There's a rule about how much your squad can be worth compared to turnover or something along those lines, so it could be down to that

Ufea financial fair play, DTP is spot on, its not just the value of the squad but wages also. So i get Zinchenko but not Hutchinson. Strange decision imo but i would imagine that the powers that be checked over Nunos squad and signed it off so maybe a forthcoming statement from the club world help. ?.

Thinking back to when I came on the site, a player named Lewis Grabban semed to pick up some stick on here. I remember a post sent in backing him to do well 'this season'. And guess what? He did!

The UEFA FFP rule is not about who is in the squad. It's about the whole club being within certain financial rules. If you break them you get a fine off UEFA like some clubs already have.

I don't really understand all the rules and regulations regarding the squads, but let's not forget about the premier League, I for one don't want forest to get relegated for the sake of a cup. i would much prefer a strong league squad, after all we're not pulling up any trees yet. It's just the way I see it. no wish to offend.

The Europa League is so important because the winners qualify for the Champions League next season.
Forest have the most valuable squad in the competition according to TransferMrkt. That means Marinakis will expect us to have a go at winning it. We are an ambitious club with ambitious owners.

Mr M will be expecting us to do well in Europe, I am very surprised about the Uefa squad but as others have said the uefa squad rules are more stringent as other teams have found out. Hoping Nuno not playing games and being stubborn, but if edu has bought players in without discussing it with Nuno it is his choice in the squad he selects for the competition, I doubt if edu or Mr m would have to sign off on the squad that the manager selects.
