People keep saying that Carvalho is not a winger, he is not strong enough and is a number 10, however you do get lightweight wingers but not many lightweight midfielders. If he is to lightweight for the wing then he has no chance in midfield. I do think his skill set does better suit number 10,however if he was half as good as his price tag he should at least show something when played SLIGHTLY out of position and not be a passenger, Matty was not a full back but knuckled down and made himself one the best. I think this is what Sabri is saying when telling him "he needs more from him and he knows what I need". He seems a nice guy but we can't afford to carry a nice guy.

He should have made some progress by now to bulk himself up so he can fend off players, as he has not done that says he can not be bothered, do we want players like that. Players should know their weaknesses then work on them, when you go in the gym you some results in a shortish space of time.

Yep Silva baulked himself up at man city.
Load of nonesense plenty of good slightly built players.
Granted in the championship it does tend to suit the more powerfull players.

Not really a comparison, silva at city is on a different planet talent wise to Jc, shouldn’t even be mentioned in the same conversation, ludicrous, ff, slightly built players with great talent will be ok, I think we all know that mate.

Silva also puts the effort in to complement supreme skills, Cavalaho has had time but seems to be going backwards I would love him to come good but how long do you wait as his value will keep going down, 10m gets you a good striker.

Fff79 and Archie would have eaten Jc alive in midfield, all the players you have mentioned are so much better than Jc, that’s why stature didn’t matter in their case.
