Rubbish manager but would he should have been installed to run the club, his eye for a player is great and we could have had his football philosophy rather than that of EM’s limpets . Massive opportunity lost .

Pearce should have been offered a different role within the club once he was sacked as manager, 2star could have put it much better.

We as supporters of Nottingham forest football club should have stood by Stuart Pearce when he was our manager instead we did nothing to support him when psycho needed us the most.
Makes me ashamed of how we treat our best ever Nottingham forest players, plus Martin O’Neill and Roy Keane got no respect or backing either sad how we treat our former and most (respected) supposedly players.

I agree that O'Neill and Keane where treated badly, i suspect because one, if not both vented their annoyance with the clubs hierarchy incompetence. Pearce was different, a good number 2 and scout but no manager, you can not let your feelings that we all had for him as a player rule your mind.

Very well said damson, another brilliant player led to the slaughter house to be put asleep from the management that doesn't see history but dollars. For me he just didn't carry cloughs heart but let the team know what it was like to play for this great club, Now if ever a player needed that bit more guidance in the managerial side it was pscho. But money has no time for hearts mate. pig ignorance should be slaughtered not love and determination.

There was not enough backing or support for Stuart Pearce or Roy Keane and Martin O’Neill appointing Stuart Pearce was the right thing to do imo but the club had no patience to let either of the above manage and create a successful squad which takes time and money.
Bowie IMO we the supporters of this great club didn’t create enough of a out cry when psycho, O’Neill and Keane got the boot, we seemed to just let it happen which I thought was a bit spineless and cowardly.
but now Nottingham forest football club look like they’ve learned there lesson by giving Chris houghton money and time to build a squad and an identity, it’s just a shame they didn’t give our legends Stuart Pearce, Martin O’Neill and Roy Keane the same chance as there giving Chris houghton. Which is disrespectful to our legends.
