If you hypothetically take the first of each position as the starting eleven, that leaves 14 squad players, with a match day bench of 9. Presumably, Smith, Cafu, Colback, Mbe Soh and Richards will miss out, so the bench is:
Hennessey
Biancone
Cook
Kouyaté
Yates
O’Brien
MGW
Dennis
Surridge
Yates to be replaced by Cafu, say, until fully fit.
I’d take that bench any day of the week. Yes, they need to gel and get used to playing together, but I can remember such a strong forest squad on paper.

Superb posts Irish. Many thanks, it has been tricky to keep up with all the incomings ( and outgoings) . Here’s one for your brilliant analytical mind mate, what’s the squads ( and later the Everton starting 11) average age? I’d think it would be around 25? ???.

If you discount Lyle Taylor and Alex Mighten, the 25-man squad averages out at 25.9 years old. Blame Wayne Hennessey for driving it up lol.

Hennessey, Cook, Kouyaté, Colback and Freuler are the only players in their 30's.
Gone are the days of signing Gary Holt, Nicky Eaden and Darius Henderson. We'd more than likely make a profit on every single one of them. Onwards and upwards.

Great signing hennesey feel for the lad though hows he ever going to get a game. Probably cup games i know but wow great back up.
