But, to be fair to him and others, they never had a chance of playing under Dyche.
It's not Edu or the players' fault, it's Nuno having a strop and turning our season into turmoil.


Hope West Ham get relegated, because he deserves it.
Had the chance to be the best since Clough, but blew it.
Now Vitor has that chance with those same players, though useless?

Do you think we’ve all been over critical of Edu DTP? Some might argue that the guy never had a chance because the coach at the time was determined to make him look incompetent. It caused much turmoil and strife, and has taken a while to settle. It’s a view / opinion that may now be looking valid.

Players knowing that they aren’t wanted at a football club soon lose their way. Question is, did we have the right DOF but the wrong coach? What then came were two appointments who weren’t really the right ones from a perspective of bringing the club and players back together as one?

All about confidence in your ability as a coach and passing that on to the players.
There's an intent to attack and close down from the first minute, no trying to hold on or worrying about the opposition, just play our game and let them worry about us.
Even threadbare on options, Vitor has found a formula to win.

Nuno was brilliant last season, Bowie. I have no axe to grind. I am more interested in the concept that, with the right man in charge, the players Edu brought in may be much better than they seemed. Could be interesting for us next season if we can keep the squad together, and maybe we all owe Edu an apology...

I think we all were concerned about the team selection.

It was a massive performance and win.

I don’t know quite how Victor has done it and surely deserves all the plaudits. Not many on this site would have predicted that team selection. He has built a confident squad of players. That team then over ran a very expensive Chelsea side. Victor subbed of course, but kept on McAtee, Bakwa, Netz, Yates.

How much confidence will it give these players? We saw how good these players are. We now have 3 proven strikers. Awonyi rightly man of the match and playing 90 mins. Pleased for the away fans.
Next stop Villa.
