I don’t often post on here, but I do find it genuinely odd that people are not more critical of the owner. There is an argument of ‘be careful what you wish for’ but that is totally different to making a few direct observations.
The owner often intervenes, often changes things, and eventually luck runs out.
I’ve thought from the day Nuno left, we would go down. Why? Because he was a glue in the squad/ club, but also it was pretty clear we had spent a lot of money on not a lot. We probably didn’t have much left for January window, whereas West Ham have rolled the dice on a few good looking players and will score goals.
For all the criticism of Dyche, some of which I get, none of our 3 managers have done much with the squad and results have been better overall with Dyche.
So does one blame Edu? Probably. Does one blame Mr M? I think so. He was dining with Ange when Nuno was still there last summer and he is responsible for his actions.
He wanted to change managers, he wanted to go on the pitch, he has wanted to make lots of changes to senior staff in the club (or they have moved on themselves).
An unstable wok environment doesn’t lead to positive results and staff in any job (footballers or whomever) get sidetracked and disappointed by the constant change.
We appear to have a lot of average squad players and about 5/ 6 very good players who we pin everything on. How many of our signings since promotion - 7th biggest net spenders I think - have been good? 20%? 25%
There appears to be little strategy.
We have wages 90% of revenue apparently, and that is not a good dynamic with the new squad cost actions arriving this summer.
If we get relegated, most people will blame SD and the players (and I get that perhaps) but nothing will really change for the better until we have a different approach to everything we do.

But remember after coming on the pitch marinakis was proved right the awoniyi was badly injured, so that's another version from yours?
He met Postecoglu because he was at an award ceremony in Greece to present Postecoglu with an honour fir being the first coach of Greek descent to win a European trophy, so that's a different story and a true one?
He then gave Nuno a new three year contract?
Do you believe he did that knowing nuno was going to rock the boat?
On edu, that was always the plan and nuno had 6 months warning of his arrival
To me the whole season is a write off as we will be knocked out of Europe next under dyche abd the main person responsible is NUNO.

If we get relegated we will have to change, championship football is more physical than the premier League. A lot will go due to the ffp rules and new faces (mediocre players) will arrive, including a new coach.
Mr M has pumped more money into the club than anyone else, I'm afraid it's a case of his way or the door. i believe the catalyst for our demise is edu things were looking good until he arrived. we will see.

Needed your sleep mate. you are getting on though. And I disagree probably like a few others. but I've said why plenty times before and don't want to keep repeating myself like you do fans can make there own minds up. the only time u will curse nuno is if and when. he gets west ham above us.
