I'm reliably informed that I missed Mr Vivian Anderson MBE as the half time Sky Sports pundit Forest v Derby on Friday as I was away from the TV sorting out refreshments. Sir, you are a legend and and one of my all time heroes. I'm sure he probably talked a lot of sense as well.

He mentioned Yates may be the next players who could successfully undertake the right back conversion .
In all seriousness though stokey, Viv Anderson is a hero and a forest legend . There won’t be many of those from recent times will there?

{Ed001's Note - lovely guy as well, him and Robson were funny when they were in charge of Boro. The Boro training ground was in the same village my parents were living in at the time, so when I would visit them I would pop along and watch training if there was any on. Apart from nearly getting run over by one of their new signings once on the walk there, it was great fun.}

Ed known viv since he was 12 1st black lad to play for England, still the same down to earth bloke now, none of his achievements ever went to his head,

Excellent Oakham! 😂😂.! When the National Football Museum in Manchester is out of lockdown I’d recommend a visit. One of the exhibits was Vivs England shirt v Czechoslovakia as the first manof colour to wear the 3 Lions. It has a section on Cloughies achievements including Larry Lloyd’s shirt worn in one of the European Cul triumphs (can’t remember which one) . I know these shirts shrink in the wash but I can’t believe Big Larry ever fitted into it! 😄.
