It would be nice if our owner and manager could find the time to release a statement
The silence is ignorant to us committed fans.

Don't be silly Red Red . Give em your money and do one .
Tis disgusting tho pal. Remember Randall saying he would communicate everything, that lasted about a fortnight with his cheesy mug shot hanging over every Deadwood signing 🎈.

About what?

02 Sep 2020 18:56:06
I think if any other business had let their customers down as badly as forest did at the end of last season, some sort of statement from the management would be expected to be forethcoming,

Failure is the norm in football, success is limited, failure often gets a manager sacked. The club were reported to be having a inquiry into what went wrong, which was to in include the players leader. The result was the players leader somehow kept his job, which is very rare for Forest then in came Colback, Blackett, Freeman, and Taylor, all with Championship experience. That has been mixed with the odd player from Europe. That means a change in transfer policy. That is our answer.

What do you expect them to say?
The manager was in the Post after each of the last few games including the last game expressing his disappointment and shock.
What more do you want?
Why revisit old ground?
Lets move on and look forward to the new season.

Well said. 👍.

What exactly are they to come out and say? give your heads a shake and get the feck over it. Last season is done, history over and finished. Move on get behind the Manager and the team are you Forest supporters or what? Stop looking for rubbish that ain’t there and back your team.

Keep the fecking Faith.

Just a club statement to express disappointment at the way things turned out, and how an investigation Into why it occurred, and an assurance lessons would be learned, and acted upon, to try to make sure such an occurrence was unlikely to happen again, and an apology to their loyal customers for their support and patience, that sort of thing really, in the real business world where customers / supporters are valued, this sort of statement would be deemed a necessity, after a catastrophic business failure, it means not a lot, but it’s polite not to forget the people that help pay the wages, and are at the soul of the business,

I do not care too much about what players, bosses, and owners say, it is usually just what we want hear not what they intend. Actions speak volumes. Four players with Championship experience have come in, that tells us what was talked about in the end of term meetings.

I’m sorry but this just reeks of entitlement. There’s really no need for a statement. Everyone can see we fudged up. It’s football. Get over it. The investigation I have ran is simple, naivety led to loss. It went downhill from that last minute draw with Derby. That was the turning point, our confidence was shattered and that was it. We had a lot of young members of the squad and they struggled after it. SL tried to do what he could but he was also hurt by it and his confidence was gone. Though this season he has a big motivational factor and I’m not scared by any team that is in our league this season. So stop looking back at last season which we can do nothing about and start looking forward to this one.

Yes it ‘ reeks of entitlement ‘ because the fans are entitled to have their existence and support acknowledged,

03 Sep 2020 07:18:56
How about they acknowledge people like ff79 when he tries to contact them?

03 Sep 2020 07:52:52
Berserker yes I’m a forest supporter and have been probably longer than plenty on here, I am just pointing out what happens in the real business world, and not in the football world where support and custom is taken for granted, in my time I have seen plenty more failure than success, and’ got over it’ and come back because I love the club, still doesn’t make it right to be ignored and taken for granted by the clubs owners, so save your lectures about support mate.

I agree Stevie F: we should have had something like "The Company running Test Track and Trace sincerely apologizes to everyone who has failed to be contacted, for the unreliability of the product itself, and for any consequences that have followed." Perhaps not exactly in those words but something like it.

we were always going to sell some our best assets after failing to go up, hopeful we keep Woza and build from here.
