And there you go, another loss. Laugh all you want- yes I’m negative with our league position and performances in general.
But the table doesn’t lie.
Unless of course you think it’s all a sinister plot to relegate us with poor referee decisions.

Agree4 Disagree0

Red frog suppose it’s ok for the ref to play on when a team has simultaneously taken 2 throw ins, but I’ve never seen it before, and the ball he gave to their goalkeeper was our ball, we had possession, never seen anything like it,

02 Mar 2024 17:53:05
I’ll reply red frog, we may not be able to beat Liverpool, but we can’t beat the referees! This league is corrupt, and there isn’t one of you on this site that will change my mind! So don’t bother trying.

Neco pen against West Ham, Awonyiyi pen not given, Boly sending off, Toney moving ball, players going down holding their heads when they have lost the ball, then getting up because the refs have stopped the game. 9 mins injury when 8 held up. Gibbs white booked for time wasting which I agree with, countless teams playing against us have done it and refs just point to their watch. There are countless other decisions I haven’t mentioned. The team played well today and I was proud of em. We had far better chances and more of em. We made Liverpool look like an average prem side today.

Redfrog if we had won 5 nil against the top side in the country u still would of found something to be negative about we didn't get hammered we lost 1 nil in 90 plus 8 minutes and if elanga had put one of his chances away the result could of been different cheer up buddy summers on its way ?.

02 Mar 2024 18:00:11
Get rid of the ball instead of pi$$ing around on the edge of your own box with seconds to go. Schoolboy defending once again from a set-piece. Relegation is deserved when we defend how we do.

02 Mar 2024 18:02:03
Exactly stevie I'm fuming about those decisions
Atonal disgrace, we have to play the refs now aswell as the opposition.

02 Mar 2024 18:08:32
Stop blaming the ref. The buck stops with the manager. When did we last score a goal? 20% possession? ?.

02 Mar 2024 18:11:15
DTP and Stevie, ordinarily I would say you make your own luck over the season but I have to ageee with you both.

02 Mar 2024 18:33:18
I am sorry to say this we are bereft of a centre forward. Clearly Elanga is not. He missed not one but two chances, he gave away a free kick that led to a goal against MU. He missed two other open goals in another match. You must agree we are missing the skill of BJ and this has left a big hole which is certainly not filled by Elanga or HO. The latter giving the ball to Liverpool when clearing his lines was all he needed to do to give his team a draw. A mistake again but undoing what was a very brave and skilful defence for 98 minutes and we should take that forward. Taiwo is not right not fit or mentally not right. Origi was excellent but never should Elanga play as a centre forward again. Ok once again the referee was at fault and made a wrong decision, however the Reds should have demolished an average Liverpool side. It was not the referee that lost us the game, it was certain members of our team.

02 Mar 2024 18:37:00
Derby red, what game have you just watched? We defended well for the 98 mins we were told we had to play. We were scored against after the time allotted and if they didn’t score then Liverpool would have had another 5 mins. Shame on you for that post. We were cheated by the officials AGAIN! ??.

02 Mar 2024 18:47:50
Yes I agree elanga and origi missed great chances as did MGW
When you don't take chances it leaves you open to the opposition taking advantage
But be honest, if you have the ball and your attacking just outside the opposition area and an opponent goes down like a sack of spuds with a supposed head injury, then after showing by getting up straight away there was nothing wrong with him to stop the game in the first place?
Does it then become a free kick to Liverpool?
Tats not in the rules and neither is two balls at the same time.

02 Mar 2024 19:06:05
8 minutes is a minimum, Red Ace. Not a maximum. Play to the whistle. 2 players had a chance to clear their lines and they didn't. Clear it and it's a point.

I do think we played well today. Similar to Wednesday. We missed a few decent chances again. We defended well again, generally speaking. But for a few more seconds we need to keep switched on. We shouldn't expect much off VAR. Considering the past 2 home League matches where we didn't even get definite penalty decisions. Amongst other things.

02 Mar 2024 19:39:33
Derby, VAR doesn’t come into it, it was an 'error' giving them the ball when we were in an attacking position, they shouldn’t have been in our half to score the goal, and don’t even get me going on the two throws ins being taken by Liverpool with 2 different balls at the same time about 20 yards apart, and the bafoon played on, , pathetic, I’ve put error in commas because I think it’s part of the script, he was a disgrace, 98 mins of work undone by a cheat,

02 Mar 2024 20:18:22
Bang on stevie.

02 Mar 2024 20:19:46
Derby minimum of 8 means 8 and then more if a goal is scored or subs or trainers come on. If no incidents occur then it’s a straight 8 mins. The ref set his watch to those 8 mins and and gets a buzz in the wrist when it’s up. Your are never going to convince me bud sorry! ?‍♂️?‍♂️.

02 Mar 2024 22:28:24
Plus the 'head injury' which was in stoppage time about 2/ 3 minutes before they scored.

03 Mar 2024 13:09:43
Redfrog what about the pen on Dans your lad was not even looking at tbe ball and almost raped Dans so shut up and go and frog off every prem team has had bad ref decisions against them your not the first and you won't be the last suck it up and shut up
