Firstly, I hope anyone who saw Phil Foden's performance against us has dismissed totally any similarity between him and McAtee. Foden has brilliant touch, quick feet and instant control. McAtee is academy class. He does look a bit like him - maybe this swayed the idiot who was conned and recommended him?
On tonight's match, Jesus, despite trying hard, offers no threat or danger to the opposition and isn't quick enough nor has trickery or pace.
The lad looks out of his depth at this level. We need a striker desperately. Terrible performance tonight. Despite what some are saying, didn't think Gibbs-White had too bad a game and looked better than a lot of the Everton players. Dyche needs to raise the level of performance and maintain it for the next 10 games or we're in trouble.
