We should not be looking to Scotland as McGinn apart who was an estd Premier league player the rest take too long to develop and I cannot recall the last Scottish striker that came south and took a team up? League 1 is more competitive!
There are a number of mid 20's out of contract players that would add quality plus some lower English league up and comings.
We need some creativity in midfield so for me it's either a couple of quality loans or an inspired established foreign playmaker signing?
There are plenty of affordable keepers around to push The Big Man.
We now have a solid base to work from so MON needs to use his experience to pick out a few gems and Dourekas needs to prove he is up to the job in landing the right deals!

MON/RK will already have set out definite targets. Very few if any of the journo suggestions will be even remotely considered. My guess is that most people will be surprised by the 3 or 4 signings we do make, but it will be part of the plan agreed with the owner. As we all have been saying, getting rid of the dead wood will be the most difficult task, so some luck will be needed there.
