Hello since 1951
I agree today we were not good enough.
I'm stating that the present system is so unfair to the other clubs.
As it stands the quality in the Fulham side was on a different level to what Forest could offer.
All financed by the money from the parachute payments.
If you look at what money was spent on transfers in the Championship compare what Fulham spent to the rest of use.
So yes it is quite a good excuse.
Forest are controlled by what they generate. If Marinakas could spend more I'm sure he would.
So if the present system isn't changed most clubs unless they are extremely lucky putting a decent team together will always be second best to most of the teams who come down from premuership.

Agree2 Disagree0

End of season 3 more clubs joining us from prem, yes it's unfair East coast . The system is unfair somehow we have to be more astute . Seems to yo-yo, clubs go up and one dark horse, it has to be us . Be cute, bend the rules whatever, I won't be embarrassed if we do it's the way of things . Remember the hand ball game at Leeds, are they sorry not one bit.

It has to change . We have all seen it for years so surely someone else has . Bournemouth, WBA and Fulham to go up, yet again Norwich down probably with Leeds possibly Burnley . All of which next season or two out of the three will go up, the season after two out of Bournemouth etc will come down . You could equally say how boring are the same 5/ 6 that are at the top of the premier ship. That’s why I say let them go and form a super league . Apart from Leicester in recent years who else is there.

Interesting read doc and totally get it.
Once when sides got promoted they invested heavily in top players and if it worked then they survived.
Now teams aren't investing and are happy to collect the money and don't lose players and so keep the team together.
The idea was to help clubs put financially, but as is human nature clubs are taking advantage of it and just pocketing the money.
We now gave clubs like Norwich with no ambition whatsoever but to make money.
The answer is to scrap ffp if an owner can show he can pay the debts of his club and is willing to do so then they should be allowed to spend their money.
Too much red tape nowadays.

nearly all if not all prem clubs have over seas owners, they they are in it for the money not the love of the game. a new euro super league will be back on the table soon mark my words, this time they will get their way, money talks so let them go. the fa should reform the whole of the divisions and ditch the parashute payments, just might make the yoyo teams think twice and don't take the p. s.
