I hope the Championship does not become like the Premiership, ie the same top 5 every year and the bottom 5 loscillating with the championship 5 . Occ a Leeds escapes but could be back down again soon. His money the only factor with ridiculous parachute payments. In some ways a European league would make our premier ship and Championship more interesting . My hope is as all of us for the Reds to get into the premier league but has Maranakis got the bank account to keep us up.

Plenty of sides get relegated and never go back, some even drop another league.
It's not a fair playing field with their parachute payments, but they lose the Premier players when they get relegated, so you either do a Norwich and have no ambition but to make money by getting beat every week with a side that is a very good championship side but no way good enough for the Premier, or invest wisely in youth with a few quality signings to stay there and build on it.
Sheffield utd have spent money on the wrong players and will now struggle because no one wants your brewsters and the rest they paid to much for and their wages will kill them.
It's not as easy as it looks to just walk back to the Premier.

Wasn’t it Cooper that had Brewster bagging for fun on loan from Liverpool which got him the big money move to Sheffield Utd?
