{Ed025's Note - all spending is relevant as far as i know Stevie, its about the relevance of income against outgoings, the amount of losses you can make has not been upgraded for 10 years and is well out of date mate, the people who run the premier league are not fit for purpose as far as i am concerned and until that changes the smaller clubs like us will always be on the receiving end..

I’m sure I read somewhere that investment into the academy isn't included along with things such as women’s football? So you can throw money at women’s football but not men’s? Everyone including tv, media etc can lose money and try to create interest in the ladies game but you can’t do the same for the established game that can potentially make money? Profit and sustainability ??
{Ed001's Note - but there is more potential for growth in the women's game. By the way, until women's football was banned by the FA it had bigger crowds in England. That is why the FA banned it, because it was affecting crowds at the male football. The woman's game is growing at a huge rate, it makes far more sense to invest in that than the men's game, which has little return on the investment in terms of growth.}

Game was lost with team selection
The way nuno sets up with 4, 2, 1, 3 looks better on the eye going forwards but leaves us wide open in midfield aswell, as often it turns into 4, 2 4, that needs to change in away games by leaving one of the wingers out and strengthening midfield imo.

The rules as they stand ain't fit for purpose 10 points for an overspend yet 9 for entering administration
And those presiding over those rules are inept.
