manager has worked to organise the team to achieve what they have but who is to say the team could not have been organised to play in a different way and achieve what has been achieved already.

15 Feb 2021 13:04:15
Man City goal the other day, Ederson long ball straight to Gundogan, goal. Boring long ball stuff 😂 Sack Pep.

15 Feb 2021 14:19:27
How many of these so called entertaining games do you see these days prem or championship NOT many per season, wish someone would tell me when there going to be on the TV. 🤔🥱.

15 Feb 2021 14:44:42
Theres plenty dreamteam especially in the prem.
Arsenal leeds 6 goals
That not enough?
Seeing scott parker taking his struggling fulham to high riding Everton and playing em off the park, very refreshing young manager and approach to football.

15 Feb 2021 15:03:17
GF, we were shipping in goals every single game, we have got better at that by keeping things tight and our shape.

It has to start with defence and not losing and gradually build on that. You could see earlier on in the season the confidence was shot and if we conceded early it was game over for us.

I just don't understand how people think we can transform from that to playing expansive football without jeopardising Champ status, that has to be the goal this season now surely.

Of course ideally we all want to see fast free flowing attacking football, who wouldn't but that takes time and the right players to build it with.

People just slamming CH week in week out when he is actually producing results is nothing more than child behaviour like I'm afraid.

15 Feb 2021 15:11:33
Perks i did not see the Man City game.

Please inform all of us how much of their game contained long balls?

I think a good seventy percent of their game would have been good football, i'm guessing of course.

There is nothing wrong with mixing it up to keep the other team guessing.

Finally as you have used Man City as a way of making your point, Pep would always go for the win which is more than our manager would do as he admitted in his interview after Bournemouth.

15 Feb 2021 15:54:05
Gingerkid the team have some very tough games coming up if most of those are draws then Forest will be in the mire.

Yes the defence needed tightening up but even with the managers way of playing it did not go that well to begin with.

You seem to think i'm asking for a dramatic change of the way team were playing in the early stages of the managers tenure.

All i was hoping for was the team to play more positive than they were, which let's face would not have been hard.

The team had lost confidence but how much was that down to what happened behind the scenes.?

I can not see why the players would not have been a bit happier to get to play in a more positive way and therefore had more confidence.

At the end of the day the way we have both responded shows how diverse the way people think.

Just because someone wants the team to play with more positivity it does not mean that means they expect silky skills and dominating other teams, making the other team look amateurish.

You have gone to the extreme in what i was thinking.

15 Feb 2021 15:57:08
Not playing expansive football is one thing.
Not playing with the intent to win is another.

15 Feb 2021 17:05:20
Ff79 most prem games are as dull as dishwater, slow boring possession, get a corner and pass it back to your keeper, 6 goals in the arsenal game fair enough, but it was over by half time as a match, ruined by foreign coaches, go a goal up and pass it round you own back four for an hour, the vast majority of games are total mismatches, where financially outgunned teams play damage limitation for 90 mins, our top level game has been hijacked and ruined by money men, have a look at the big match revisited on Saturday mornings, 70’s football, proper English football, not as technically proficient but exciting end to end stuff, sadly never to be seen again, meanwhile, sideways backwards, sideways backwards, zzzzzzzz.

15 Feb 2021 18:42:31
Didnt bother you watching forest go sideways and backwards with an english coach old enough to know better?
