I think the january window is strange thing. Usually just a desperation game as it nears its closure. With settled squad we have right now I doubt we need any additions. Yeah a decent thoroughbred striker but they are rarely available this time of year if at all. So the March up the league has developed through good management, better players technically and a feeling of togetherness. Do we spoil that with a hasty influx or stick with the players that have got us this far. Selling Johnson makes no sense unless Cooper is thinking of pushing spence further up the pitch but as an attacking wing back he excellent left there. If Johnson won't sign a new contract I'm sure he has enough left on his existing to shoehorn him into staying this season then review things where ever we are come May.
I think a clear out this window would be more beneficial than more additions. This team under Cooper is mounting a solid challenge and more wood could easily disguise the trees!!!

Both Carvalho and Taylor are leaving, Carvalho is a permanent deal, and Taylor is a loan that saves on big wages.
I do not want to see many players signing for us, one maybe two more players.
